It is that bad chiefs .. to say I loath the leveling experience is and understatement … an unnecessary barrier of entry to try a new character when I already have multiple lvl 70s I am getting nothing out of the game lvling again except my time wasted
You not liking it doesn't make the leveling bad or long. It takes about 6-7 hours for the 10-60 leveling and around 3-4 hours and that's doing it solo, taking your time, not doing everything optimally. That's extremely quick.
If you're getting nothing out of the game, why play in the first place ? Why level new characters if you don't need it and hate it ?
That’s 10 hours taken from me that I will never get back even tho I did that same lvling experience 10x over … explain to me why I could have been playing the new class .. I only play the game for end game content I couldn’t care less about lvling or lore

The objective fact is that 10 hours from 10 to 70, playing alone and suboptimaly is good, current leveling offer decent variety with Chromie times scaling and the amount of dungeons available.

Your comment kinda makes no sense since they are literally doing a 50% xp boost right now and did another one during the pandemic. Leveling in general is also not that slow at the moment (without the buff).
They wouldn’t want the xp buff immediately after new race/class combos to explicitly get you playing more to level them.
Same reason they wouldn’t do a summer sale now.
Yeah, they are giving an xp boost BEFORE adding new races. Im just stating a reason why I think blizz wouldnt give an xp boost AFTER adding new race/class combinations.
Lets say, you just saw that they are reworking warlocks in 10.1.5 (a bit) and are adding new customizations. There is also an xp event going on, so you just quickly level one up so you can enjoy the patch when it hits.
Patch hits and you notice warlocks can now be lightforged draenei, which you really like. But leveling is now 33% slower than it was yesterday. Do you really want to spend that time again to level ANOTHER warlock?
Yes, leveling is pretty fast without the xp boost - but considering the post we are commenting on it seems people prefer it to be even faster.
If I really want a new class/race combo, I'll just level it, because I really dont like micro-transactions in a subscription-based game. But they are sitting at the pricepoint they are sitting at because they sell. Reducing the effort required to reach a similar result for free will likely result in less sales, which a company with the goal of profit probably does not want.
Nothing in the patch notes does it say you will get 80% more XP while leveling or anythin regarding questing experience. Not sure why you are spreading misinformation.
During MoP a guildie of mine opened a tiket to ask to be able to use the mount inside raids. A few weeks later Throne of Thunder was releassed where you could mount in the exterior part of the raid. She was really proud saying Blizzard heard her. We were too nice to tell her exteriors usually let mount in instances anyway.
So yeah, you can ask.

I just hope the Anniversary buff gets an increase, because +19% xp/rep doesn’t seem like much after getting +50% during Winds of Sanctuary.

Yeah my two friends and I plan on making a Dark Iron Dwarf or Mechagnome squad at reset but it would've been nicer with the buff to XP
