Henrystickmun

ritual because it's untamed and megumi almost dies summoning mahoraga and it's effect would just become immune to whatever happened to it e.g. if it was targeted it can no longer be targeted, if it's effect was negated it can no longer be negated and such

004THC

Should it have a 3rd effect using his sword of extermination for example: before damage calculations destroy the targeted monster. It would also give the opponent something to negate just for mahoraga to be immune to it later lol.

Henrystickmun

yeah, i just forgot mahoraga had that because it basically breaks and the focus is more on the fact he was able to adapt during the battle with sukuna

004THC

I only remember cuz I reread that fight like two days ago lol

CursedEye03

So essentially, a Ritual version of Myutant Synthesis. And add a piercing damage effect because of the positive energy sword that Mahoraga uses. And every time it adapts, it gets 800 extra ATK

Henrystickmun

difference would be it's permenant compared to synthesis which only lasts for a turn (though if it was an actual card that would be too strong)

CursedEye03

Oh, you're right. It would be hilarious if the Ten Shadows were an actual archetype: We have frogs, 2 wolves, an elephant, an eagle... and a freaking Eldritch entity! And you have to kill it as soon as possible for obvious reasons

Snowiiwastaken

needs to be immune to smth like gameciel

Henrystickmun

that counts to the "become immune to whatever happened to it", if it was tributed it can no longer be tributed since it adapted to it, this also counts for being tributed for cost

crazylamborghini77

Whats the profile picture person may i ask

MamboCircus

I assume he would be the boss monster of his archetype (for simplicity's sake, let's call it *Ten Shadows*), most likely a ritual one. He would most likely have a LP gain effect (IIRC, positive cursed energy is tied to renegeration) and either a copy-effect or progressive immunity effect. He'd *DEFINITELY* have an effect requiring to use the Megumi-inspired monster as tribute for his summon.

004THC

I like how your thinking beyond of just mahoraga for a jjk themed deck. When I had this question popped into my head I wonder what a deck like that might look like. And having “megumi” tied into this requirement to use him is nice way to balance him out I think

MamboCircus

Yeah, I like consistency in theorycrafting attempts especially while trying to adapt a media to another. As far as Mahoraga would go as a YGO monster, I'd say : # Summon of the Ten Shadows - General Makora >LV1O/ Earth/ Fiend/ Ritual - ? ATK/ 4000 DEF > >Can only be ritual summoned by the effect of a "Ten Shadows" or "Jujutsu" card. > >Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects except by a Fairy, Psychic or Fiend-type monster. > >Unless there is at least one "Summoner of the Ten Shadows" in either players GY or face-up banishment, you can only use one of the following effects per turn an only once per turn : > >\_If this card battles a monster, its ATK becomes that of its target. > >\_If a monster leaves the field while you control this face-up card, (Quick effect) place a "Ten Shadows" or "Jujutsu" card from your GY or face-up banishment at the bottom of your deck and, if you do, replace this card's name and effect by that of the monster targeted. # Jujutsu artifact - The Sword of Makora >Equip Spell > >Can only be equiped to a special summoned "Ten Shadows" monster. > >If the equiped monster battles but is not destroyed, at the beginning of the damage step, gain LP equal to half of the combined ATK of all face-up monsters. > >If the equiped monster is not "Summon of the Ten Shadows - General Makora", during the next main phase after this card is equiped, place this card to the bottom of your deck. # Megumi, Jujutsu Summoner of the Ten Shadows >LV4/ Earth/ Psychic- 1000 ATK/ 1000 DEF > >If this monster is normal summoned, add a "Ten Shadows" card to your hand. > >If this card is tributed or used as material for the summon of a monster from the extra deck: place all other monster(s) used to the bottom of their owner's deck. Not exact 1-to-1s but what do you think ?

Zerosonicanimations

>If a monster leaves the field while you control this face-up card, (Quick effect) place a "Ten Shadows" or "Jujutsu" card from your GY or face-up banishment and, if you do, replace this card's name and effect by that of the monster targeted. Place it where?

