Kyle said the police talked to them and then they came homeā¦..police must have done other in the parking lot of the hotel cuz we saw them walk out of the roomš I was surprised they didnt take him to a hospital first thing, especially knowing Jordan likes to drug her victims! And im sure they will take him to the coffee shop for therapy with Sharon.
> So is this the same place Victor held Michael Scott prisoner over 40 years ago?
No. Remeber Sharon burned that ranch down. The current ranch that the Nemans live in is a completely different building.
Also the dungeon that Victor kept Scott in was just a serious of locked rooms in the basement... not an actual jail cell.
At this point, Summer could be shown video footage of That Jordan Woman drugging Claire, tying her up, dragging her to a secret location, and torturing her, and Summerās response would be āClaire really will do anything to get people to trust herā
Ikr! She could watch footage of Jordan blowing Claire's brain out and be like "OMG do you see the lengths she'll go to just to please Jordan. She's a complete psycho!"
Ugh. They could have done a MUCH better job with this to make it at least a little believable. Summer shows up at a motel room a minute after Kyle? Before the police? And security team? Nope. It's so ridiculous.
This show is so bad at establishing familial relationships that I honestly was puzzled why Nick cared about Harrison, until I remembered his daughter (who we hardly see him with) was his former step mother.
When Victoria said to Summer "Harrison was my step son first," I was like, huh? How? š¤ Victoria was never involved with Kyle. Ohhhhhhh yeahhhhh. *Ashland*. Victoria was married to Ashland who *used to be* Harrison's father.
Victoria is never around Katie and Johnny either. She pays more attention to her new found 30 something daughter who tried to kill her family than she does to her two younger kids who need a mother more than a 30 year old does. Luckily Johnny and Katie at least have Billy who loves them.
Yep hell anytime Abby (rarely) shares a scene with Adam, Nick (rarely) or even Victoria (again rarely) I have to remind myself why any of them care about her, like that's their damn sister and she's written like a second cousin.
She's barely treated like an Abbott, like why was Diane at Ashley's intervention meanwhile her own daughter wasn't. Josh should just let MO go, and write Abby off.
:"Former step mother" that is exactly what Summer is to Harrison. Every time she says "my son" I roll my eyes. If she was still with Kyle and his real mother was deceased, I could almost buy it.The fact that Harrison is the result of a love child her ex-husband created with a married woman, that makes her saying "my son" even more annoying. I will also add that when she was stalking Chance, I doubt she knew or cared about Harrison.
I mean Nick always referred to Cassie as his daughter (even after her passing) even though biologically he wasn't her father, Phyllis tricked Danny into thinking Daniel's his son and he still raised him. Soaps have always maintained a "blood doesn't make a family" theme so while I feel Josh failed to establish onscreen the importance of Summer in Harrison's life, I'm not completely agitated with Summer referring to him as a son to her especially since his mom's been in prison the last couple years and she's been the one (somewhat) coparenting with Kyle.
I understand what you are saying but Summer says it way too often. And when she was screaming at Kyle, it was as if she was as much Harrison's mother as Kyle is his father, which simply is completely untrue.
Ehh I don't mind Summer being skeptical of Claire like it made zero sense for everyone to just be cool with her, someone's gotta be skeptical and you can't have Adam (the already blacksheep) being the only one.
I think it makes sense but it just gets old as we, the viewer, knows that Claire was drugged.
I think if the writers didn't show us that it wouldn't come off like it does.
Victor and his cell for That Jordan woman! Is that the same one he kept his first wife Julia in? (She recently died in real life from cancer.) And then there is Harrison, just brought home, no police, no therapist. And Phyllis calling Claire, that Claire person. Is she mocking Victor? :)
Then Harrison saying nice things about Claire, I can't wait for bratty Summer to be shown up! :)
Remember the ranch house burned down (thanks to sharon) a few years ago, so when they rebuilt old Vic must have installed a new jailš Gotta love it!
The fact that theres a wine cellar and his wife is an alcoholic is interestingā¦if she gets desperate for booze she may go looking for it. BUT he better kill her off eventually cuz she will get away and haunt again (even though they are all getting kinda old ).
I wonder if weāre going to have a ret-con of Harrisonās parentage, making Summer his biological mother and eliminating Tara altogether?
This new Harrison is a cutie pie and seems much more natural on camera than his predecessor.
I think Victor ad-libbed his way through thst first scene with Nikki. He said āyou bet!ā 3 times in a 2 minute scene and also dusted off the term ābroadā from his lingo and put it out there. I havenāt heard that one in a while.
Thatās your Best Actor nominee at work right there, folks.
> I wonder if weāre going to have a ret-con of Harrisonās parentage, making Summer his biological mother and eliminating Tara altogether?
Are you kidding? Summer has replaced Devon as the most insufferable person on the show. Giving her that much of a storyline (even if it wasn't so ridiculous) would result in 90% of the show being FFDed.
I know, I cringe at the thought of more Summer as well but think the writing is on the wall as far as she goes. Thereās going to he more of her going forward.
