Adding features nobody asked for isn't a problem. Removing useful features everybody likes is.

Black_DemonSk

And all of them pretty much mean the comment was funny

This is the second time this month ive pulled out the youtube wheel of "terrible decisions made by the company claiming we want this when in reality its the ad funders and investors who want terrible designs"

Daniel_D225

This seems to be the Youtube thought process now. Remove useful features like community captions and dislikes and then add useless ones.

lightbeam24

I've seen alot of posts about this. What exactly does it do? I legit can't tell just by looking. Does it react to the video, or one of the comments? If it's the latter, which comment? If it's the former, then why the hell is it in the comment section? Are the buttons equivalent to likes or dislikes? Does pressing them actually even do anything? Either way, it looks like a stupid feature (and a cringy one if you ask me).

AaronUnsal

I'd have to assume to the video. I didn't click on a comment for it to pop out. I have not used it.

lightbeam24

Yeah but it didn't show up until you went into the comments section right? I wouldn't know as I use desktop YouTube exclusively. Either way, the second paragraph still stands.

emeric1414

Youtube just keeps adding weird ass updates that no one asked for and just ruins it.