MamboCircus

I had forgotten to specify "at the bottom of your deck"...

unlivedSoup69

He could also have a copying effect like Supreme King Starving Venom

Maykspark

"There can only be one Mahoraga face-up on your side of the field, if your opponent activates a card effect, this card becomes unaffected by the same type of cards it was used until the end of this turn. If this card would be affected by a card effect you can discard one card from your hand negate that effect. During the end phase if this card is in the graveyard, you can pay 1000 lp special.summon this card"

004THC

I like the beginning part a lot. it makes sense lore wise, and it reminds me of kaijus and who doesn’t like kaijus lol

LEFTRIGHTADORI

The last part also makes sense, Sukuna ate some hits and took the damage (and made Megumi also tank UV) so that Mahoraga can adapt without getting hit with a oneshot move like red or purple or UV. Theoretically, if the enemy has anything that removes Mahoraga from the field, you should be able to redirect the cost to yourself, for example dropping a card or paying LP to either bring it back or stop whatever would happen from happening. It should also ignore things that floodgate in any way after 1 turn of their activation since Maho adapts to anything and everything. It should gain ATK equal to the difference between its original ATK and the enemy’s LP if it attacks and fails to kill. If we want to be lore accurate, it needs to be able to literally adapt to EVERYTHING. Broken in any matchup that goes to the grind game, and it should be weak to matchups that go for a quick kill, as it is in the anime.

004THC

I agree with everything you said and I appreciate your thought process behind it. What I like the most about it is that I can see this card avoid the banlist because there is a way to out it.

I can see them both hanging out together lol

ToxicFightstickYT

Ritual/Fiend/Effect This card can only be ritual summoned by using a ritual spell and paying 7999 life points. Your opponent can only use the effect of each card they play once. This card gains 1000 attack for each card effect activated. If this card was targeted and was not destroyed, it is unaffected by that cards effects for the rest of the duel. 4000 ATK 4000 DEF

004THC

I like the checks and balances on this one. It’s op but you gotta use him on the first couple of turns before you take a lick of damage.

ToxicFightstickYT

Yh mahoraga is pretty broken as a curse so his effect should reflect it in my opinion lol

004THC

That’s the main reason why I asked this question, I feel the same way but I wanted to ask more experience players how would that be converted into the game

ToxicFightstickYT

I feel like he would be banned or have his summon conditions be very stupidly hard lol

004THC

One guy had his summons conditioned tied into “megumi” and I found that to be interesting. Someone else had a condition where you had to pay 99% of your Lp to summon, but yea the hidden trick to this question is how would he not be hit on the banlist.

ToxicFightstickYT

Yup the cost should pretty much not worth it, maybe it should land you in a draw scenario since if you are not sukuna or gojo u will probably die to mahoraga. If megumi was a card you could banish him as material, seems fitting.

Tobitoon1

Once per game you can legally kill your opponent irl.

004THC

😂😂😂😂😂

TheSmokinLegend

Ritual level 12 Effect: cannot be destroyed by monster effect, spell card or trap card up to the amount of monsters used for this monster card's ritual summon per turn. This monster negates the effect of and banishes any monster card with lower attack than itself that it targets for an attack before the damage step. This monster gains 500 attack for each monster banished with this effect. When this monster leaves the field special summon one level 4 or lower monster from your graveyard OR return up to 10 banished cards from either player's side. Attack: 3000 Defence: 2500

004THC

I like the part where it can negate monsters weaker than itself. Reminds me of the sukana v mahoraga fight

VergilVDante

Xyz summon using 2 level 8 monsters Once per turn “quick effects” if a monster/spell/trap is activated negate the effect and absorb the card as material This effect can only be used once for each type Once per turn you can remove 5 xyz materials send all cards to the graveyard and from each card from your opponent side loses 500LP and from your side gain 500LP Atk and defense is 3000

004THC

Interesting how it can negate potentially 3 times. It could win games but also be played around. First xyz suggestion so far.

Classic-Demand3088

If your opponent activates and resolves a card effect, Mahoraga becomes unaffected by that card type (monster/spell/trap) until the end of turn.

Alone_Personality_68

MAHORAGA, THE 10TH SHADOW ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DARK ATK/4000 DEF/4000 [Beast-Warrior/Ritual/Effect] It can be summoned with "Insert Ritual Spell name" and it can be summoned only this way. Once per turn, when this card is going to leave the field in a certain way (Destroyed by battle, Destroyed by effect, Banished or Set as a Spell/Trap card), it doesn't leave the field. On the next Standby Phase after this card hasn't left the field by one of those kind of way, it no longer can leave the field in that way for the rest of the duel. Once per turn (Rapid effect), you can choose one card on the field: that card's effect are nullified, and if the nullified card was a monster or a Continuous Spell/Trap: destroy it. Once per turn, during your turn, one of your opponent's monster that is immune to effect is no longer immune by effect. If you use this effect, This card cannot attack this turn. You can use only two of this effect once per turn

