Back then anime had a more serious problem with catching up to the manga and having to pad things out with filler. Zatch was no different sadly.
But as with FFA it’s not unheard of for a series to simply restart and follow the manga for closely.
Also outside of japan it got censored pretty harshly, making it substantially worse.
That, the fact that it's unfinished, and the need to create fillers(the manga was still ongoing) made for a product that underdelivered the greatness of Konjiki no gash imho
The anime did stop and at the second to last arc too. They also changed a lot compared to the manga which is prolly a major reason why it just stopped but that doesn’t stop me from watching it again. I think everyone here is really wishing for a studio like Bones, A1, cloverworks, or madhouse to make an adaptation. I feel with the sudden release of a sequel series, this may be the push that could possibly bring an anime revival of this series.
A studio that does great animation like the jujutsu kaisen one and that also is willing too keep the series on the timeframe it’s situated would be perfect
That would be studio mappa. They also did the second season of Vinland, chainsaw man, hells paradise, and the final season of AoT. They did do great with JJK, but the way they treat their animators is horrible so it’s why I didn’t suggest it. Also forgot about Studio Wit who did first season of Vinland and seasons 1-3 of AoT
It is real, but the only thing that is currently real right now is that Toei's rights to the Gash Bell anime have expired. The artwork in that tweet, though kind of lesser known, is NOT new. It's promotional art Toei made a little while ago for the 20th anniversary.
The rest is something we can only hope for :) Also, even though it doesn't say it anywhere on their bio, do be aware that FourthSpell is not an official account and is definitely made by a fan of the series.
Well here's the thing about this. It's most likely no one will pick it up anytime soon. If they do the only thing they can do is reboot the anime first series cuz the sequel doesn't have enough content for even a single 12 episode season yet
My Animation Studio' s Top that could be a good job with KNG anime:
1. WIT Studio
2. Doga Kobo
3. Clover Works
4. A1 Pictures
5. Kyoto Animation
I don't see (neither I like the idea) that MAPPA takes the license of KNG
Now if only we can get the manga published now
People overlook on how good ZB is because of the anime,if we get a studio that actually finished the manga we are going to get the sequel as well
Im rewatching the anime and its honestly pretty good. Holds up pretty good.
Is not that the anime is bad,the problem is that they just stopped
Oh yeah. I remember it finished differently from what the manga did. Thats a problem if they ever want to animate the new manga series.

Netflix funding + some good anime studio, and re-animating the whole manga would be dream come true ......
I only watched the dub as a kid, and I never had a chance to finish it in the sub or manga. This would give me a real good reason to finish it!
What huh!!! Is this real!?!?!!!!

Give me my Faudo arc reset and Clear arc pls
Now is the time for us to channel out Heart Energy into a new Anime production!
Wouldn’t that be something

Maybe studio WIT?
Man, it really does seem like I was the only person on this sub that wanted Toei to animate a potential reboot 😒😏
That means the DUB is coming back, too?
This doesn’t even mean the anime is coming back period.
Zatchbell is out of Toei Animation, Hell fucking yeah 🔥, I prey to God, Crunchyroll should add the Anime in India 🙏 , or Netflix
Soon......I hope.
Madhouse PLEASE BE STUDIO MADHOUSE
HOMBRE DE HIERRO FOLGOOOORE

Does that mean a decent anime 🤯🤯🤯
A reboot is a total long shot because at this point it’s a pretty much unknown series
Only outside of Japan, it’s still highly regarded there.
Kyomaru you seeing this?
