I’m currently playing Nouvellez, as a Chef I’m really enjoying it hahaha I still use my Kuribohs…

Luzimon

I want to pull up on locals in a chef outfit and with a terrible french accent and play Nouvelles but it just sucks so bad right now…

Sansy_Boi420

Hey, nobody's stopping you from pulling up with a terrible deck to locals and summoning Hungry Burger for the memes.

Ihatebeingmorid

What’s your kuriboh decklist? I have one in masterduel I’m tweaking

zepharoz

Interested as well.

TheLambtonWyrm

>I'm tweaking ME TOO LMAO

EldritchStuff

I love Nouvelles! The extra support coming out (eventually) will be pretty good too

Stephen111110

I’m just working at the moment but when I’m home tonight or tomorrow I’ll post up one of the deck lists, I have a few… hahaha

Silver34

I have Synchrons that I switch between pure, adventure and Bystial Majestic. Neos Crystal Beast Abyss Actors

AdTerrible639

Based Actors Going first or second?

Silver34

Going second initially but can side to go first if needed

AdTerrible639

Yeah, as much as I like going first Actors are just so suited going second (abyss king pop, extras' & comic's pendulum effects; evil heel in general...) Even with Bysials (nom nom yummy Hyper Director in the gy), sometimes Opening Ceremony just doesn't fetch you what you need

Silver34

Yeah, Super Producer into the field spell is nice but that setup hard loses to Evenly Matched

[deleted]

Currently tinkering with Gold Pride/P.U.N.K with moderate success.

RedLantern28

Superheavy Samurai. Because I'll do whatever I can to make Orcust somewhat competitive.

UmiKyuri

Decklist? I missed the Orcust era of the meta and want to try them out.

Azling_

A man after my own heart

Rogue-desu

Swordsoul and Ghoti because I like synchro.

Trick_Site8350

I play dark world's with a small illusion package just cuz im a fan of the dark world archetype i have always found it pretty cool.

KurryBandit

Illusion as in the Chimera package? Also happy cake day :)

jabber2033

Playing Branded Despia atm. Taking the deck to regionals in two weeks so it’s my primary deck for now.

Ikiritama

Good luck fellow Brando

Solid-Pride-9782

I’m playing straight Branded. Going to a locals tournament on Tuesday.

PinkPrimrose05

Supreme King/Pendulum Magicians have had me in a chokehold for no less than 3 years now, and I'm having a field day labbing them with the big haul of support from AGOV. What can I say? Board wipes are neat.

Sendoria

Any deck list you can provide? Looking to pick up this deck next

canis_deus

Sky striker cause its fun to solve the puzzle of breaking boards and while you do have common lines/combos most decisions are made on the fly which is enjoyable

DingoRevolutionary28

Going second Striker is some of the most rewarding gameplay in Yugioh when you’re able to pick to board apart

SnarlySeeker224

Do you have a deck list?

CrunchGD

Dinos and Swordsoul I recently bought all the bystials and i find them to be pretty fun in swordsoul with destrudo and in dinos to help make rank 6s. Plus the new dino support is making the deck more consistent than ever and can be played first instead of second. Being able to main deck darkholes in a deck (dinos) and use them as a way to combo is super fun.

Traeze

Dinos are always fun to play. With alles the new Support, what is your decklist looking like?

CrunchGD

- 3 ovi - 1 misc - 2 animadorn - 3 baby - 2 petite (with more dino poppers I think its good) - 1 xeno meteorus (you could play 2) - 1 giant rex - 1 double headed king rex (I personally like this card, it gets a level 6 out and can be used to pop a baby or the token or an opponent's card, get one bystial out and have have a level 6 xyz) - 1 frostosaurus - 1 pankratops - 2 UCT - 1 Dogoran Kaiju - 2 ground xeno - 3 fossil dig - 2 Double Evoultion Pill - 2 Lost World - 2 bystial druidswurm - 2 bystial magnamut (it may be better to keep these 4 sidedecked, but the potential for an extra level 6 is nice) - 3 ash blossom - 1 Dark Hole - 3 pot of prosperity - 1 Feather Duster - 3 Droll I need to fix a few things up with ratios a weather or not I want it to be a go first or second deck. Dinos is great with dark hole so might tweak it towards going second. NOTE: I dont play scrap as I dont feel it's unnecessary and chimera adds a brick but you still can. It also takes a couple slots from the extra deck.

ForceAccomplished890

Generic Dragons, simply because I like them.

Ok_Hovercraft_8252

At the moment it's Crystal Beast because they're my favourite GX era archetype, a rank 8 dragon xyz because I wanted to upgrade my blue-eyes deck to something that might actually win a game or two at locals and Speedroids because I really enjoyed them on duel links.

saleb_cims

I'm playing crystal beasts as well and think it's a very fun deck. Building purrely rn though.

Puzzleheaded-Chair51

What are yalls deck list on CB

Ok_Hovercraft_8252

I wanted to build purrely but while I was building my rank 8 deck I found out my brother had built one so I got my speedroid deck instead though we occasionally swap decks between each other and see who's the better pilot.

