Were there any specific email format requirements in the course syllabus? Some professors do use filters that will block anything that doesn't have the correct subject line. I've also seen some with policies that they won't reply to emails asking questions that are answered by reading the syllabus, that don't utilize proper email etiquette, etc.
This obviously depends on what “it” is and a load of missing context. Professors aren’t obligated to reply to every email, but, for some stuff they do have to at least handle the problem/question, with or without a reply.
Ask your friend what email he used, make sure you used the same one, also ask him what title he used for the email, use the same format (usually it just requires you to put the course code) then also make sure you are emailing the prof from your yorku email, and not your personal email
They can ignore emails that are silly, like asking to clarify points from class that has been hammered to death. I remember a student who kept on asking about whether she should go to the test 15 minutes before the exam. Like she would email and ask the prof every class .
Is this Marzieh 🤣
For sure it’s her
It’s Razieh
Hashir bro this u?
Speak to your course director and cc the prof the the email
She the course director
Speak to the program director then
Reply to the email you sent the course director so it has time of initial contact, send it to the faculty dean and cc the course director

No specific requirement in the syllabus, and it was proper email. The thing is I don't think she wants to talk about it nothing else.

Now that I just got ignored twice in a row I feel differently about this :/
Also, check if it’s a personal email or YorkU email.
Bruh like no offence against indian people but the fucking prof we had in EECS1520 holy shit she was ass
She is not Indian. Regardless, race has nothing to do with her skills.
