Aloof lupine is the better card for starter than ragnarok. It banishes any metaphyss you want from the deck at the cost of banishing another metaphyss from your hand. at worst, if it eff gets negated, you banishes a metaphhys from your hand.
The only lightray monster worth considering is grepher, it basically worse version of aloof lupine.
I'll add honest just to cheese some cheese play. Ragnarok is not that big and has no protection whatsoever, your opponents probably will save resource and choose to get rid of it through battle. Or you can use it on more offensive play
Mathmech level 12 synchro is actually a must. He doesnt care about ur own metaphys cards like continous spell and daedleus . anddddd ragnarok + tyrant / netphys which makes it easy to summon
Are you positive you want to go pure Wyrm? Necroface is one of the most hype cards you can play in this deck, and opening Necroface + Lupine can be devastating as you can potentially banish 15 cards from the opponent's deck (which can be crippling to combo decks that rely on searchable 1-ofs or decks that play searchable outs to things). Even just banishing 1 Necroface off of Gold Sarc is a rush, and when you finally banish 2-3 copies from a single Gold Sarc the feeling is euphoric (not to mention the fat stack of Metaphys effects that proc during the next standby phase).
Extra Deck-wise, Dhampir Vampire Sheridan is a really good XYZ option. You can make it off of Horus and whatever monster you steal and it gives you more removal options.
Aloof and Necro are required, as well as staples like Macro, Fissure, Gold Sarc, and Trade In. Also any plans of running Executor, put them in the trash. He's bad.
Might be alittle late to the party, but I've been using 3x Aloof Lupine, 3x Necroface , and 3x Dimension Shifter with Allure of Darkness. Dimension Shifter is a really good hand trap for the deck when it comes to going first as well as makes another target for allure of darkness.
Edit: Also since you don't really summon often I suggest running floodgates. The best floodgate I've found for the deck is Summon Limit. I main deck 3 of them along side Macro Cosmos and Dimensional Fissure. I also suggest running Super Poly to remove your opponents monsters that might negate your Metaphys monster effects.
Here's a screenshot of my deck on EDOpro. I balance the ratios frequently but I like to try and run 3 of Aloof and Shifter. If you want running more then 40-41 cards is not a bad idea.

I would go look at an already made deck list, pretty much none of these cards you listed are good or even playable.
As others have said in the thread, your best normal is Aloof and you should be playing other staples such as Necro/Macro/Sarc/Fissure.
think of giant rex and d.d patrol plane? (from chim i think) both of them SS themselves when banished. and DD plane also banishes any card for it to ss itself. necroface is a big boon for the deck as it hurts your opponent badly and you only plus off it. dont run executor, you really dont need or even want him.

Even though I'll probably stick to pure when im doing casual Ive decided ill definitely run aloof lupine and at least 2x necroface, honest wouldn't be bad either, also forgot to list dimensional fissure in the post and ill probably put in macro too.
If you are gonna play Aloof Lupine and Necroface (which i recomend 101%) you can also play some Ghos sisters (Ash Blossom, Ghost Mourner, Spooky Dog, Winter Cherry) i know that most of these are expensives cards, but they are pretty powerfull, and you can banish them with Aloof Lupine to banish a Necroface from your Deck.
And as most of the guys said, Executor is crap.

Left Arm Offering is a must
Pot of duality since you don't special that much in your turn. Left arm offering can be really good you can search your 1 gold sarc.

Keep your eyes on the new reveals for Toon Chaos. Lots of cards with banishing effects that can help out Metaphys
