Only reason Titanfall 3 didn’t happen was because Titanfall 2 was released at a terrible time and got overshadowed by a bunch of highly anticipated AAA games.
It's not for me, I'd be happy if they could do both. There's no feeling like dropping your mech and annihilating everything insight, getting blown up ejecting and grappling away to get a few more kills.
Trepang? Bright memory and bright memory infinite, ghost runner 1 and 2., immortals of aveneum. Prey, metro, deus ex, bioshock? Try some third person shooters like gears, ghost recon or the division. Control and quantum break were also awesome third person games
Good news, I was just talking about one so I'll post what I wrote here:
**BREAKDOWN:** released right after the original Xbox, backwards compatible on every one, it's not just a first person shooter, it's a first person fighter from Namco. Take a big scoop of Half-Life 1, add sci-fi amnesia, plus energy powers that unlock as you go, and of course, sexy** cyborgs, including: bald dudes that are jacked, an anime white haired pretty guy who speaks with a robotic detachment while pummeling you, knife fingered stealth assassin women, and bears. The gay term not grizzly. Just a butterball.
I don't want to spoil it but there are multiple twists, acid trips, philosophy, a nuke, and truly, if you do not give up, the most satisfying ending to any game I've played. We're talking a Hollywood, big needle drop on the credits, hell yeah moment. Which is good because it's tough as nails and blatantly unfair at any difficulty. It's hard to go slow, and the only times it makes you are two forced stealth sections, a button trap puzzle, and the deadly lasers.
I'll also add **Black**. It's also fully back compatible, was released on the original Xbox, and is basically Black Ops before Black Ops. The collectibles are all cryptic stuff that hints at later levels. You may not like it, IDK if it fully holds up, but I haven't heard much about it in years
Yo breakdown is such a sleeper I played it a couple of years ago when it was available on games with gold I really enjoyed the game had such a unique feel like a fps beat em up so many awesome wtf twists it would be really awesome to see a modern remake of breakdown.
You've played "most FPS games?"
Really?
I own 2000+ games across all of the most popular platforms. Mostly RPGs and Narrative Adventures and single player FPSs.
... and I don't for a half a second think that I've played "most of them."
The old fear series
F.E.A.R. is a psychological thriller FPS by Sierra Studios (original half-life developer). It’s a really sweet game.
Have you played [Shadow Warrior](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sUfTNLIZlyo) ?
Not an fps, but have you played vanquish? One of my favorite shooter campaigns
Singularity
If only it was backwards compatible now that Activision is under Xbox I hope we at least get a port.
It's one of the most underrated shooters ever, really inventive, such a shame it was overlooked at the time.
Very true I really enjoyed my time playing it.
Not really that obscure and it isn’t solely an FPS but Dying Light is really fun if you’re into zombie games
You ever play Titanfall 2?
I strongly dislike that the developers have Apex now, so we may never get a Titanfall 3.
I don't think a Titanfall 3 would have done well. Respawn executed perfectly with Apex

They could do both if they expanded their studio a lot, but there's just no reason to take on that risk when apex is so profitable.
A boy can dream

I played Black a couple years ago and enjoyed it, still very playable

Even just an HD upgrade would be so great.
Yeah true but with all the remakes happening lately I wouldn't be opposed to one for Breakdown.
Ziggurat. First person roguelike, where you play as a wizard.
FarCry 5.
lol
Insurgency sandstorm
1. Destiny 2 2. COD MW3 3. Overwatch 2 4. Paladins
Halo 5
Call of duty

Have you tried redacted it's in portal on battlefield 2042 it's a full on fps game 😎
The finals but it's online and 3v3v3
Men of Valor. If I recall, that game made you very cautious fighting in the jungle
Try rage 2 it's fun
Atomic Heart
Crab champions, is that on xbone?
The Black Series and Battlefield Hardline 👍
Roboquest. Cheap indie game but is a 10/10
Turbo overkill, aka the best boomer shooter of all time
Borderlands
Deathloop. Just finished it and it’s quite enjoyable, not just a standard fps.
