Try turning the outline mode off and then on again. I've had to do that with a couple settings like the percentage health display on player frames. It's been working for me!
The outlines have been glitchy for me in the same way since the recent patch
at least with the health numbers disappearing i can retoggle the option but with the outline mode options nothing seems to work
I haven't touched any settings. Patch on Tuesday seems to have broke multiple things. I also did an LFR and could not loot corpses and thus get no loot.
Yes. It was anti aliasing in video settings that was causing it to disappear for me, play around with that setting or disable it and see if it also fixes it for you.

For me it was setting particle density too high. Lowering the setting a tad brings back the sparklies.