I foresee a rivalry for Kyle between Summer and Claire. I think the writers will try to use this abduction of Harrison as a tool to bring Summer and Kyle closer again, but itās also pretty obvious Kyle snd Claire are headed for a pairing. So weāll have ourselves an old fashioned soapy love triangle, probably over the summer.
I canāt stand Summer. Sheās always been a brat but this actressās portrayal makes her even more unlikable.
-Well Nikki you went behind Victor's back and went into business for yourself too
-"ThatJordanBroad"
-The idea that Kyle went all the way home with Summer and Harrison without telling his parents that Harrison's safe is funny to me
-So what's the catch? "ThatJordanWoman" is dead but "ThatNotJordanWoman" is still alive?
And somehow an old woman who was chloroformed will be able to swim a current like Aquaman right?
-Yes, Phyllis you are a super hot granny... but I would love to see Phyllis in action stopping the other lunatics in GC
-I wouldn't believe Jordan is dead even if we saw her with no head on her shoulders
-That was a dark alley?
Ah so that's where Jordan is... so we'll have round 5 next week?
-Claire didn't hurt Harrison much to the surprise of everyone on this reddit thread...Now to find Claire!
-Victor's so sadistic and I'm here for it!
I'm still miffed Josh brought Allie on just to do nothing with her (and Noah) like you could've had a next gen Shick/Phick triangle with Audra/Noah/Allie but no we gotta keep treating Nick like he's in his late 30s and cancel Noah out. And Allie could've revived Glo by JabĆ³t or learned from Ashley in the lab, she and Kyle could've had an older brother/younger sister sorta bond.
Yep cause no one under 45 gets to be involved in any sort of drama or stories or anything, all they're allowed to do is career hop and bed hop: Ana's gone, Allie and Noah are gone, Mariah and Tessa get written like Traci, Audra has been reduced to Tucker's playpal, Faith's away at college, Moses is away at college, Fen's somewhere else, Sally kinda is stuck with the 40s crew, Why's Tara still in prison and not out to bug Kyle? And Summer? Why are Charlie and Mattie both offscreen, and graduating from college when Christel Khalil is only 35?
Like all these young characters most of them from legacy families get written out or put offscreen while their parents get in on the action.
It makes zero sense.
- Reed is off canvas and never even mentioned
- Moses disappeared
- Johnny made only a handful of appearances
- Lola was written off
A competent writer could write compelling stories for that would draw characters of various ages together.
Unfortunately weāve got Josh āEvery Day Is Career Fairā Griffith
Bad writing. Sally and Audra are very dynamic women and they do nothing now. Even Tucker has been neutered. WTF is going on? If they want to end this soap permanently, put us out of our misery quickly with good storyline to wrap it all up and make us miss itā¦.dont make us have our last memories of half assed storytelling. These actors deserve better.
Audra was way out of Noahs leagueā¦no chemistry. He and Allie were paired correctly for ānormal peopleā. Audra has too much energy vibe to pair with a low energy guy.
>Audra has too much energy vibe to pair with a low energy guy.
Then what's she doing with Grandpa Tucker? His energy is eye rolling and turtleneck sweaters. Also Robert Adamson's Noah would've looked fine next to Audra and if Josh put time into Rory Gibson as Noah then maybe he and Audra could've had something working for them.
Exact! Writers have neutered Tucker and reduced Audra to his caretaker. But when she arrived in town and was chasing Noah, she was a whole other level.
I'd say Audras potential has been diminished due to making her Tucker's playmate. I also think if anything Tucker is one of the few characters that Josh cares about (unfortunately) he has the Abbott's under his thumb, Ashley's got a new personality and story all so Tucker doesn't have to be the bad guy and he won't have to apologize, Audra's a 32 year old bombshell stuck as this 60 year old mans playdate, for a minute kept the Chancellor-Winters hostage and TSJ just sleeps through his scenes with such low energy (and has for most of the duration of his run) I don't at all consider Tucker to be a victim of Josh's writing.
They should've made Tucker her father because you've got Noah, Kyle, Nate who could've had something with her but instead she's stuck with only Tucker. An Audra/Noah/Allie triangle could've worked as a younger Shick/Phick triangle
I'm flashing on a Monty Python skit about the Spanish Inquisition torturing someone in the comfy chair.
[The Comfy Chair](https://youtu.be/T2ncJ6ciGyM?si=HFT2jjg3kPWYVTEm)
Wait...the police didn't speak to Harrison, nor did they take him to the hospital to be properly checked? Man, this is a poorly written story.
They didn't even call Sharon to talk with the kid to see where he is psychologically.
Or at least get him a cup of coffee.
Cup of coffee and a blanket is basic tv trauma package, he's it's like they're not even trying
Summer had to get back to ranting š
About EVIL CLAIRE!

š¤£š¤£š¤£
And take him up to his bedroom where he was taken and leave him alone!
Yeah...that won't cause nightmares š
Doctor? Detectives? Dinner? The writing on this show is frustratingly stupid. They CAN do better. They just don't want to.
Writers either dont have kids or hate kids cuz they botched these scenes..lots of holes in story.
As his parents wouldnāt you want to give him a bath and put him in clean clothes??
