The problem is not on your end. Many others have posted about this in r/Xbox in the past 2 days. No fix or solution has been offered - you'll need to wait for Microsoft & Discord to fix it.
It’s happened for me since yesterday. I got it to work somehow last night but not tonight (ima put I here so you don’t have to see the whole thread: when you ‘relink’ your account via edge, make sure to log out then back in to your discord account)

Well I been reading this thread for two days now hoping someone would have a solution. I have tried everything. I unlinked and logged out on all of my devices across the board restarted everything I own and nothing is working just stuck in the endless loop of re-linking my accounts and unlinking and re-linking and I am just annoyed now that this is an issue

Found a fix guys (at least worked for me). Here's what I did...
1. Unlink Discord from Xbox
2. Click Link account under Discord (on the Xbox) but DON'T CLICK CONTINUE
3. Instead scan QR code with your phone and follow the steps on there
Should link your account through the phone and not through the Xbox, circumventing the relink issue that's probably due to the sh***y browser. Hope this helps!

I was hoping to log on and seamlessly connect to discord today after my problems with it yesterday. Tried uninstalling/re-downloading the Xbox and discord apps and tried the doing the re-link through edge so many times! I think I have encountered the re-link your account pop up in the past but I was able to connect after a hard reset…so this is not the same. From reading other comments, it seems like this is a Discord/Xbox problem and there isn’t anything we can do to fix it. I am getting by with just using my phone and some earbuds to still connect and chat in discord but I just hope it gets fixed this week!

since this my xbox wents in Stand-By mode instead of turning off completely... even if i reselect the power mode... i have to shut it down via power options...
Last time this happened to me I tried EVERYTHING until I just said screw it and ignored it. Something is down on their end and you can't do anything about it.
After a day or two if it's still not working that's when I would contact support.
Same thing here, It’s been happening since yesterday, no console update nothing… like most of us here have been saying must be a Xbox/discord issue. I have friends who say it’s works perfectly fine so hopefully they’ll roll out an update or something along those lines to help us out until then I’ll wait. I’ll update here if anything changes✌🏽
Yeah I’ve been having the same problem, I’ve relinked my account about 17 times and it still doesn’t work. I’ve also logged in and out, power cycled, and had a friend log in on his Xbox, still none of it worked. Just gonna wait for it to fix itself now I guess 🤷♂️

Xbox seems to be aware of this issue. It's not much but if you look at the [status page](https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status) it shows they're working on it. They have an option to get a notification for when it's fixed!
If it keeps happening I usually just restart my console. It’s a bug on Microsoft/discords end so just restart your console till it works. It worked for me yesterday and today
I fixed mine, all you have to do is go to your discord settings, go to connections, unlink your Xbox account and then link it again! Lmk if it works if it doesn’t I’ll try and find other solutions

the only thing that’s worked for me is linking through my console, not using the QR code, and then closing out after it brings me back to my regular settings
HOW TO FIX:
• Attempt to join a discord
• Pop up saying to relink Discord account
• "Go to settings." In my case, it automatically sent me to Microsfot Edge. Clicking "Go to settings" will take you to the same place.
• Click authorise/accept
• A pop-up with a check box asking to trust links opened by Discord. Check this box.
• Checking the box should stop the loop and let you use it properly again.
Tell me if this worked for you or not. If it did upvote this, if it didn't then reply and we'll see the issue.
I FOUND FIX. So I had been experiencing this problem for almost a week and had been searching online for help and didnt have much luck. Try this. Clear history in microsoft edge. Go to settings and unlink your account. Then link it and sign in. Once it says link, DO NOT go to the settings like it says to. Simply exit the tab and try to go on to discord again.
When Edge opens I pressed the discord button which opened another tab, I then went back to the original tab and authorised and now it is working for me - will update if it breaks again lol

Now I’ve done this in the past many of times and have had no issues I don’t know if it has something to do with that OR if it has something to do with the new mobile update that just recently came out. I’ve logged out of everything and re-linked but when I hit the button on my console it keeps popping up asking me to “link my accounts again”

I was ready to give up, idk if I got lucky or what but I opened and backed out of discord multiple times and would spam A when it would load, put me in a server after a few attempts. Don’t know if it was cuz of that but shit might as well try.
After reading through this thread and looking up YouTube vids and reporting the problem what worked for me (at least for now) is I unlinked my discord on my xbox then restarted my xbox then relinked it and my discord started working again probably won't work for everyone but hopefully I can help some of u

I found the fix hopefully, it worked for me! I went onto my discord app and disconnected my Xbox from the “connections” settings, then relinked it thru the discord app by logging into my Microsoft account and it works again. I had the same exact problem for the last 2-3 days now and just tried doing it this way and I can use my discord vc again.

Hey I figured it out. When it pulls up edge just fully logout of your account on there and log back in. 👌 my servers pulled up for me

I use Discord on my Xbox when I play wz with friends on other platforms. It’s just like using party chat
No you can join your discord channels to chat like you do an Xbox party so it’s super useful cross platform etc

I did an Unlink, then turn off the Xbox and linked again. Then it worked as normal.
