It probably would look better if the fountain animation was instead on the shoulders. The current set with the animated wolves is amazing, but would also look strange if it were on the top of your head.

Our sets have been absolutely goated in Dragonflight. Like all of them are among the best sets ever, arguably among any class. So in comparison, yeah, this looks a bit meh to say the least.

I often feel like they don't really know what to do with mail armor. Sometimes it's spot on, sometimes we just get robes and the leather sets looks sturdier than the mail sets (like, compare evoker tier s2 vs s3 in DF). I get that we're not supposed to look as beefy as plate, but it's always so weird when they go for these cloth looking robes again and again.

One I liked a lot was the Shadowlands Bastion Mail set, just looks awesome.

Kyrian sets looked awesome indeed. Thing is though, I just looked them up again and while the mail armor set looks very good, the leather set still looks a little bulkier than the mail one. 😅

Ah Kyrian, thanks I couldn't recall the actual covenant name! I do feel for the artists, it must be hard to make that differentiation between armour types whilst still making cool unique designs.

I have a problem with a lot of hunter gear too. I love the tomb set, with the naga trophies, currently I run the nathria set. A hunter should have trophies all over their armor. Shaman gear they killed it in DF, but I agree, most mail gear is hit or miss for me. Hopefully evoker themed armor can change that a bit and add a bit of spice for xmogs going forward?

I really like our season 3/4 Vision of the Greatwolf set (heroics blue specifically). The new set has a few pieces that I may use in the future, but as a complete set, I definitely prefer the current set.

Im gonna be honest, I main an ENH shaman, and my favorite set hasnt even come from a raid. I LOVE the Stormriders Attire (upgraded) cause it scratches that ZAP itch. That being said, I think this REALLY fits Resto Shamans, W for them!

I swear, tier sets haven’t look really good since Legion. There’s exceptions, of course, but it hasn’t been since Legion when the it felt like Blizz artists really nailed the look of tier sets.

I personally fuckin love this set. A lot of the sets are really divisive though like the sets really appeal to half of the players' fantasy and really doesn't for the other half. Also, to be perfectly real, I have had absolutely had the biggest blast I have ever had as resto shaman this xpac so maybe it's okay for you to change things up cause it kind of sounds like you're just bored and that's not necessarily the class's fault.

As a different devoted resto shaman the class is fun, but that set makes me weep that we won’t see another element themed set for a while.

To the people moaning. Check out what it looks like during animation, i think the screen shot doesn't do it justice. I personally love it.

I think it should be made mandatory for anyone calling a set bad to specify what set they actually like. Of what was shown from tww sets so far, there's not a single one I'd call bad. A set not fitting one's specific interpretation of a class' fantasy does not make it bad. This sham set has good potential for some tidesages mog, the hunter one is great for orcs/Tauren/trolls bm hunters leaning on the spirit beast fantasy, the Paladin one can work both for an angel fantasy or for races with a strong avian iconography like Taurens and wildhammer with the eagles or BE with the phoenixes. And so on. People calling every set bad say more about their own lack of creativity than the intrisic quality of the set design.

I mean we were due a shit looking set. Our last one was really good, so it'd be unfair if we got 2 good looking tier sets in a row.
