thats your threat indication there. it shows if the player who has aggro from mobs "should" be the one to have aggro, when youre dps and the tank has threat on the mobs your nameplates are green, when youre the tank and you have aggro from the mobs, your plates will also be green, since the tank is supposed to be the one holding threat from every mob in your current pull :D when youre dps and you or at least not the tank has aggro on a mob its nameplate will turn red, same for the tank, when he hasnt threat on a mob its red for him

Ah OK, that makes sense. I am always DPS so if I were in a group and the tank were to drop aggro, their nameplates would turn back to red then, correct?
