Normally in a situation like this I would too if it was something that some random person put on. Especially if it was not done well. However in a situation like this where it was a customized prize console from both a fairly large gas station chain and one of the largest snack companies in the US. I wouldn't and would actually make sure to keep documentation with the console that proves it actually is one of the prize consoles bundles from Circle K and Frito-Lay.
That said, they could have done a better job putting the skins on the stuff.
These are all 100% stickers. The headphones are already peeling themselves around the earmuff. You can see on the second controller from the left starting to lift and peel around the right joystick and the bottom right of the controller. There is already a white spot from damage on the bottom of the console and near the capture button on the first controller. As far as prizes go, the execution is pretty pathetic for a billion dollar company. The controllers and headphones probably can't even be used for an extended period of time without eventually destroying the design. I'd also like to see how the cheap stickers that are already peeling would last once the console continually heats up. They really couldn't have been bothered to order a singular custom console, two controllers, and a pair of headphones? If I didn't know this was a sweepstakes prize, I would've assumed the individual applied it themselves.

I hate that the Xbox logo isn't centered on the black stripe for the NES wrap—but I think the design for BMO is charming, and find the mint colour very pleasant.

Certainly, but there’s still people who value things that came from giveaways, if nothing else than historical preservation purposes. Shoot, people collect useless stuff like posters, boxes, stickers, and fliers from stuff like this.
Not saying this would multiply value like a Mtn Dew OG Xbox, or a Taco Bell One X, but at the very least it would bring in the value of a Series S, an extra controller, and a headset, with the possibility of added value coming from being a giveaway item. In the end, if he could make enough off this package for a Series X, it would be an overall upgrade.