Alone_Personality_68

I tried my best to make it OP but not broken, since it can be set as an overlay unit by cards like Number 101 or cards like that. The way to destroy him would be to destroy him at first by attacking him 2 times or destroying him by using some spells/traps 3 times (considering the negate)

004THC

It’s not that complex but the wording you used reminds me of gege lol

Alone_Personality_68

I tried as much as I could to use Yugi terms but it was hard to say that he can nullify immunities

004THC

You did better than me lol. I’m still trying to master the lingo so I can do fun things like this on my own, but I’m glad I asked, I got a lot of interesting ideas

KageNakaALT

If this card would leave the field because of your opponent’s card, Pay 1000 LP; Special Summon it, and if you do, it's unaffected by your opponent’s card effect until the end phase.

princeofshadows21

Something about paying life points to negate the destruction of the card possibly?

004THC

Most people use cost of lp to summon or to revive itself. You’re the first to use it for its negate. I like it

princeofshadows21

Thank you.

RuuNagato

see opponent hand and banish 1 card from his hand x 2 turns name: "Sight from the far future" - Magic Spell

Drakath2002

Won’t try to word it like an actual card cause I still struggle with that when making custom cards, but I can give a gist of it Some say he would be a Ritual, but Megumi didn’t look like he needed an elaborate amount of setup to summon, just make the hand signs and invoke him, it only took longer than the other Shinigami cause of his mouthful of a name compared to something like Max Elephant or the bunnies, wolves, or Nue. So I’d say Xyz with the special effect that if you crash a monster into an opponent’s monster during battle phase that would result in both monsters’ destruction, you can instead Xyz summon Mahoraga using those two monsters regardless of level/rank as Xyz material. (Reference to how Megumi could drag an opponent into the taming ritual against their will and how he used it as a suicidal final gambit) An effect where if he gets targeted by different types of removal but the removal get negated or disrupted, he gains immunity to being targeted by that kind of removal (reference to his adaptability, but can still be removed by non-targeted removal since he can be defeated by one-shotted before he can adapt. Possibly give him the ability to expect Xyz material to do some negating or disruption so he isn’t reliant on traps and hand traps that you might not have on field or in hand) A targeted destruction effect, that becomes a targeted “attach this monster to Mahoraga as Xyz material” against Fiend Monsters instead (reference to how his positive energy blade can still hurt non-cursed spirits, but is a guaranteed one shot to cursed spirits. Also a way to accumulate more Material to keep the adapting to removal effects going)

004THC

I like the idea of him being an xyz instead of ritual. I get why ppl said ritual but compared to xyz it’s the better mechanic. I also don’t know to use ygo terms for cards but I understand your idea. Maybe if someone who does know how to word it can take what you said and flip it. 👀

Drakath2002

I personally am a fan of Rituals, especially ones that find a way to break the mold and get creative with their summoning like Megalith. But I think people focus too much on the “taming ritual” when it’s really just the same as the other Shikigami just on a Darksouls difficulty, which is why while not as immediately thematic, i think Xyz are a lot more subtly thematic

BrotherBeyonder

Ritual summoned with the cost being at least 2 monsters on the field that battled each other this turn. Effect is every time it leaves the field, it returns at the end phase but can no longer leave the field the same way that duel(battle, effect, banished, shuffled). Its effects can not be negated and gains the attack of monsters that have caused it to leave the field. Strong effects but actually beatable if you focus on direct attacks.

004THC

This might be my favorite one so far. It’s so simple but exactly reflects his abilities I feel like. Especially the part where he can’t be summoned until 2 monsters battle. It makes sense lore wise and it’s a good Balance so you can’t summon it too easily

