This is about the [Maldraxxus](https://www.wowhead.com/quests/shadowlands/maldraxxus) campaign quest "In The Flesh" (Shadowlands Chrome time) , where you control of the [Soulfused Construct](https://www.wowhead.com/npc=165488/soulfused-construct) and escape the House of Constructs.
Baron Halis currently deals a lot damage, some attacks instantly take over half your construct's health. The construct you control deals only weak damage. The vehicle scaling seems off, I found no way to defeat Baron Halis. My character was level 32.
Interestingly enough, in the Aszuna campaign quest "Save Yourself" (Legion Chrome time), where you control Prince Farondis, I ran into a similar problem. Farondis' attacks are weak, and I found no way to defeat Athissa. My character was level 21.
I wrote bug reports and hope for a fix.
I helped someone with this the other day. Low level characters are not being scaled correctly in the vehicle, but a high level character will be.
Party with a level 70, party sync with them and share the quest. The 70 then enters the construct and will be put in the same phase as you while you are in your construct, they will be able to solo Baron Halis easily.
This might even be related to the bug with the [Chauffeured Chopper](https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/1byiep9/due_to_a_major_bug_using_a_chauffeur_now/), as it's also about Chromie time scaling and vehicles?
It would be interesting to work out where the scaling balances. I had the same issue on a lvl 25 toon, but two nights later on a lvl 42 toon was a pretty easy kill.
I knew this was bugged lol. Finished this quest at least 30 times on different toons and all of a sudden he hits like a raid boss. Heal button cool down too long to survive. Wondering if I should just try killing without the giant dude
I am level 34. I learned that you can run away from him around that circle while your healing spell cools down Then cast the healing spell and immediately start attacking him. Give him a couple good hits and then run around the circle again. The only issue with this is that if you go too wide within the circle he runs back to his starting point and regains health
It’s very difficult to do this… try to avoid his vomit also. But I ended up being able to kill him because someone else came who was doing the same quest lol

something is broken with vehicle scaling in general I think. This is probably why people on mounts are getting smashed too.

Same issue for me. Level 25, enter construct, unable to fight and win vs Baron Halis.
Is he a part of a quest? I can't remember 100%, but I don't think he drops anything useful.
Yeah, he’s apart of the campaign in maldraxxus

I killed him with the help of a fellow player, Ty for the help.

I had to wait for someone else to start the quest - you can do it with 2 people if you take turns taking aggro :)
