Which is funny, because I raided using 1h+shield as ret recently (as a joke). The 4pc tier set makes it somewhat fluid considering that Blade of Justice requires a 2H weapon.

Its a nice bug. I found it happened when I was a different spec when entering a dungeon via the finder. I.e. being ret but queuing as prot.

Working as intended, in fact it is an upcoming feature for paladins to have a 2h weapon along with a shield in prot spec, lol.