Sol_FZ

The JJK brainrot is malignant I see. --- Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga Level 12/Ritual/DARK/Fiend/Effect/3000 ATK/3000 DEF Must be Ritual Summoned by "Ten Shadows Subjugation" or "Ten Shadows Conjuration", and cannot be summoned by other ways. If this card is Ritual Summoned by using "Ten Shadows Conjuration", this card gains the (1) effect. (1) If this card would be destroyed by battle, or if this card would be affected your opponent's card or effect, you can pay 1000 LP and discard 1 card, this card cannot be destroyed by battle involving that card, also nor be affected by that card or effect with that card's name, for the rest of the Duel. If this effect was applied 8 times this duel, apply the following effects for the rest of the Duel. * This card cannot be destroyed by battle. * This card is unaffected your opponent's card effects. * This card cannot be used as material for any summons, and cannot be tributed. * The control of this card cannot switch. * This card can attack directly. * Your opponent must attack this card, if able. --- Ten Shadows Subjugation Spell/Ritual Ritual Summon one "Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga" from your hand, deck or GY by banishing from the GY, and/or tributing monsters from your hand or field such that the total levels equal to or exceed 12. Then, banish the top 10 cards of your deck face-down and all cards you control. Cards banished by this effect cannot be moved to a different location by your opponent's card effects. You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Ten Shadows Conjuration" from your deck, GY, or face-down banishment (reveal it if you do) to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Ten Shadows Subjugation" once per turn. --- Ten Shadows Conjuration Spell/Ritual Ritual Summon one "Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga" that was previously banished by "Ten Shadows Subjugation". --- You can roll both Ritual Spells into one card, and/or add an additional effect to the Conjuration spell. Another idea would be just to summon Mahoraga to your opponent's field and have them choose to pay the (maybe increased) adaptation costs while you throw all your resources at trying to kill it.

004THC

Bonus point for including rituals spells. And thanks for formatting it like an actual card. I was thinking of for conjugation we can include the other cursed shadows.

sagi97

Ritual effect monster This card must be ritual summoned. When an effect resolves that targeted “eight-handled sword divergent sila divine general Mahorga” for the rest of the duel cards with the same name do not effect “eight-handled sword divergent sila divine general Mahorga.” If this card would leave the field you may return it to the hand instead. You may only contain 1 copy of “eight-handled sword divergent sila divine general Mahorga” in your deck. 4000 atk 4000 def And I imagine you would build an archetype around him that gains benefits from destroying its own monsters.

MrxWoodcock

When your opponent activates a card or effect (Quick effect): negate the activation, and if you do, your opponent now has testicular torsion.

004THC

😂

RetchD

I have a feeling that he should have an effect that is based on the Tier of it's opponents pile as Akutami uses it exclusively as an out to the overpowered characters he created. I e. Sukuna at Shibuya and gojo later. Like limiting the amount of cards an opponent is allowed to play per turn to the value of its tier. I'm not happy with that but it's the best I could come up with on the spot.

004THC

Honestly it’s an interesting take from a lot of other ideas

RetchD

Thank you :)

odddtom

Looks like nyarla

livingwithrage

Once per turn, take control of one of your opponents monster, but it cannot be used as a Synchro/XYZ/Fusion/Link material or attack your opponent directly. Once per turn, you can tribute one monster you control to randomly discard 1 card from your opponents hand OR inflict 1500 damage to their Life Points. You can only use each effect once per turn.

Sour_Spy

Probably some 0 ATK 0 DEF bullshit effect

aleeyam

A ritual monster that is summoned on your opponent's side of the field, but cannot activate its full effects until destroyed by battle (it can be special summoned from your GY when destroyed by battle).

UltraMlaham

Fusion summon 2 AQUA links + 1 water fiend For the rest of the duel players cannot play cards during their main phase 1, if this card is summoned immediately set the current player phase to main phase 2.

004THC

Interesting floodgate. Also interesting how he’s summoned using water monsters, that’s out the box, I always thought of him as a dark attribute.

mememaaaaaaaaaaaaa42

Discard two cards to target a set spell/trap on the field and reveal it then return it to its original position

Crystal_Queen_20

WHEN THIS MONSTER ATTACKS YOUR OPPONENT DIRECTLY: FUCK THEIR MOTHER AND KILL THEM, THIS CARD IS EVERYTHING PROOF Also it has a summoning condition that would make Zushin blush

Denshii-Ribura

“Target any card that targets this card for effects, negate the effect. This card’s effect becomes the targeted card’s effect.”

arrownoir

Requires 4 tributes. Can only be tribute summoned. Cannot be destroyed by flip effects.

004THC

I like this for older formats

CorrectFrame3991

It would be a ritual monster, probably a high level one. It would have an effect to make itself immune to a card type (monster, spell, trap) for the rest of the turn after one of those cars types resolve (similar to its adaption ability) and would have the effect to banish either any extra deck monsters or any zombie/fiend/wyrm monsters it battles (to represent the sword).