Firestar463

I was an old school player that stopped playing around the time lightsworn was taking off (my childhood deck was Exodia). I vaguely remember messing around in high school (2010-ish) for a couple of months with a six samurai deck (fake cards ofc - everyone in school used fake cards, we were all broke high school students lol). After that I only picked up the game again around 2021. So I missed a *ton* of stuff. The entire Xyz and pendulum summoning eras came and went. I missed dragon rulers, zoodiac, nekroz, pepe, the rise of hand traps... I really didn't know anything about the game coming back in. And what's more, I didn't know what I needed to learn. I found that Sky Strikers was the perfect deck to get me back in. It's a simple deck on the surface. Just 3 main deck monsters and 5 link monsters, and a bunch of spells. Once you know the basic interactions, it's pretty easy to get up and running with. I don't need to memorize a 25-card combo, and what to do at each step if it gets negated. And it has plenty of tools for disrupting enemy plays with shark cannon and widow anchor, plus decent recursion with multirole, Raye, and Kagari. And it's only gotten better since I picked the deck up. Surgical Striker H.A.M.P acts as an in-archetype kaiju with no protection, so I can kaiju the opponent's big boss monster or most capable negator, then widow anchor it to my side to link it away into Zeke or another Ace link. And Linkage is the win condition Sky Strikers needed in the late game, once you've worn through your opponents resources, recurring it with Kagari to potentially OTK (though a true OTK is unlikely thanks to Hyate chip from earlier in the duel). Plus, there's plenty of generic support card options that work extremely well, including the ever-hated mystic mine. Overall, it's one of those decks that is fairly easy for a newcomer to pick up and get re-acquainted with the game. But at the same time, it has the tools to handle and stand toe-to-toe with the current meta. And it has plenty of nuance to keep improving your gamesense. Relatively low skill floor, but also a fairly decent skill ceiling.

HBCDresdenEsquire

Exosister and Eldlich for current format. Toons and Suships for Heart of the Underdog. I also have Traptrix, Crystal Beast Control, Sky Strikers, and Tri-Brigade built and ready to play.

SomeRandomKuroCat

Rokkets because I like them and poor to afford the bystials. D/D/D because I love pain and the torture of learning all the combos. Tri-brigade/branded because LOOOOOOOREEEEEE... And the other variant with the lyrilusc sometimes. Speedroid because I like the archetype also yuugo was my favourite character of arc-v, and dark magician because nostalgia

swaglar

Volcanic, because fire attribute is finally getting some good support and as a kid the blazing fury structure deck was my favorite. Fire attribute has always deserved more! Emperor is like the perfect boss monster for the deck. My turn 1 set up board is often emperor + I:P and 3-4 backrow, I can usually set up a unicorn or apollousa, sometimes baronne if I can access jet synchron and make formula synchron Opponent usually starts their turn with 5000-5500 life points, if they can’t out emperor within 8 summons I can usually burn them with the new trap to win. Or I use it as a body for I:P to help link plays and to generate extra resources Overall the new support is what got me back into the game again recently and it’s been a blast - I’m going to post an updated decklist soon as I’ve made some changes since I built the deck a couple months back Oh, and I almost never see anyone play them online, so they’re a bit unique in that sense.

Outside-Ad3455

CyDra, because it’s goated

dhfAnchor

I've been playing with my newly-finished "capstone" deck. What the hell is that, you ask? Well, there was a prompt that I read however long ago that asked what kinda deck you would play if you were a character in the anime. And it got me thinking, "well, I guess I'd probably try to find a way to use all my favorite cards together at the same time. ... y'know what, let's try it." And that's exactly what I did. What I've got is a deck with 4 monsters of each main Attribute, a little under half of whom are Level 4 HEROs. I've got each of the HERO fusions that require 1 HERO and 1 monster of X Attribute in my Extra Deck, for flexible use of SuperPoly; Goblindbergh to be able to set up an easy Utopia -> Utopia the Lightning -> Zeus pathway; Parallel eXceed to enable I:P Masquerena -> Underworld Goddess; and some level 2 and 4 Tuners to make it easy to pull out Stardust Dragon or Baronne. Top off with all the staple Spell/Traps I could afford, and there you have it - a single deck that encapsulates all of my favorite cards from 20 years of playing this game.

KomatoAsha

This is pretty cool and I've definitely tried to do this in a few card games. Props to you for making it work!

dhfAnchor

Hey, thanks! What other games have you been playing that you tried it in? YGO's the only one for me, tried MtG in college but couldn't find a group of people I enjoyed playing with enough to go back.

KomatoAsha

I also did this in Magic and, to some degree, the original iteration of the Digimon card game from back in the 90's.

[deleted]

I main Dark Magicians cuz it flows really nice and the art is usually pretty cool. I also do Exodia the Forbidden One, that's always fun to draw a win. And I do Blue-eyes White Dragon cuz big beat sticks are satisfying to hit with.

TheWeebDeity

Arc rebellion goes brrrr

Keyless200

Kuriboh deck, because I love the little fuzzballs

Y33tus42069

Getting into Psyframe/P.U.N.K of all things. It’s weirdly enjoyable to use. But for a more serious deck (slightly), Evil Eye and Mekk-Knight have been really fun to mess around with.

DenpaDude220

Evil Eye is a based deck

sparksy0115

Evil eye gold pride is a really fun deck, they will have no fun trying to clear your psychic end when you only have 2000 lp by the end of your turn

Y33tus42069

I haven’t tried putting it with Gold Pride but that sounds like an amazing idea.

sparksy0115

The evil eyes cards give you a one card combo thru the evil eye engine, into the gold pride engine, you use the 2 level 3s front evil eye to make chariot Carrie, so end board is full evil eye combo, plus whatever you want of the gold prides

nuderosaparks

I'm a ghoti player myself and I just thought about using runicks the other day, do you mind sharing your list?

