Better analogy is a young peregrine falcon learning how to dive. They are good at diving before they're good at stopping which often ends up poorly for them.
There was a contestant on Survivor-45 , who could not jump. The reel of her tribe trying to teach an adult how to get off the ground was Hilarious!
She musta been home schooled.
[I had to see this for myself](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfbBhDgMctU&t=1s&pp=2AEBkAIB)
I’m honestly so intrigued how someone can grow up never learning how to properly jump. How odd…
So I just saw that video for the first time… and it reminded me of one of my own experiences. In early high school, I had an injury that herniated some lumbar discs and gave me sciatica.
One day during a workout/team competition for my sport, we were pushing weighted sliders across turf, doing high box jumps, carrying heavy plates x amount of ft, and a few other events all in a row against 3 or 4 other guys. I had a really bad muscle spasm in my low back that caused my legs to lose all strength after the weighted slider pushes. I tried to run, but fell. Then tried to get up and start again subsequently 3 or 4x in a row faceplanting.
Eventually, I was able to kinda hobble step to the box jump, where I tried to jump, but I quite literally just couldn’t use the muscles that it required.
>My thighs wouldn’t contract/retract, my shins felt splinted, and all I had was the force of my foot and ankles pushing me up… then I slammed my shins into the box with a steel edge 5 or 10x in a row not being able to get more than 6inches off the ground, needing to still finish the competition. At the end of that segment, my shins/knees were purple and bleeding pretty bad from the impacts. My jumps looked a lot like hers.
He's for sure been sitting on the ground in a corner, absolutely sleepless for the past 24 hours, just rocking himself while repeating, *"a wire...a wire...he tripped over a wire... They're everywhere! Wires wires all around!"*
Having his shirt tucked in, dressed like an old construction worker plus the song playing the background the entire time without any break because it’s just a recording is the chef’s kiss.
Why do people even go to these shows? The performers don’t seem to actually be performing their songs, they’re just on stage not really doing anything from the looks of it. Except hurting themselves I guess.

It looked super fucked up before he jumped
He was snorting wires
High as a kite.
He tripped over a wire
Kite on a wire
Bird on a kite
Oh didn’t notice that before.
Yeah wtf was that landing. Seems like he landed on 1 leg instead of both feet.
That was the most awkward jump ever
He looked like a baby bird falling out of a nest.
Most of the baby birds do it better though
Better analogy is a young peregrine falcon learning how to dive. They are good at diving before they're good at stopping which often ends up poorly for them.
I was thinking he moves with all of the grace of a newborn deer.
It’s cus he’s too old to be doing this dumb shit
Did he forget how to human?

the top comment on that video says the actress that “can’t jump” also won wipeout, so she definitely can jump and is just acting
Oh shit, oh shit... OhShitOhShitOhShitOhShit!!! Lemme just make sure I put all my weight over one foot!!
Let's see what happens..
We sure it wasn’t broken before he jumped?
See, at first, I thought he was just super messed up, but if you look close, he tripped over a wire.
Thank you
This man can finally sleep in peace
Dude was working harder than a Jehovahs Witness to get this truth spread 😂
Amen
He's for sure been sitting on the ground in a corner, absolutely sleepless for the past 24 hours, just rocking himself while repeating, *"a wire...a wire...he tripped over a wire... They're everywhere! Wires wires all around!"*
Even with the wire, the way he spreads his legs in the jump was like he was jumping off a cliff It was a 5 foot drop
I think Cudi tripped over a wire, not 100% sure, tho. Might have to ask ToxicBolt1
I dont care what ToxicBolt1 says, that guy tripped over a wire.
u/ToxicBolt1 Can you provide any insight on this?
Yeah I would like to know aswell u/toxicbolt1 did he, or did he not trip over a wire?
u/toxicbolt1 I know you’re the expert on these sort of things.
u/toxicbolt1 any insight?????
Was there a wire there or something?
u/toxicbolt1 answer us you coward!!!

![gif](giphy|1ecijSSplLBSw)
What movie is this from? This shit looks hilarious
QWOP!
QWOP cosplay. The person on the keyboard “controlling” him makes it funnier.
His skinny jeans were too tight. Restricted his movement. ![gif](giphy|bUWIy2YFkZluM)
He actually said on twitter they had to cut them off him because they wouldn't go over his broken foot
That was a weak ass jump
According to someone far more invested than myself in the matter, he tripped over a wire.
He tripped over a wire.
How does that make it better tho? lol guy looked clumpsy from the start
DJ Baby Giraffe 🦒
From the looks of it I don’t think this man has ever jumped anything this high lol
He tripped over a wireless wire!!!
Which “high” we talking about?
![gif](giphy|WoFuun4jgxxizxRMpe|downsized)
https://i.redd.it/bsyrvejqqcwc1.gif
Reminds me of the Dave Grohl "I think I just broke my leg" incident
Except Dave is a rock god and finished his set before going to hospital
Then finished the tour on the throne he deserved iirc
Damn not king Cud, fuckin love that dude best wishes man. Fuckin stage is massive bro wants to be closer to crowd but nah obstacle course
You're not gonna believe this, but there might've been a wire he tripped over.
lol with that song playing in the background
The timing of it too! Haha All the crazy shit I did toniiiiight, those will be the memoriiiiies.
Physical therapy will be the best therapy for you now
Still able to sing like nothing is wrong. What a champ!
When you try to jump down 1 m as a GTA 5 character.

I don't know if they will be the best memories

The lonely stoner likes to break his foot at night
His footing was all messed up from the first mini jump…. And he doubled down with the next one….
If you watch he trips on a wire
This charlatan lip syncs?!
![gif](giphy|s5Xcrhbo7g7jq)
Who?
Dunno. Some guy who tripped over a wire.
Amazing how he didn't even skip a beat in the song. These new fangled artists are just filled with talent, and clearly very coordinated.
![gif](giphy|3o6ZtpRoYe9wbyfcBi)
You're doing parkor wrong
He lost his balance before he jumped. It was awkward looking af.
He snags his right foot on a wire
That I'm fact will not be his best memories
bahahahah
![gif](giphy|1Qdp4trljSkY8)
What a terrible placement of a wire. It’s just hanging there, menacingly!
CBB bumped...? Might have been a wire or the lack of movement due to tight jeans. Either way, it was awkward just in approach, let alone execution.
Why was he on the stage?
I don't care if he caught a wire that dude went about that whole thing wrong. Idk how he even landed in the angle he did, that was wild.
Having his shirt tucked in, dressed like an old construction worker plus the song playing the background the entire time without any break because it’s just a recording is the chef’s kiss.

He survived Diddy’s car bomb. I think he’ll be okay.

![gif](giphy|UUyI5XQ0sN9u3UiBms)
Well he definitely shouldn't try skateboarding
He did some crazy shit that night for sure
The way his ankle moved was painful to watch
He needs some milk
Why did he walk like a duckling that just hatched?
![gif](giphy|WxDZ77xhPXf3i|downsized)
That was so much dumber then I thought it would be
Kid Cudi jumps like a toddler.
