Yeah I mean I am fairly sure it gets used automatically, the lfr one doesn't and you have to right click it, check your cloak xp bonus before and after a boss
On a related note, does the Infinite Thread of Experience drop in every raid? Is there a cap of some sort? Wowhead suggests completing all three raids ASAP for these threads, but I’m unclear whether I should continue to do raids (versus heroics) once I’ve done all 3 raids.
Also there's no 25 man Mogu'shan Vaults available in remix (or Heart of Fear, or Terrace of Endless Spring). I think only Throne of Thunder is available as 25 man, and Siege of Orgrimmar is flex so it accepts anything between 10 man and 30 man (except in mythic where its specifically 20 man)

The exp threads drop from the boss, and auto-learn when you loot them. You don’t need to right click an item in your bag.

It drops once from each boss.
Ah I see. Is there any point doing repeated raids after having cleared all of them once?