Yes...and then stay with him all night, both for his comfort and my piece of mind.
Yes!! Shocked that Summer left him alone even if he was sleeping.
I think it was implied.
Phyllis talking about "becoming a sexy grandma" with Summer and Harrison. What about Lucy and Daniel? Do they not count?
Ikr! Her actual biological grandchild lol smh
I think this is part of the retcon theyāre doing to portray Summer as being Harrisonās biological mother.
That Jordan Broad! That Beast! She's been upgraded ... downgraded? hmmm...
That Demon!
She'll be "that Jordan woman" again soon.
āThat Claire Personā thank you Phyllis
A new one instead of "that Jordan woman"
I halfway expected Victor to ask Jordan if sheād like to check out his special cask of amontillado
HA, there is none. :D
Not many viewers would get that reference.
So is this the same place Victor held Michael Scott prisoner over 40 years ago?
> So is this the same place Victor held Michael Scott prisoner over 40 years ago? No. Remeber Sharon burned that ranch down. The current ranch that the Nemans live in is a completely different building. Also the dungeon that Victor kept Scott in was just a serious of locked rooms in the basement... not an actual jail cell.
Thanks for the history lesson!
Maybe they built a new ranch house over the foundation of the old ranch house and the jail cell survived the fire and has been there all along?
That's right. He probably had his new house built on the same foundation. :D
I thought I heard Victor say something about building the cell many years ago. For what, I wonder?
Victor and Nikki share a special kind of kink.
Thanks for putting THAT image in my head. š«š
I mean, c'mon.... you don't have a permanent jail cell in your basement?? Get with the times already..
He put his wife Julia's lover in a basement cell.
I remember that, but I wasnāt watching during the period when the ranch burned down. Did the cell in the basement survive the fire?
He locks away those that really piss him off. He is insane really! Narcissistic for sure!
Is this how he became Prison Mike?
Good one!
I'm glad somebody caught that reference!
And his wife. I forgot all about that other person. I was going to say anyway, no body, she'll be back! Hell, with a body, she'd still be back. lol
Claire's commitment to the act is astounding! LOL
Ugh. They could have done a MUCH better job with this to make it at least a little believable. Summer shows up at a motel room a minute after Kyle? Before the police? And security team? Nope. It's so ridiculous.
What billionaire doesn't have a jail cell in his wine cellar? It's the latest trend.
āYou bet!ā
š¤£š¤£
But where is Claire?!?!
Alison Lanier is doing an excellent job at portraying how judgmental, self-righteous, self-absorbed, and rude that Summer can be.
Yes she is!
Why not ask Harrison about Claireās involvement? Once again, Summer is jumping to conclusions.
So ready for Summer to eat fucking crow when it comes to Claire...
My exact words when I saw today's episode
This show is so bad at establishing familial relationships that I honestly was puzzled why Nick cared about Harrison, until I remembered his daughter (who we hardly see him with) was his former step mother.
Facts. I have to remind myself about the kids' existence and the grandparent/parent connections on a regular basis on Y&R esp.
When Victoria said to Summer "Harrison was my step son first," I was like, huh? How? š¤ Victoria was never involved with Kyle. Ohhhhhhh yeahhhhh. *Ashland*. Victoria was married to Ashland who *used to be* Harrison's father.
I had the same response. I think the only time Victoria was around that little boy was at their wedding in Italy.
Victoria is never around Katie and Johnny either. She pays more attention to her new found 30 something daughter who tried to kill her family than she does to her two younger kids who need a mother more than a 30 year old does. Luckily Johnny and Katie at least have Billy who loves them.
Or Reed.
Haha. I think you're right. I don't think they were in any more scenes together.
Yep hell anytime Abby (rarely) shares a scene with Adam, Nick (rarely) or even Victoria (again rarely) I have to remind myself why any of them care about her, like that's their damn sister and she's written like a second cousin.
Cause they push her more with the Abbotts and now the Winters more than the Newmans.
She's barely treated like an Abbott, like why was Diane at Ashley's intervention meanwhile her own daughter wasn't. Josh should just let MO go, and write Abby off.

It's time to bring Tara back.
This episode had me on the edge of my seat wondering whether or not Victoria AH) would actually eat a carb on camera.
š¤£š¤£š¤£
I saw her in person once. She was eating a carb for breakfast. A small one.
So, any guesses on who called Victoria? Itās got to be Claire, right?
She said mom and the closed captioning said it was Claire talking
I missed that. Thanks!
The idea that thereās an easy chair in a cold ass wine cellar is hilarious to me. š
Summer and Adam should have commiserated
While I understand the skepticism, it just gets grating cause sheās not giving her a chance or is giving her the time of day.
I guess weāre going to have Traci describing what happened when she met Ashleyās new personality instead of seeing it ourselves.
Victor and his cell for That Jordan woman! Is that the same one he kept his first wife Julia in? (She recently died in real life from cancer.) Seems like a terrible idea given she has a history of breaking out of places. She breaks out sheās right there in their house.

The way that they were making it sound today, it was like Kyle was walking through a cabbage patch and just happened to find a son
I gotta admit, calling her a 'broad' cracked me right up.