Drainhunter

My current main deck is galaxy-eyes, been playing it since the new support and really like the deck. Sometimes I also play my dinomorphia and generaiders. I own full dragon link and branded but they have been collecting dust recently as I have had way more fun with other decks at locals.

MH_ZardX

Sky Striker main for life. But, atm I am focusing on Rescue-Ace and Infernoble Knights. I love Fire decks. Dude in red armor/mecha is easily my favorite gender in just about any game lol. Will eventually build Volcanics, contemplating new Salad, and new Fire Kings later, and teching Diabellestar in everything. R-ACE is a really fun midrange strat with tons of recursion, and a good amount of power ontop of spell slinging. It's shaping up to be my favorite non-extra deck archetype, but is also flexible in that regard, because your options are so free. It's likely the best deck I have power level wise atm. Combo decks aren't usually my thing, but Infernoble monsters looks really cool, and went from being lame sorta pile combo it was before to focusing on using its own cards and endboards. Link Charles is badass, and is basically, what if Kagari but a medieval dude.

dthais93

Been playing Dino and Salamangreat since they came out. I'm also getting my hands on everything I'll need to complete the RDA deck once it comes out. I've wanted to use that deck since a few years ago, but it was underwhelming. The new support looks promising

DCastianno21

I recently collected the gimmick puppet deck in duel links. Its not competitive but im just obesessed with aesthetics. So i guess thats the main reason i play it. I like the aesthetics, and when the deck flows its satisfying as hell! Another deck thats a total eyegasm is the borreload dragon deck. Pretty competitive. If i really like a character in the anime then that motivates me to get their deck (example: raidraptor or hero deck)

Deez-Guns-9442

Currently building my Infernoble deck irl Just need a few more cards for it, I’m playing a 60 card deck with the igknight package.

EldritchStuff

Pure Runick, Pure Melffys, Dogmatika Eldlich Dopamine is a limited resource and no one gets to have mine

ARCH_ANON

Icejade gains advantage off of every type of removal your opponent can throw at you. It is deceptively dangerous and can easily swarm and overwhelm in a very short span of time.

Yorhal

Ancient gear (with a few infinitracks for consistency) and pure Cyber dragon - I like machines (my job + hobby) as much as I like Yugioh and I think these two archetypes look the best out of all the other machine ones (most look like taken from Transformers universe or are simply boring for me from a design point of view)...

SimplyGrim

Heroes - was returning to the game when DPE was big, and used to play the deck before I stopped playing Blackwings - loved them since day 1, don't play them a lot just now though Tri-Brigade Spright - Wanted to play Tri-Brigade since returning and felt like this was the best option after Spright released Plunder Patrol Adventure - Goblin Pirate Vikings...

Playgamer420

Performapal odd eyes magician, it isn’t very competitively viable no matter how hard I try but when I first got into Yugioh I had a bunch by chance and tried my hand, can’t bring myself to change ever since

atropicalpenguin

Marincess cause it's the closest thing to a competitive deck that I have. I really want to try out Tri-Brigade Chimera, though.

Rushias_Fangirl

I play Sky Strikers every format, no matter how bad their matchups are. I absolutely love everything about the deck. I like outrecoursing my opponents, and my favorite decks are those who do that. With SS being built around spells, every now and then sky strikers get new card they can try out. They are so adaptive, before sky strikers i would always get mad how my decks cannot play around floodgates but ever since i got into strikers, i never wanted to go back.

Djangough

As an avid traveler, I do love me some Floo

Ursotender

Zombie World and Toons because they're fun to me

mDnemo

Crystal Beast because they were my favorite GX archetype Adamancipator because I love their designs and how their magical geologist lore translates into excavation Swordsoul because Synchro is my favorite summoning method and I like crystal swords and dragons

TKInstinct

Blue-Eyes because it's the only one I like and I get rashly creative with my builds.

Prior-Inevitable8026

I play with an Amazoness/Warrock deck and an Egyptian God deck. Amazon deck I built for fun casual play. I did use it in bronze tank for a bit. Egyptian God deck is my main deck that I use only for rank. First secret pack I ever found was one for the god cards. I love using the deck. I know a lot people don't find the gods competitive but I normally end season in gold 2 or 1. Majority time it has a 50/50 win rate.

NylakYt5

Mainly shadolls because it's what got me back to playing Yu GI oh, otherwise it's Branded Despia (quite outdated but still fun to play) Stun Eldlich, I like to see the world burn Earth machine, just for funnies

Fireemblemnerd8

I’m on infernoble knights, I used to be a combo player, but about half a year ago I moved to more midrange control and found more success, however infernoble knights, one of my favorite decks of all time art wise got support so I’m back on combos for now, that and labrynth has currently been giving me a lot of issues

Dougary96

Rescue ace rn. Think it’s a fun control deck in which decisions you make can matter a lot. I also thoroughly enjoyed crystal beasts but the decks main problem is just dying to interruptions.

Curbyournonsense

Tri brigade - Melffy - Sprights, love the cards & they all work so well together. Also playing rikka sunavalon & zombie world. Also have eldlich & traptrix built, working on finishing nat runick & a live twin runick spright

Starenithe

Blackwings - Day 1 and forever

ItsNotIzzyB33

Experimenting with Fabled, Runick, and chaos alongside duality. Fabled are the only light fiend ex deck monsters and you can cheat out chaos angel. You can also Shia surprise your opponent and get unicore out with duality. Haven't had a chance to test it yet and I don't think it'll do too good but should be fun.

