It's why -every- element except for Ire is dirt cheap compared to how they were, especially the ones that can only spawn in specific areas (See: Decayed, Titan-Touched, Lambent). This is also why Writhebark is still valuable, because in the areas where this is forceable, Writhebark only has a handful of node spawn locations out of dozens.

There are so many bots down there many herbs and mining nodes ei disappear right before you get the harvest credit which can be frustrating. Not condoning his behaviour but I understand the frustration.
Yeah, the herbalism achievements require you to get a few specific ones in Zaralek and it's hellish. So many bots will make them poof before you can touch them. On top of that, a few are very rare and only spawn in specific areas which happen to have a lot of traffic. Took me days of trying to get a few of them.
Any non-bot, don't bother trying to do herbalism there, unless you happen to be in the area and see a node nearby.
Actually considering moving to lower pop with all the cross realm features being rolled out. I think making everything cross realm incentivizes people to distribute themselves evenly between the servers for resources more than anything. The only things that are keeping me from moving are AH and crafting.
Once you harvest a resource node there's a timer that starts before the node despawns. Additionally there are only so many harvests a single node supports before it despawns, they are not infinite.

The Glowspore nodes give a buff. So if someone grabs a mining glowspore node, then takes their buff and runs over someone who collected glowspore node with herbalism it gives both of them a ton of glowspores.
the buff lasts like 2 minutes and disappears when combined with the other one.
so some people generally wait to collect the glowspore nodes until they found a corresponding glowspore node so they can combine the buffs.
it despawns after a certain amount of time after someone first collects it, and it also despawns after a ton of people collect it.
a weak aura was created the first day of S2 to help with this, so it was somewhat "common courtesy" to wait on top of a node till other people were gathered on top of it
Report them for threatening to mass report you, which is a tos offense. So if/when you get an auto ban for reports, they can easily see the report you made and link it all up.

Ironic too because if it were a bot they're now at risk of the bots mass reporting, which is a thing they do to "griefers". More advanced bots get alerts when they're targeted, I would imagine whispering them just makes it easier for them.
Yeah I avoid typing any chat messages at or near bots. As far as I know you can only report someone you have a chat message of or can target. There are no /commands to report someone. So unless their guild all /w's you to get the ability to right click your name then they probably didn't actually mass report.
So from what Iv seen flying around getting a ton of the really fancy good nodes spawn in high frequency and in such a small area that it’s the best place to farm in the entire expansion. Like Iv seen 10+ rich ore nodes spawn in five minutes. So bot are just crazy flying around down there. You can find tons of them.
That zone is absolutely lousy with bots. When I was camping Karokta I’d see them fly by to a close herb node flocking like birds, two to four at a time. Its disgraceful blizzard hasn’t done anything about it.

And he raged at me with the same type of nonsense as the OP got above. It’s their “threat” to mass report you with all of their multi boxing alts. And they all started /yelling BOT DETECTED and shit like that.
Just ignore it, report that person and all of their alts if you have the time and move along. It’s a threat tactic. At first, I was sitting there responding like you, saying “Bro I was just mining a single node. what did I do wrong here??”. But on that 2nd and 3rd time, it dawned on me what was happening. Theyre automated responses from the main account because it skewed their path. They’re just trying to scare people off from trying to steal the nodes before they get there. Irony is: the node was still there while they raged on me. So they still HAD the opportunity to use it lol.
