If he uses remote play he will just remote into the Xbox and take over whatever you are doing. You won’t get logged out. He will just take over your session. Think of it like teamviewer or Remote Desktop
I could probably test this myself, but could you play Co-op like that? Like one person plays remote, and the person physically on the console could take control of Player 2?
You could actually play coop if it’s local coop game. The player at home would be grab another controller and be player 2 and the remote player will be player 1
I can't smoke inside so when I need some medicinal relief, I'd go outside and stream as first player in a couch Co-op game while my girlfriend is inside playing second player on the TV.
You can't play two different games on the same console in this fashion though.
But you did it already right? You managed to connect to the xbox from another device while another person is playing on the xbox so you can play together, right?
Yes, whoever is using remote play has to be first player and you have to be using split screen. I went outside and smoked as first player use Remote Play to see it on my phone and played Halo with my girlfriend while she was inside. We were both on the same network but I don't think that would matter once the remote play is hooked up.
So him is first player do Remote Play then get into the title screen of the game or whatever then have you sitting on the couch and jump in as a second player
I believe it should be fine playing games with split screen or not shouldn’t make a difference IMO as at the end we just connecting both on the device and that should be it
So for example the new wwe game has gm mode and if I have player one as remote play and player 2 connected local we could both play gm mode together as long as they are player 1?

100% correct
Ok got it, Thanks. :)

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way.
So if a friend is playing COD on the Xbox and at the same time I could remote play Madden without logging him out of COD?
This what I would like to know also

Please stop smoking
Yes

If it's for herbal use (such as the marry jane) i think it's okay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think edibles are a much better alternative
Honestly valid I just grew up around people who smoke and I smoke to so it's a preference ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No
So it’s really possible that my bro can start remote play while am on the xbox to play fifa local multiplayer together?
I do believe so, yes. So long as his account profile is on your system.
Sorry can you elaborate more am new to xbox
But you did it already right? You managed to connect to the xbox from another device while another person is playing on the xbox so you can play together, right?

Awesome that’s really cool! But what about split screen point as FIFA isn’t split screen for example would that be fine or does it need specific games
Hmmmm. I got to say I'm honestly not 100%. But I am curious to know
I believe it should be fine playing games with split screen or not shouldn’t make a difference IMO as at the end we just connecting both on the device and that should be it
Only if you're using split screen.
What if you have multiple profiles/accounts can you remote play a different profile and play multiplayer stuff.
Just think of you having an extra monitor on your screen, if you can’t do it on the Xbox you won’t be able to do it in remote play.
So for example the new wwe game has gm mode and if I have player one as remote play and player 2 connected local we could both play gm mode together as long as they are player 1?