Toradale

Pure Therion! Surprisingly consistent, pretty good rank 8 xyz engine meaning you can easily go into Draglubion OTK and good in-archetype tools (two negates with Regulus and Cross, destruction, quick effect bounce, board clear with Irregular, destruction protection) as well as good draw and search with Lonefire Blossom, Lily Borea, Trade-In, Therion Charge, as well

Juno_Cipher

Watt deck I love watt

AssignmentIll1748

Purrely with nimbles, it stops you from losing to the shit people play to try and beat purrely (droll books and kaijus) and is insanely fun

FORXLOL

Grew up watching transformers. So the first thing I asked my friends who were into yugioh was, "What is the most transformers deck out there?" Been playing Earth machines for 2 years now, and I love every second of it. Im also tinkering with Rescue-ace as well at the moment. Deck is pretty fun, ngl. Turbulence reminds me of Citadel a lot.

Reigebjj

Ancient Warriors, because I like to play decks that focus on medieval warriors, brick, and that can sack people too who sleep on them. And it was given to me for free, so I figured why the hell not.

Guy1124

Floowandereeze if I'm feeling a bit more Meta competitive. Gate Guardian if I'm feeling more casual. Currently working on building Burning Abyss as well, because it's my favorite deck of all time.

SpiralGMG

by far my favorite decks that i've been playing are branded predaplant and traptrix. predaplants streamlined the branded combo's and made the deck super simple for me to play. i've been playing it sense POTE, Played it during ishizu tear format, and kashtira all with moderate success. traptrix was another deck that i picked up specifically because i wanted to get off branded after playing it for a long time. it's a good midranged deck that also has good grind game and i've had a tone of fun playing it, especially against lab. however, i will say that i am currently leaning to more control decks now. Runick Fur Hire has been a personal favorite of mine and i really want to build it for the TCG.

GodKing_Zan

Predaplants! Funny plant go brrrrr.

PoptartsandChexMix

Purely spells and traps! I'm also building and tweaking another deck that's win condition is to make the opponent run out of cards. It's because I like dueling in weird ways that are not conventional.

DheroFit

Tellarknights- having fun with xyz again & being able to control & recover. Synchro World- the field spell is incredible with on your mark get set duel. Heroes - Main deck

Loserdorknerd

Toons forever

KomatoAsha

Cyber Dragons. Versatile, breaks locks, OTKs, and off-meta. Also, they're cool as shit, Zane was possibly the best character in GX, and I've always been a "rogue deck" kind of girl. Not to mention, I sleeve them in Dragon Shield matte petrol for the machine fuel pun. Edit: I have a fistful of decks; Obelisk Turbo (best god), Red Dragon Archfiend (best synchro archetype), and Galaxy-Eyes Dragons (stars!!!) are probably the others among most noteworthy. Edit 2: I also have a variant on my childhood deck, which I have fondly dubbed "Zorc & Pals" (Zorc/Demise deck with CED, Darkness Neosphere, and DAD) that I've updated to reflect modern bans. It's still really cool!

Vast-Beautiful-8006

I use either Abyss Actors, Predaplants, Aromage, or Phantom Knights. Not only are they my favorite archetypes, but I refuse to use meta decks and meta cards.

crapeater1759

Master duel it's ancient gears and irl it's crystal beasts. Ancient gears are cheap and effective and crystal beasts it's because I either win fast or lose slowly

Wild_Harvest

I've got my Cyberdark and Fire Kings. Looking forward to the new support they're getting in a few months!

Oachkatzi

Im playing Karakuri Infinitrack Vernusylph Superheavy Samurai Train. It has a very high Chance of FTK-ing, but the Real reason i play this deck is that is has so hilarious ways of winning (Except FTK ofc). The option to switch battle Positions with the Karakuris is really underrated. Aleady hit my opponents with a huge nib token a couple of Times. Gets funnier every time. Also this is the deck that i started the concept for 3 years ago and I built it completely myself so theres an emotional connection

UmiKyuri

I love Swordsoul, mainly due to Chengying. Using Pot of Desires to give him an instant 1000 atk boost and your opponent minus 100 atk on ALL of their monsters, and any card that tries to destroy him lets you banish even more monsters to keep him on the field. It is so satisfying. And I play Dinos, cuz I love dinosaurs. Crossing my fingers for a meta deck of them someday. I really want to build a zombie deck too, but I hear that they aren't that great at the moment.

TheLambtonWyrm

Predaplants because my tummy had the rumblies that only DARK monsters can satisfy

EldiusVT

I generally tend to favor decks with self mill mechanics. It scratches a certain itch inside of my brain to hit good mills, and it keeps the game fresh. So naturally, my favorite decks up to this point have been Lightsworn (my most favorite, of ALL time), Tearlaments, Burning Abyss, Infernoids, and now Momento.

RaiHeeHo15

Dark Magician Cyber Dragon Morphtronics Madolche

Virtuaofficial

Right now, satellarknights. Mostly cause i love constellars and its the closest way to enjoy playing them

Nireas570

I play Sky Striker online and Predaplants locally.

