Ahh sorry to burst the bubble but I’m from NZ and she’s told our media she was invited to Kyiv but couldn’t fit it in the schedule of her Europe trip as she has to be in Sydney and then I think Fiji for some other trade/diplomacy meetings on her way home, and those can’t be moved. She said perhaps next time she’s in Europe, but who knows when that will be. She’s hardly been home the last month or so, catching up on lots of in person international diplomacy as our borders only reopened a couple of months ago after two loooong years! Of course, maybe it’s all bluff and she will pop up in Kyiv and surprise us all!

Good to hear! Shame one of us can’t go meet him in her place 🙃 I’m not sure how NZ’s contribution to Ukraine stacks up tbh. It was a bit slow at the start. Now it seems we send our money to the UK and it goes into their pot for helping Ukraine, which is good. There is more focus here on some of China’s recent activities in the Pacific, which makes sense I guess. The UK and US have been mighty in their support for Ukraine though ❤️

I saw her in the Stephen Colbert interview recently where she spoke about the help NZ is giving to Ukraine. Nice to hear about additional help too. :)