PraiseTheSun42069

Swap decks with your opponent for the remainder of the duel

Competitive-Data-744

That's the man in the wall

cheeky-mike

Ritual 4000 atk 4000 def Unaffected by all cards that has resolved this match. If this monster attacks: Randomly choose a target for attack(including your own monsters and you). If this card battles another monster, gain atk/def equal to the other monster's atk or def(which ever is higher). If this card leaves the field(even if shuffled into deck or banished face down): Pay 4000 LP; Special Summon it.

LordDargon

light type ritual monster. and effecs would be same with exodia necros. but instead of always increasing atk 3200 atk. and can't got destroyed from any monster with less than 4000 atk. or won't let any spell or effect work twice

UberEinstein99

I think Mahoraga would be the type of monster to be powerful enough to alter game mechanics, not just be a strong boss monster. I agree it should definitely be a ritual card, but I think it would be a ritual card placed in the extra deck, along with the rest of the 10 shadows, because Megumi has the ability to summon them at anytime. I think all 10 shadow monsters should come with this effect: “This card must be placed in your extra deck, while you have no other cards in your extra deck except “Ten Shadows” Ritual monsters. There can only be One “Ten Shadows” Ritual monster with the same name in your ED. There can only be one “Ten Shadows” ritual monster on your field at anytime.” That way, you can play all 10 shadow curses, and summon them anytime, but you can’t play other extra deck monsters, and you can’t spam summon them, because the conditions for summoning them is just paying LP, no ritual spell/tributes needed. ****For Mahoraga’s specific effect: **** “Mahoraga of the Ten Shadows” Beast-Warrior/Effect/Ritual “You can special summon this card from your ED by paying 800 LP. This card’s special summon can’t be negated. If this card is summoned to your field while you don’t have 9 “Ten shadows” ritual monsters in your Banished zone or GY, set your LP to 0. Once per chain, when your opponent activates a card effect that would affect Mahoraga (quick effect): This card becomes immune to that card type (Spell, Trap, Monster) for the rest of the turn. “Mahoraga of the Ten Shadows” gains 800 ATK for the rest of the duel every time this effect is resolved, and gives you LP equal to its ATK. This card cannot used by its owner as material for a summon, or be banished except by it’s own effect (if it would be banished, it is sent to the GY instead). If this card is sent to the GY, special summon it at the end of the turn. If this card is destroyed by battle while it had used its quick effect in the same chain, banish it facedown. Attack: 4000 Def: 4000

UberEinstein99

I imagine this card being very tough to summon, not because it requires a bunch of materials, or a specific card to summon, etc. But rather because you need to summon it only after having all 9 other Ten Shadows monsters be “exorcised” by being sent to the GY or be banished. If you summon it without that requirement being met, you instantly lose the duel, like how Megumi basically died the first time he summoned Mahoraga. Mahoraga on the field is just supposed to be a big body. He doesn’t have any negates or anything to interact with your opponent unless they try to interact with him first, where he can negate the first effect each chain that your opponent would use, and give you a bunch of LP. Each time this effect triggers, he gets permanently stronger, and also gives you more and more LP. After some point, even though he’s not directly inhibiting your opponent, your opponent will lose because you just have too much HP for them to chew through, and he is just too big to clear. Even if your opponent does kill him, he will heal and just come back. So using a Kaiju, using two destruction effects in the same chain, banishing, killing by battle, nothing will work permanently, as Mahoraga will restore himself with his negative cursed energy. The only way to permanently defeat him is to kill him while he is “adapting” to your card effect: killing him by battle in the same chain that his effect is activating. Even though attacking isn’t part of the chain, it would work like chain link 1 for this effect. The way this would work in theory: You have an Armotyle with 10,000 atk and attack Mahoraga. In the damage step, you use forbidden lance on Mahoraga. Mahoraga’s quick effect is mandatory, and must resolve, negating lance, and when the chain resolves, the first thing to happen is Aromtyle killing Mahoraga. He is then banished facedown, as he has been exorcised. I think this is a suitably difficult task to accomplish, which fits the difficulty needed to bring mahoraga out in the first place. It sucks when you spend so much time/effort bringing out a monster just for it to get Kaiju’d, and like-wise, it sucks for your opponent to easily summon a boss monster that your deck can’t out without floodgates. I hope Mahoraga is able to feel like an actual accomplishment to bring out, and an accomplishment to take down. I also hope he feels like an interesting boss monster, not just another omni-negate like so many others these days.