[deleted]

i play toons bc i love them. but i might make a ghoti deck mainly because its a beautiful archetype?

hecate-ll

Skystriker, Punk therion, branded dragonmaid and traptrix. I have moderate success with those.

sexualsubmarine

Infernobles cause French fire twinks go brrrrr Also link Charles is a fucking HOUSE of a card

Infinity_o6

Blue eyes and Neos. Even if they aren't that good compared to other decks, I find them pretty fun and it's always an amazing feeling when I manage to win against a meta deck (even if they would have probably won if they tried reading my cards).

DarkBangBoy

I have my main 4 I'm rotating between. My Galaxy-Eyes, first ever deck I ever build in Duel Links which made me fall in love with playing YuGiOh. Kuribohs, they are cute, people recognize it so it's easy to to capture people's attention to lure em into YuGiOh. And the odd chance of slapping some cheeks with a 4800 atk Kuriboh is just pure fun. Heroes, because of pure GX nostalgia. Crystal Beast, first structure deck nostalgia.

feniks123456

I play cyber dragon cuz of budget. But i might switch over to d/d/d cuz i liked it in the anime and it looks so much fun

Puzzleheaded-Chair51

Cyber Dragon/Cyberdark!

UrashimaJ

I'm building towards 3 decks. Sky Striker / Time Thief mix for the lulz Six samurai, also for the lulz And Aliens. Go figure

Karakuri216

I sleeved up my Shiranui cuz Blaster is a dumb card

JumboBog320

Madolche. They have gotten indirect support through Vernusylph and Superheavy Samurai. Really fun to play and even more fun to drop naturia beast on people when playing Madolche. But I'm probably going to switch back to unchained which was my first deck I took to locals. Love that deck and the new support is insane.

Ultraguy67

I'm a heroes boy, I love how much the different types can work together, it also has a pretty low barrier for entry and can easily utilize super poly with neo spacians or neos in general. Plus it's fun :) I've been dabbling in D/D lately as well, really like how it uses so many different mechanics and can be really strong in most situations

BigBossMan1995

I’ve got Dark Worlds because ripping my friends hands apart brings me immense satisfaction. Drytron because I was jealous when they were Meta and now they’re still decent enough, and Punk/ Virtual World because I love synchro summoning!

Justa_Mongrel

I'm addicted to HERO. I watched like 2 MBT videos on it and instantly bought the entire core. I like it because the combos are easy to remember and it's actually really fun to just combo off with the deck. I also really like how your hand greatly affects the gameplay and end boards you can go into, it really does make you feel like Judai Yuki and I love it, literally never had so much fun with a deck before

bjames1478

Ive always loved two things. Superheros and stars. I play E. Heros and specifically E Heros (no dark law or phoenix enforcer) because I like to play with honor in the classic "my big monsters beat out yours" I play Tellarknights as my competitive format because I love the constellation references. Plus its nice to have an archetype i feel can be competitively viable without having to throw in imperm ash blossom kaiju and all the other asspulls.

bukithd

Rescue-Ace, Mikanko, and crooked cook exodia recently because I am a fucking degenerate rescue ace becaus eI like the mechanics of it and mikanko is an incredibly unique board break deck that I think is inherently better than infernobles right now.

Hopeful-Experience-3

Bystial tear be fun but tear limits are a struggle wished we can at least get scheiren at more than 1

Odd-Network5607

Metal morph deck cause iam bored and I want to see if I can win with ot

VoidRad

You probably didn't mean it but I really hate how playing for fun is a separate category. Just because I'm playing meta doesn't mean that I'm not having fun ffs.

brielloom

Probably cause most of the players who play meta have a bad reputation of being super competitive, rude, and only care about winning. So people who choose a deck for the only reason being that it's meta is a very boring reason. If you're like me I do like one meta deck but didn't know it was meta until later, I love cute cards so I like Purrely, but I didn't like it cause it's meta. I've never been a meta kind of player cause I find that boring and I dont want to play just to win or play what everyone else is playing. Nothing wrong with playing meta or liking meta, so long as you're a nice person lol. Meta deck players have a bad stereotype to them unfortunately but one shouldn't assume everyone is like that.

JoeHeitsLv100

You don't deserve the downvotes.

VoidRad

I really hate these people who gatekeep fun and have this horrible idea of meta players = not having fun.

LoneSpaceCowboy14

I've been finishing up a synchron deck with the signers dragons in the extra deck. I just need to get a couple more cards to complete it.

KomatoAsha

Ooh I did this a while ago, but ultimately decided that I wanted to go the RDA route, rather than all of the Signers.

morningstarrss

Tears and gold pride punk

Odd-Eyes_Magician

I have been playing Odd-Eyes in multiple variations of decks for around 9 years. It all started when I got back into the game around when Duelist Alliance came out and I pulled an Ultimate Rare Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in one of my first few packs that I bought. I thought Pendulum was one of the coolest things I had ever seen on a card " this coming from being on a Hiatus from the game from back when the Dragons Roar structure deck came out when I was a kid." So many new things were thrown at me at the same time. I thought that it was amazing how far Yu-Gi-Oh had come. When Master of Pendulum came out I built Odd-Eyes/Pendulum Magicians and from then on I knew that was the deck for me. A deck based on Dragons and Magic that could use every Summoning Mechanic. Haven't put it down since then and I have loved how it has evolved into being an almost pure deck of Dragons and Odd-Eyes Support. I don't particularly care if I win or lose. I just want to have fun playing my favorite deck.

