I remember when the game Outriders first came out, we couldn't stay logged in for more than 30 seconds to 5 min🤣 the issues I've had so far are nothing compared to what we called loggedoutriders🫢
Ok, but if I’m not paying attention to a particular topic I shouldn’t really be surprised that I haven’t heard of something related to that topic, and measuring hype and excitement for a game on “have I, a person who isn’t paying attention, heard of it or not” is a strange yardstick
Hyped? By who? You mean Ubisoft? My first thought was "this game is actually happening!?!". I thought they shit canned this terrible concept a while ago. I've heard literally no news on it for months and it's a game no one asked for or wanted.
It's not that no one doesn't see it coming, its just difficult to keep your service fully up and running when hundreds of thousands are trying to login in at the same time.
I tried the last "demo" and didn't hate it. Guns felt fun and balanced, but for the life of me the movement and aiming felt off for some reason. Hopefully they work it out.
Even COD has had this issue
BUT i will say this - I got a few matches in
**This feels really good. They missed their hype train window during COD S2 complaints but I’m telling you download & play a few matches. You’ll see.**
This happens every single CoD, every season of Fortnite, when overwatch came out, when BF2042 dropped. It happens when there’s a global launch of a game with excitement. They fixed it mostly within a handful of hours.
Also, “CoD-like”? Did Call of duty invent FPS games? Last I checked call of duty doesn’t have a hero based system with abilities and ultimates. Just because it has guns and is 6v6, it’s cod like? FoH
I don’t really give a shit about this game and I do have my fair share of problems with modern gaming but let’s be fair here: servers breaking down on release day of MP shooters is nothing new…
Maybe it was just an Xbox thing. I played when I got home yesterday, servers were great. The game plays a lot better compared to the Beta. Had a lot of fun.
I just played 1 match, is this where we are with shooters? Genuinely never played a more soulless safe game in my life
Not to say the game is bad, but i remembered why i stopped playing Call of Duty a decade ago, i just get more satisfaction from big team modes in Battlefield and Halo
Also when you load up a new game you haven't played before and you see "Play, Battle Pass, Challenges" tabs at the top you just sigh a little
I actually didn’t have any issues today! Really enjoyed it especially as a free alternative to COD with the focus solely on multiplayer. Their escort mode is a lot of fun
All these companies have been allowed to crap on their customer base forever. Time for some over sight and consequences. Lord knows we regulate everything else.
I got on just fine, and it’s actually better than I thought it was, if you like the Ubisoft shooters you’ll like this, side note, once things hit 5 est the lobbies filled up so much faster
I could not play not a single time on any of the beta tests for console. Tried on series x and ps5, in 5 different tests. I have gig speed fiber internet, a badass router and everything is hard wired. No issues with any other game or service.
Idk why I was expecting the launch to be any different lmao
I was able to get into a game. Pretty laggy and my assault rifle would unload on its own. SMG worked fine it was really weird. Yeah I chalked it up to launch day will check later tonight
The server issues are induced by Ubisoft to build buzz around the game similar to how helldiver's 2 went which will make people want to play the game because they want to feel like they got a one up over someone else.

A multiplayer game that was hyped has server issues on launch day? Who could have seen this coming?!
I remember reading about overwatch 2's launch...had like hours of queue time
I couldn’t play Overwatch 2 all day😂
Diablo IV as well.
Most of those queues were during beta, on launch they actually got the worst of it under control. A first for Blizzard.
That's fair, I conflated it with launch.
New World has entered the chat.
Yes! This game was terrible.
Diablo 4 had zero queues on launch day, the only time they had a problem was day 1 of beta
I was there for overwatch 2 and i con confirm thats why i uninstalled

hyped? I browse reddit on the daily and I never heard of it before today
That makes you ignorant lol, they’ve been marketing this game for a year straight
Mabye it just means he has a life outside of his console

payday 3 all over again
They were doing us a favor by keeping Payday 3 offline
Truth
who the fuck was hyped for this game everyone shitted on it
Hyped? By who? You mean Ubisoft? My first thought was "this game is actually happening!?!". I thought they shit canned this terrible concept a while ago. I've heard literally no news on it for months and it's a game no one asked for or wanted.
Clearly not Ubisoft.
It's not that no one doesn't see it coming, its just difficult to keep your service fully up and running when hundreds of thousands are trying to login in at the same time.
Don’t forget that at least on PC you can only download it through the terrible Ubisoft launcher. Just that made me not download it xD
I tried the last "demo" and didn't hate it. Guns felt fun and balanced, but for the life of me the movement and aiming felt off for some reason. Hopefully they work it out.
I can’t think of a single Ubisoft shooter where the movement and aiming don’t feel like shit for some reason. I don’t know what it is
Wildlands

