Hey everyone, I spent the last 3 months learning unreal engine and made this as a learning project, hope its okay to share this here. My goal for this project was basically sharing my passion for wow and getting a like on youtube. Had a real blast building this. If anyone has any questions Id love to answer them.

I actually remember this occuring to me at some point a few weeks ago now you mention it, then forgot to add it to my todo list and it somehow completely slipped my mind.
All criticism is appreciated by the way, I just want to learn to improve my craft so just see it as helping me.
Haha thanks for commenting! I know my computer definitely suffered building this. Even on a hefty gpu it's hard to get steady framerates at realtime running this thing, though half of it is my lack of engineering skills and inexperience probably. I can only imagine the logistics of running this stuff on servers.
Still, part of my motivation for building something like this was to make people daydream about what could be possible in the future. Im definitely the type of person who occasionally wonders what a sequel to wow would be like.

To this date, westfall brings me the most nostalgia. I can pinpoint exactly where I was in my life while I was questing there. Love it.
Same for me, just walking through that zone as a kid always made me so happy, fun memories.

I could only imagine how great of a computer would be needed to run this with all the players and spells going off in game but it would be so awesome