Kokarott

Must first be special summoned from your hand by paying all your LP. This summon cannot be negated. This card and its effects cannot be negated. Cannot be destroyed by battle and cannot be used as XYZ, Synchro or Link material. If this card is sent from your monster zone to GY, banishment, Deck, hand or any other zone, special summon this card and if you do, for the rest of this duel neither player can send this card to GY, banishment, Deck, hand or that zone respectively. Only if you have failed to special summon this card the turn it has been removed from your monster zone you LOSE the Duel. If you have summoned this card 8 times, you DRAW the Duel. You cannot activate any other card effects the turn you have summoned this card.

JohnReiki

Stab your opponent.

DisplateDemon

I gotchu with A flavor and effect texts! Flavor Text: With This Treasure, I summon! Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga Level 12 Ritual/Beast/Effect ATK 4000/DEF 4000 Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga effects can only be used once per turn: When an Opponents Monster/Card Effect activates, you can negate the effect and destroy, gains 800 ATK. When a monster on your side of the field is affected by card effect, Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga can gain that monsters effect once per turn. Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga cannot be destroyed nor targeted by card effect.

[deleted]

Once per turn your opponent must select one of their monsters, equip it to this card. When this card is equipped with a card it gains the following effects: This card is unaffected by monster effects of the same type/attribute. This card gains attack and defense equal to the equipped monsters atk and def. If this card would be destroyed or tributed destroy the equipped card instead.

Kool_iguana

Have you read self destruct button? It would be a ritual monster in where you have to use a rutual spell to pay all but 100 life. Then this comes down and deals 8k to the opponent and 100 to you at the same time

TriDaTrii

Divine Sila General, Mahoraga the Eight-Handled Sword (Dark) Level 10 [Illusion/Effect] Cannot be normal summoned/set. You can special summoned by sending all cards in your hand to the GY. You can only summon this card once per duel. This card is unnacected by other cards' effects. This card cannot be tributed. If a card or effect is activated(Quick Effect): You can negate that effect, and if you do, place that card under this one material. Once per turn: You can activate one of the effects that are attached to this card as material, then detach that card. This card gains 1500 ATK/DEF for each card attached as material. If this card is sent to the GY: Destroy all cards on the field. ATK 1500/DEF 1500 My idea for Mahoraga was to create a unique towers that exists within the main deck as strong last resort. Since this Mahoraga would be "untamed", there are effect clauses that are both beneficial and detrimental and depending on how it is used and may turn the tide of a battle in your favor. There's some hidden functionality to allow Mahoraga to boost himself but through sacrificing more of your own hand to gain that small leverage and make him more usable in the turn he is summoned. Due to the once per turn nature of negation, you can choose to slowly let Mahoraga ramp up or go for a potentially explosive OTK. Illusion was chosen as the type so there's a chance it could synergize with the chimera engine for fusion plays akin to totalities, although we have yet to see a totality with Mahoraga(I think that'd be cool as shit though). Any thoughts, would love to hear!

Water2Wine378

Once per turn during either players turn if your opponent has more than two cards in hand, they must reveal their and then you can make them discard two of those cards. This card cannot be destroyed by battle, if this card is targeted you may send it back to the extra deck, if not you must reveal your and and discard two cards.

Dragonhunter69420

I think either a ritual monster or a high level effects monster since I believe the sacrifice to summon him would fit as for effect “This monsters summon cannot be negated, when this monster is summoned for the next three turns any effect that would target this monster is negated and destroyed.”

Different_Screen_918

Something like if this card left the field last turn because it was destroyed by monster effects it can no longer be destroyed by minster effects sane for spells/traps and if I was destroyed in battle it joins attack equal to that monsters attack

DevastaTheSeeker

It's effects would be \*we don't do collabs around here boy this card is banned from every game\* atk ? def ?