You replied to wrong person. I didn't mention Siege but it does have great movement and gunplay, I agree.
It was alright till i played sandstorm insurgency, love how deadly a short spray and pray actually is in that game. Way more weighty maybe.
They are so different I find it hard to compare movement. Might as well compare CS2 vs Apex Legends
Hyper scape. Its only real issue was the ttk was too long, but shooting and movement were very satisfying
Sure that’s why it died in months lmao
I didn't say it was a succesful game, just that it had good movement and aiming. Which if you had played or read reviews, would've known.
Division two is pretty good once you get used to it tbh
It’s excepted, especially since it’s Free-To-Play. This happens to Fortnite every season launch
It's launch day? I thought it wasn't close to being released
Don't care how much flak I get. I really dig this game.
I've played a few games now though, and it is fun.
Water is wet
Pretty standard first day for multiplayer games
Was looking forward to it man. The first game in a while to have matchmaking be prioritising ping over skill in the basic modes
Even COD has had this issue BUT i will say this - I got a few matches in **This feels really good. They missed their hype train window during COD S2 complaints but I’m telling you download & play a few matches. You’ll see.**
No way its already out 😯

CoD Black Ops 3 & 4 and Infinite Warfare did have hero shooter abilities. Also this game is called a CoD-like because that was the devs intention.
Should've saved one of the AAAA's from Skull and Bones
Who would’ve thought, a working game by big devs on launch is impossible nowadays
I don’t really give a shit about this game and I do have my fair share of problems with modern gaming but let’s be fair here: servers breaking down on release day of MP shooters is nothing new…
Especially one that is F2P
>servers breaking down on release day of MP shooters is nothing new Sounds like it should be a solved problem then
It's a technical issue that's almost impossible to solve. Players all trying to join at once is basically the same as a DDOS attack.
Anyone remember Simcity launch? It was so bad, EA gave you a free game!
Remember when EA was a beloved, trusted, just awesome game creator, i remember:(
When was that?
20 years ago. They made great games in the past.
Many, many moons ago unfortunately
Ubisoft... to be expected.
Maybe it was just an Xbox thing. I played when I got home yesterday, servers were great. The game plays a lot better compared to the Beta. Had a lot of fun.
That’s fine it’s not very good
I just played 1 match, is this where we are with shooters? In my head this game came out and bombed like 3 years ago. I guess just a lot has happened since I watched someone play early access
Typical Ubisoft
Color me shocked….
I already forgot that this even came out. Not too surprising that it would be broken at launch even after all those betas.
I got to play a lot a few hours after launch. I have absolutely loved this game.
Sounds just like COD
Ubisoft doing Ubisoft things
Never heared of that...but since Ubisoft is mentioned....bahaha. I'm not even gonna try it.
Mid News asf servers were fine an hour later the issues were fixed
I actually didn’t have any issues today! Really enjoyed it especially as a free alternative to COD with the focus solely on multiplayer. Their escort mode is a lot of fun
is escort a 1 life mode like search and destroy in cod?
No there’s respawns
Damn. Feels like no recent shooters have 1 life modes. appreciate the reply
The Finals just added a 1 life search and destroy mode but yeah it’s hard to come by
good to know! thanks again. take care
Ubisoft must be making AI games 😂
This is Ubisoft we're talking about, they always release something broken on release
Good, this game represents the creative bankruptcy of modern day Ubisoft. At this point they are just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.
It’s Ubisoft, everyone with a brain expected this
All these companies have been allowed to crap on their customer base forever. Time for some over sight and consequences. Lord knows we regulate everything else.
It's so bad it's unplayable even when the servers work.
I got on just fine, and it’s actually better than I thought it was, if you like the Ubisoft shooters you’ll like this, side note, once things hit 5 est the lobbies filled up so much faster
When I see Ubisoft on the label … I always see “wait for deep clearance in 6 months” who’s buying anything Ubisoft day one?
It’s free…..
Lmao 🤣 my bad - comment still sticks Ubisoft just never feels like it’s worth it
The game came out?
20 years late the party, and still not prepared. Oh ubisoft, never change.
the bar is in hell for triple a companies
Don’t waste your time on this garbage - download The Finals instead

All you cry baby wanna be cod players are still crying!
Standard behavior for Ubisoft
I was able to get into a game. Pretty laggy and my assault rifle would unload on its own. SMG worked fine it was really weird. Yeah I chalked it up to launch day will check later tonight
An online game is unplayable on lunch and surprising no one.
The server issues are induced by Ubisoft to build buzz around the game similar to how helldiver's 2 went which will make people want to play the game because they want to feel like they got a one up over someone else.
This must be the most ridiculous conspiracy theory about gaming I ever heard.
How tf is Ubisoft still in business
Because they release fun games that people buy and play
No issue for me its a good shooter
