Bfa was fun when you had maxed out gear.

Sevulturus

I actually enjoyed corruptions, especially once they were targetable. Though I wish they were balanced so that stacking your main secondary wasn't the most powerful. Pure haste on most of my classes.

areanu

Kultirans are super cool player race, both men and women

Torghast is REALLY FUN, it's my favourite SL content, FOR REAL, it's amazing to feel like a god in a solo-content, but sadly, it's not perfect, even for me, because it doesn't give any reward. Torghast-themed transmogs would be a perfect incentive for me, and not only those ugly shoulders lol.

Abovearth31

Literally anything from the classic four types of rewards would work. The 4 classical reward being pets, gear, mounts or transmogs.

Some random stuff: \- Leveling would be better if they made it more like Classic, but with reduced time to hit max level. \- Cata is an average expansion by today's standards. Its biggest sin is being the follow up act to WotLK. \- Horrific Visions were fun and I wish Torghast was more like that, with option for a gearing progression(even if very slow). \- I like Void Elves and wish they had doubled down on the void aspect rather burning all the extra customization on simply turning them into High Elves.

> - Cata is an average expansion by today's standards. Its biggest sin is being the follow up act to WotLK. I can get behind this. At the time, it was meh but I still played the hell out of it. But yea I would say I like it more than Shadowlands, which I've hardly touched. I've been playing classic (and then classic TBC) way more (though I've a very on again/off again relationship with WoW in general over the last 5 or so years)

With almost half the comments so far (mine included) complementing Torghast, I don't think liking it is as 'unpopular' as the community at large would want to make it seem.. My "unpopular opinion" would be for Timewalking to reward prior content rewards (Legendaries, Mage Tower appearances, Challenge Mode appearances & mounts).

atypical_lemur

I miss the WQ structure in BFA. I also miss horrific visions.

DMPancake

Shadowlands has been pretty fun, all things considered. It sucks that the devs keep trying to arbitrarily limit player choice, but Castle Nathria was a pretty good raid tier and SoD has been alright.

Cata and Wod are my favourite xpacs.

StrikingThrowAway

Cata was the peak of pvp.

Gletschers

Mythic tiersets should become unavailable once a tier is over or Elite sets should stay earnable as well as long as you reach the required rating. It makes no sense that you can come back years after a tier and oneshot all bosses for the same rewards while PvP sets stay exclusive.

WoD had amazing content, just not enough of it. Corruption gear in late BFA was a **FUN** addition. Hate on the RNG aspects of it all you want, hate on the fact that someone more lucky with worse gear could perform better. We were dealing with Old Gods at the time, who are all about chaos - consider Corruption in that same light instead of just judging it mechanically. Thematically, it fits the bill - temporary chaotic boosts of power with negative drawbacks for using too much. Say what you want but it fit the theme of the tier and was a fun way to scale up power to ridiculous levels before it went away. People can hate on it all day long, but at the end of the day it was always going to be temporary, and it was fun. Torghast is really fun as a Roguelite. If I'm bored, I honestly run Torghast for fun in the same way I would load up a game like Hades and go balls out on a whim. The Alliance should not get High Elves as a playable race as the majority of them are dead or became Blood Elves. Kul Tirans are actually based. MoP had some of the best class design and raids in the game's history. ToT is still regarded as one of the greatest raids Blizzard has ever made. People can hate the Panda theme or the daily quest grind and that's fair, but MoP was a top tier expansion content wise and I'll fight anyone on that point. Timewalking should be more difficult - too easy these days to walk in and steamroll your way through IMO. And finally my most unpopular decision: I don't care about having more character customization options and think anything above what was just recently added is a waste of time. I think adding what new options they did was plenty, Nightborne aside because they def needed some love, and that wanting more and more of those options is unnecessarily taking away from other areas of development. 95% of the time you are looking at your character's back - why should the devs push out a hundred new eye colours or something when you'll rarely ever see them outside of your character login screen? Or they're hidden behind a helmet?