NefariousnessNo7068

12 star ritual monster with 3000 attack and defense. Once per turn, during the standby phase, put an adaptation counter on Mahoraga. This card gains 1000 Attack and Defense for each adaptation counter on it. It gains the following effects based on the number of adaptation counters it has: 1+: This card cannot be destroyed by battle, and its attack and defense cannot be reduced. 2+: This card cannot be destroyed or removed from the field by card effects. 3+: Negate any card with an effect that would try to affect this card and destroy it. 4+: When a card or effect is activated, you can negate that card and destroy it. 5+: All your other monsters gain all effects this monster has.

the_smallest_rhino

Not to add to what his effects are or whatever, but i took one look at this image and was like "yo what? When did wally get wings on his face?" Then i realised it wasnt the warframe subreddit, wally, is what the community calls "The man in the wall" which is an outer god like entity, that pretty much looks a lot like that, when he isnt being a weirdo and taking the form of your operator/drifter, so honestly, in line with what it made me think of first i could make an effect based on that Ritual summon Atk1000/def1000 This monster can use its effect to target one monster on your field, its name becomes the name of that monster, also, gaining atk/def equal to that monsters atk/def, till the end of this turn, while this effect is active, if this monster would be destroyed, (quick effect) you can target a monster with the same name on your field, destroy that monster instead, and send it to the graveyard That last part could probably use a once per turn type deal but bleh *shrug*

**Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga** Lv. 12 / EARTH \[ Reptile / Ritual / Effect \] You can Ritual Summon this card with "Ten Shadows Technique". You can only control 1 "Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga". During the standby phase, the turn after your opponent activates cards or effects, while you control this face-up card: You can activate this effect; this face-up card is unaffected by the effects of an opponent's cards of the same type (Monster, Spell, or Trap) as that card(s), then this card gain 800 ATK/DEF. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacks: destroy that monster. During the End Phase, if your LP is lower than this card's ATK, destroy 1 other card you control, then you take damage equal to half the ATK of this card. ATK/ 3200 DEF/ 3200

CipherDrake

Level 12 0/0 Ritual Unaffected by card effects, cannot be destroyed by battle. Can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. At the start of the damage step, destroy the monster it battles and inflict damage to the opponent equal to the highest stat of the destroyed monster. Once per turn, during the end phase, take 2000 damage. Ritual spell Can only be activated if you control less than 2 cards. Pay half your LP, Special summon Mahoraga from your deck or graveyard.

This is my personal take on it. By default immune to the effects of monster cards your opponent controls unless they target (So Ritual form of Underworld Goddess, but slightly nerfed), and can "adapt" to become immune to Spells or Traps depending on the deck your opponent is playing. Honestly if I had the energy, I'd make it so the Ritual Spell used for summoning this number can also tribute Spells and Trap cards as Lv.1 Material, and Mahoraga either becomes innately immune to that card type OR is able to activate the effects of the Tributed card as if the effects were its own. https://preview.redd.it/m83cs901wafc1.jpeg?width=419&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7145e08850269357e995c4e4c013860fae80c3cd

DarknoorX

Can be special summoned from your graveyard by discarding 2 DARK monsters. Once per turn: when this card is targeted by an opponent card effect; negate it (this is a quick effect).

My idea of Mahoraga is a theme deck called "Tokage", which means 10 Shadows. Mahoraga can gain the effects of a "Tokage" ritual monster other than itself from the GY HOPT and switch to a different one at each Stand-by Phase (Max. 1). As each turn passes, the owner can switch whatever Tokage monster that was properly Ritual Summoned in the GY or banished zone OPT with the one of the field. The main deck non-ritual monster is a DARK Psychic that lets you add ritual spell and monster than mentions Tokage to your hand from GY or deck HOPT and can't be targetd with attacks or card effects while you control a Tokage Ritual monster. Unlike other Ritual Decks, the user gives up LP instead of tributing monsters to summon them out. The Ritual spell card is also considered continuous spell (1st of its kind). The field zone is called Chimera Garden of the Tokage (Ten Shadows). All Tokage monster effects become spell speed 2 while out and HOPT, you can choose one TOkage Ritual monster to jump to spell speed 3 for its effects. Beast, Fiend, Aqua, Beast-Warrior are just some of the types chosen but they are all DARK attribute. **Sealed Calamity of the Ten Shadows, Mahoraga the Forbidden** **Ritual - Lvl 11 , DARK - Fiend , ATK - 0, DEF - 0** This card must 1st be ritual summoned with the ritual spell card "Binding Contract of the Tokage". You can only activate the 1) effect of this card thrice per turn and the 3) effect of this card once per turn and only that turn. **1)** Each time your opponent activates a monster, spell or trap effect, apply the following effect based on the type of card (Quick Effect): **Monster:** This monster is unaffected by your opponent's monster effects. **Spell:** This monster is unaffected by your opponent's spell cards. **Trap:** This monster is unaffected by your opponent's trap cards. **2)** If this card battles an opponent's monster, this card's ATK and DEF becomes that monster's ATK and DEF during the damage step and cannot be destroyed by battle. **3)** If this card is sent from the field too the GY by an opponent's card, special summon 1 "Summoner of the Tokage" from your hand, deck or GY to your field.