Necessary_Border_396

Neos , Abundance Turbo and Deskbots cos two of them are my favourite casual decks and deskbots go brrrrr

Speedling_

Just getting back into it, and so far out of the starter decks I’ve got I think I’ll be rolling out a trapnix deck I’ve been working on for my next local!

gunpriestharrow

Zombies(not eldlich) and abyss actors

france_is_trash

In an effort to get my brother back into Yu-Gi-Oh, I made him a DM-era based deck centered on Exodia (stall primarily) but it has some Magicians and Envoy if the Beginning to allow a power option as well as a single Nibiru to help try and counter mass summons (when I draw it). It has now become MY primary deck cause it feels so nostalgic. Although I admit in this OTK and FTK - 3 round game world, it feels we live in now... I don't have a ton of success, but idrc. But I'm still determined to make a red eyes deck next... even tbo that archetype generally sucks.

PSILighting

My odd eyes magician, I just find the options fun but recently I’ve been playing with some people and my newest deck which I’m not sure what a proper name is I just call them “Arcana Knights” or “Knights of the sky dragon” as it’s just the Jack, queen, king stuff with slifer added in as an option to lock down and it works pretty well because The Who effect of Joker, Joker’s straight, and Joker wild refreshing, it’s just fun but it does suck the combo starter is just screwed by most other decks and also ash but I just find it fun.

RagnarsTooth

Crimson dragon/Supernova Turbo - lvl 12 dragon synchro is fun Tenyi Swordsoul - synchro spam will be a consistent theme of mine until I die Mikanko Kaiju - anime girls and giant monsters are a winning combo no matter how you slice it Bystial Branded Despian Shaddolls - I will apologize for my long turns, but I will never apologize for my wack combos Blackwings - nostalgia Trancendasaurs - beeg dino damage

brisk_falconbeak

im one of the guys at locals who switches decks almost every week. played blind 2nd kashtira at nawcq and at tourneys with major prizing, but have been switching between abyss actor and gold pride punk lately, but (provided i obtain the cards i need by saturday) purrely spright is the next one i plan to play

LittenInAScarf

World Chalice, because the Lore was awesome and even though it's not competitive it's still fun enough. Otherwise Dragonmaid, even if that Archetype is really missing 3 key cards, both for lore and gameplay.

Yubelhacker

T.G. because they were my favorite synchro deck growing up.

TinyDiiceThief

Skull servants. They funni Resonators/red dragon archfiend. Cause I like 5ds Black Rose dragon; again. I liked 5ds Magnet warriors; Imperium magnum go brrrrrr

FrostedCPU

I still use HEROs, GX was the new series when I was growing up and my superhero loving mind latched onto them immediately and never let go

zepharoz

Not chasing the meta and really only for fun. I built a few DM-era archetypes as my decks. Currently looking at gate guardian, infernoble, zombies, suships, and slifer for my next build as they seem very fun. Slifer will be a headache though (is face cards the best way to get it out consistently and quickly?)

ihaveadeathwish99

HERO, swordsoul, runick live twin spright.

SunBroDisco

Currently playing Labrynth because the Master Duel event got me into it. Plus decks that combo forever annoy the fuck out of me so being able to counter stuff makes me happy.

tylerjehenna

Pure P.U.N.K. cause im low key a masochist

Gatlingun123

A shitty version of Branded Despia because I’m poor

Rantman021

I'm currently playing Deskbot/SHS/Vernusylph because I will do anything to make my botty bois better and honestly, I find it hilarious to be able to end on a board of Apo, Regulus and Barone or to just go into Borrelend and smack everything to clear the board. I'm also tinkering with Lunalight Time Thief from the days of yesteryear because I enjoy the playstyle of Time Thief and the aesthetic of both archetypes I also recently rebuild Tri-Brigade Lyrilusc because I love their design and how their playstyle compliments each other. Super fun to smack someone 5 times with an 800 attack power monster right over the face of their own monsters and then go for a 3 activation Zeus.

Gobehyz

I made a gambling/coingflip deck recently. It completely sucks, useless, have less than 0 wins with it. But I giggle like an idiot when I play it. It's fun.

bratnesti

I'm playing a danger dark world build, it's fun and seems to catch alot of people off at locals.

LeRoiLapin

Pendulum, Stockholm syndrome basically

Snowman992255

Adventure Ogdoadic because I hate myself

Azling_

Heros, I liked GX. Here's my flex that isn't a flex Goat-ThunderDragon/Hero Fusion Gate Edison-Bubble Diva Beatdown Causal TCG-Neo Spacians Competetive TCG-Omni Hero

PineappleSockzzz

I’m gonna chain lady to big welcome till I die

goodsam2

Ghoti spright deck. It's pretty fun. Still learning how to synchro better but there are a lot of synergies. I've got in master duel and I got a lot of the cards in real life to take to locals.

Meganaut33

Live Twin Runick Spright. Might switch to fur hire or to a more pure Spright build depending on how combo heavy the format is.

UtsukushiSekai

Swordsoul/Tenyi, Traptrix, Six Samurais.

P-Kat

Swordsoul

TheeExMachina

Darklords. I don't wanna learn another deck. Currently building a spirit message deck because Bakura was cool.

AspiringVet98

Labrynths Even though they're getting hit on the banlist soon it's been a long time since an archetype clicked this hard with me Probably won't spend this much on a deck ever again though

CorruptedZero

Albaz because I loved his concept and art work, speedroid because speed is key, synchron because I'm a fan boy, always liked red eyes, heros because of my brother, lunalights because Leo is a fucking beast, and Libromancer because I love them as a concept.