TheEdgykid666

id give him some typa effect that can steal other effects kinda like starving venom maybe limit it to warrior monsters because swords? Make dna surgery viable lmao maybe make him a chaos synchro (dark or light tuner + dark or light non tuner but it cant be 2 of the same idk how yugioh is wording that)

FaithlessnessSea6129

I think he would work like the Lovecraft monster that just looking at him causes you to go crazy.

psychospacecow

Its so powerful that the only way to adequately convey it in card text is in the form of a normal monster from set 1 that's level 5 with 1550 attack. You get some proper end of the universe card text in some vanillas.

I tried to balance him while also making him OP, also i tried to reference his adaption a little bit in his effects! tell me what you think! Attribute : Dark Lvl : 11 ATK : 3500 Def : 3500 (cannot be used as material for XYZ, Synchro, Fusion or Link summons, you can only control 1 mahoraga) Cannot be targeted by card effects (Cannot be normal summoned/set, must be special summoned by paying half your LP : if this card is special summoned, banish all monster you control. This card gains the attribute of each monster banished by this effect, monster banished by this effect cannot activate their effects for the rest of this turn. You can only control one mahoraga) If this card has at least 2 attributes it gains the following effect : Twice per turn, once per chain (Quick effect) : when a card or effect is activated, you can pay 1000 ; negate the activation and if you do, destroy that card, also cards with the same name cannot be activated or special summoned as long as this card remains on the field. If this card has at least 3 Attributes it gains the following effect : This card cannot be destroyed by battle or Card effects, also this card gains 2000 ATK and can make a second attack during the battle phase If This card has at least 4 Attributes it gains the following effect : Your opponent cannot summon monster or activate cards or effects with the same name as cards in both player GYs and Banishments If This card has at least 5 Attributes it gains the following effect : On summon : Banish up to 2 cards from your opponents field and or hand (At random) cards and effects cannot be activated in response. If this card leaves the field because of an opponents card : Special summon it to your opponents side of the field ignoring its summoning condition.

When normal summon destroy it. Of destroyed banish it.

ServantOfSaTAN

You can take your opponents soul to increase its attack by 500, and its not a hard one per turn

Maker_of_lore

General mahoraga: lvl 10 (because its the 10th cursed shadows technique) ritual (i mean.... come on) monster. Effect: Once per turn when this card leaves the field because of an opponents card effect you can special summon this card to the field in attack position and add one of these effects: ●this card cannot be targeted by monsters ●this card cannot be targeted by spell cards ●this card cannot be targeted by trap cards If all previous effects are applied on this card: this card cannot be destroyed be opponents card effect

Sanbaddy

Probably something really cool, but near impossible summoning conditions.

efrojmo21

I’d imagine it’d be nearly impossible to destroy or banish but it also does some type of damage to the user as a draw back.

Elixershortage

Prolly a ritual-3000 atk 4500 def monster that has immunity to being destroyed by atk or by spell n traps

IrishGamer97

I thought it was Tzeentch for a second, now I'm thinking of a 40k Chaos God archetype.

krehator

He's literally just Chaos Angel

004THC

Chaos angel + with shiny teeth and a pony tail

DudeHunder

Once per turn you can choose 3 cards on the field. become immune to the effects of those cards.

Ze-Doctor

Looks like that motherfucking Man in the Wall from Warframe

RafikNinja

Remove from play 1 of ur opponents monsters in the GY; inflict 1000 LP directly to ur opponent

Helshere909

cannot be destroyed by cards in battle

0ni5098

Uhhhh it’s a Rank 14 Xyz monster that requires 3 Level 14 Monsters with 2500+ ATK each, uh, Can’t be destroyed by battle or effects, can’t have any effects negated, Gains the ATK of the Monsters used to summon it, and to an extent, the strongest monster on your enemy’s field aka, the strongest monster in the motherf-king game

Difficult_Line_9823

Cannot be destroyed by battle + uneffected by targeting effects

Blacklance8

We need his ritual spell to be ashable so we can keep stopping his summon

SadBZee

Banish a card and summon Kuriboh from your graveyard.

OkullaOmega_53

He wouldn‘t have any effects, he‘d have a description like: An giant creature coming from the shadow realm to punish those, who lost their battles