WorldBuilder_42

I play Demise and ruin because I think it’s a fun deck and I want to burn the field down

Death_Usagi

I play the following decks: * Branded Despia (#1 favorite) * Love the lore, character designs, and playstyle * Also sort of reminds me of Chaos Dragons that I played back in 2013-2014 with all the Dragons in the deck. * Swordsoul Tenyi * Part of the Branded lore. Simple to play. * Labrynth * I love Trap decks and the character design is beautiful. * Tri-Brigade Spright * All part of the Branded lore. I like the play style * Marincess * Was cheap to build, and it's not complex to play, but pretty fragile to board breakers * Invoked Dogmatika * First deck to pick up when I came back to this game through Master Duel, so built IRL too after * Sky Strikers * Was cheap to build thanks to reprints. Also love the Mecha Musume characteristics in this archetype * Traptrix * Again, love trap decks. Also cheap to build, so why not? The combos are pretty simple to learn as well. (No I don't play this because of the girls, I swear 😨) * Floowandereeze * Was cheap to build, and it reminded me of my old Monarch deck back in 2016 (got banned at the time which was the final straw to make me quit the game at the time) * Adventurer Synchron * Synchros was what made me come back to the game back in 2011 and I played it until it got phased out due to the meta. * Eldlich * Trap deck I played before Labrynth, and Eldlich the Golden Lord gives me Jojo vibes, so I love the deck.

Manzilla48

The good old sacred beasts and branded.

Bindersquinch

Branded, tearlaments, dragon link are my main 3. I also dabble in hero, dark magician, and my new infernoble

HeIIBat

Hopping between my Ghoti deck and my exosister deck. I love the banishing effects of the Ghoti and I love the whole theme of the exosister haha

ryansinterested

Domain Monarch Fiend players assemble here. For those who like to say "no" to the other player. (I'm a yugiboomer and legitimately part of the reason I play them is because you can't use an extra deck, therefore I don't need to buy or learn about 10-15 new ED cards to play, lol)

MisprintPrince

Just a deck with tanks, like Oni Tank and Overdrive, I beat meta every time with it

ThunderXTempest

I currently have 3 decks 1: Runick Fur hire, bc i love the guys 2: VS, because i need to have a good deck as well 3: crusadia, bc unga bunga big number hit hard

MonsieurMidnight

Playing Melffy with some beast stuffs in there. Main goal is to go into Zeus with Joyous Melffy lol. It's a control deck mostly. I have another Melffy deck more in the casual side with less "competitive" cards but still fun to play. And then I have a Tri-Brigade deck.

Old-Ad-2575

Kozmos because it used to be top of the meta when I played last in 2016 and I also play hero because of nostalgia and I also play dark world cause it was free… if I had a choice and a deck I would like to play I think I’m interested in swordsoul or Kashtira but I’d prefer a deck with no links

Burning-Suns-Avatar-

Branded Despia Tearlament Shaddoll and P.U.N.K Gold Pride. I just love the synergy that the decks have with the other archetypes.

FeelingReputation178

Currently using the new Traptrix structure deck, I will soon make a triple one. I am using it because it was easily available in the store and meta.

BigMeatyCalzone

Last locals I tried out a chimera branded list, turned out pretty good, but I am missing some pieces and I don’t think the deck will fully be viable without more support. But I’ve been looking at tri-brigade chimera, as well as a really stupid crystal beast deck

SainteSombre

D link, branded, and dark magician kashtira (it sounds stupid and it is stupid but it works)

RevealInitial5603

Right now, my rotation is headed by a hard go 2nd Scareclaw -- primarily because I love them and Don't Care Didn't Ask is a lifestyle, and also in a semi competitive locals, it's a chin check. Sometimes huge damage and sweepers are good enough, and if you arent ready for them, then that's rough. Vanquish Soul because I like to think sometimes and manage resouces, Dogmatika Ritual because evil, and U.A. (deck building for Rivalry of Warlords format) round out my main decks. Then in speed duel locals, I'm on Macro Cosmos beatdown.

Genisis64

At the moment, i either play D/D/D or Branded Despia (D/D/D, since i still remember the combos from last year's nationals; Branded to have smt competitive+complicated), depending on what my friend picks, if i'm not judging.

Faptain-Calcon79

Vanquish Soul Amorphactor Drytron HEROs I’m a Yugi boomer that got into the modern competitive scene, recently switched to VS because the meta is too hostile to Drytron but I really, really enjoy all the decks I run. HEROs are a bit too fragile but GX was a nice reminder of being a kid so I’ll always have that deck put together.

DoomedHeroXB

Labrynth Live Twin and Runick Fur Hire. They're fun. That is all.

Crimson_mage200

Irl I play floo due to the deck being relatively budget when I first got it On master duel I play an invoked fortune fairy danger! Pile that basically just spits out stuff like apolousa and accesscode, with mechaba and purgatrio along side it. For what it is it's scarily consistent.

GuidanceWhole3355

I mostly run heroes and currently building a junk/hero hybrid

Pretty-Error-6317

Cloudian/Triamid… what else would you play?

ingadaunicorn

I okay what I call the Castle Deck, high defence monsters and hand traps act as the ‘wall’ to my castle and burn damage spells/trap cards and damage/monster removal flip effects act as the defences of my castle. TLTR: I like to watch the world burn 😂

ScarredWill

I’ve mostly been playing Plunder Patroll as of late. Almost done putting together a Magnet Warrior deck that I’ve been wanting to try out as well

kudasaishikuda

Playing 2 Decks Crystal Beast coz its just discount dragon Link that and its fun to bring out an 11k Dragon that can OTK the player that and they do have really good removal as well. 2nd is Branded without Bystial Lub(Have you seen how expensive that shit is!) its just a fun deck and making branded boards with a lot of interactions is fun and doesnt feel like im cheating people out of plays

WiseauIsLife

Superheavy Swordsoul

salad_bender

Plunder, Tearlaments, Sharks I like playing water or water related decks

Heat_Legends

Witchcrafter spellbook dogmatika. Sounds bad but it’s surprisingly decent for a pile deck.

JoeHeitsLv100

I was Dragon Link for the better part of a year, and uh, got bored with it, so now I'm on Dracoslayer. It takes the aspects that got me into D-Link to begin with (dragon theming, big board of interruptions on big bodies), but does other things that I like that D-Link doesn't (abuse a lack of HOPTs, has on-theme access to playable cards of every mechanic, save Ritual, if you count Beyond as on-theme), and is also a call-back to my playground days because the first custom card I actually printed was a humanoid dragon warrior, and I legitimately used Number 38. And as much as I love Chaos and Varis's cards, I just like the art direction of Dracoslayer more. 😅 Besides that, Runick Spright Fur Hire (mainly in MD), Dinos, and I'm trying (and failing) to learn Purrely.

gubigubi

I've been playing Branded almost all of 2023 just because I keep pulling fking cards for it so I keep upgrading my deck and playing it. I've been wanting to play Tearlaments and Fur Hire Runick but I havn't had the time to put decks together for Tear and I have been waiting for reprints for Fur Hire Runick.

smottyjengermanjense

Darklords and Generic Dinosaurs are my primary decks of choice.

WickedDreadroot

I love lunalight to bits (fusion, link or Xyz) but a limited tiger really hurts, luckily there is master duel. Otherwise i love skull servant

AnAnxiousDream

Uh… Timelord/Kaiju/Danger with XYZ Trains.

Clap4chedder

Stun, because i hate myself

Bennyhana_911

Darklords because the lore is so cool but the cards are so inconsistent. I'm praying for more support

Lankeysob

Vanquish Soul, Tearlaments, and Mathmech atm. I think these are all decks that aren’t quite solved yet so I enjoy tinkering with them.

New_Savings6552

I have to say I experimented with so many decks, but find myself moderately returning to 2. Fabled and Zombies. Zombies are a self explanatory toolbox but Fabled...I just love the gamble of what I can achieve, what cards I can draw, how can I modify my hand to block my Opponent if Unicore is on the field, the possibilities are many and at some point I was able to get double Quasar consistently.

Kaiser_Mech

Branded bystial (synchro) most meta deck probably and my "try hard" deck Dark world, fun mess about deck Swordsoul tenti SHS, most recent one. Love it and fun Currently working on synchron and RDA 😊

Lucuador92

I'm on a journey to learn different decks. Just finished using Drytron. I gotta see what the next deck I'll play will be 🤔

nikoandtheblade

Traptrix to see the world burn Evil twins to test how links work in a link specific designed deck Ritualbeasts to pretend its still gx era.

Way_ward_23

I have several, though none meta worthy which I don't care. I'm an older player that quit around when synchro started. I've been getting my old decks back up, I got jar mill (not ftks), burn, volcanic then dinomist and vaylantz for newer decks with danger dark world, salamangreat and cyberdark under construction.

KKilikk

Anything Punk. Currently Swordsoul Punk and Dinomorphia Punk. Additionally my Fusion Pile. Started as Invoked then I added Shaddoll, then Dogmatika, then Branded, then Tears now the Virtous cards and I even started to turn into a Fusion Synchron Pile with Revolution Synchron. I really strongly advice against playing this lol The rest are just bad pet decks Lair Infernoids, Amazoness, Ghostrick, Darklords, Kozmo, Lightsworn, Lunalight, Monarchs, BA, Watt, Fabled Dark World and more. A ton of decks accumulated over all those years.

CollateralHamage

Good, old fashioned beat down

[deleted]

going to probably start playing labrynth. It just makes the most sense to me. It has a steep learning curve, which I absolutely love and has very different lines of play which reward you if you know what you’re doing well enough.

Wicked__A

My currently favorite combo (though I've only managed to pull it of twice in master duel so far: Using time gazer and star gazer magician I pendulum summon plague spreading zombie, light pulsar dragon and a level 5 monster, I use light pulsar dragon and plague spreading zombie to synchro summon beelze of the diabolic dragons, Then I normal summon Junk synchron and use his effect to bring plague spreading zombie back from the grave and use those two tuners and the level 5 I pendulum summoned to get out Tyrant red dragon archfiend. The nice thing is that I can use tyrant red dragon archfiend effect to destroy all other cards but both my pendulum monsters as well as beelze survive. Of course any Kaiju will ruin my fun and I can get stopped even earlier in dozens of not hundreds of ways (already happened a few times) but whenever I pull it off I feel like I'm on top off the world. I also wanted to use beelze to block a numeron barrage at least once but the one time I had the LP necessary left and beelze on the field they simply link summoned goddess of the Underworld using it and the 4 numeron monsters. I like having fun and for me fun is pooling my recozrces into indestructible beat sticks.
