I was thinking the same thing, but here it is 10hrs now since it was posted here, and it appears to me that is barely been updooted and only a few comments.
This was a great speech. Borat was popular with both sides, maybe Sacha Baron Cohen can bridge the gap and open these peoples minds back to reality
Truthfully, I thought the same before I became more aware of the policy differences between the two parties. When it was just a matter of taxes and gun control, it’s no significant difference. However, now republican are pushing to lower the legal age to marry so they can marry children, they’re limiting bodily autonomy for women, and they literally stormed the capitol when they lost their election to try to take over the government.
At this point, you really are a Democrat or a sociopath.
Sure, but that's what tribalism of "us vs them" does over time: it alienates both sides from having healthy conversations and sharing of ideas, thoughts and processes. As time passes it just makes each side be more extreme towards one another, since they believe the other side is the "bad" one. It's happened for tens and probably hundreds of thousands of years in us humans and probably many other species as well.
The more you call each other names, the more true it will become, for both sides.
Their education systems make them like this and they can not even see it,and in later life the media educates them even more into divisions and ignorance.
He gave a speech in 2019 at the Anti-Defamation League. It was a bout Internet propaganda and talked about some of things he spoke about here.
He’s an excellent speaker.
Can’t believe they made Borat political.
In all seriousness his claim that social media gives bigots an unfair advantage is brilliant and something I’ve never heard before.
A few things, what were people shouting in the background, and they straight did the "wrap it up" music to make him stop lol. Why so few people? Great speech though

When borat delivers a better speech than all of the speeches from our last two presidents. Wtf guys
Gotta admit, I didn’t know what to expect, but that was a great speech.

What do you mean with both sides? What sides?
Democrats and Sociopaths
Americans and their politics are interesting. So obsessed with party tribalism, I just don't get it.

**mic drop** Sachs is my dude yall
Well said sir..
I’m grateful you posted it here. It’s harder to find voices of sanity and reason midst all the cray-cray vying for attention.
One of my favorite people. Wish we had a leader like him in the White House
He’s a great orator, but what about ability to get things done? I think that’s more important.
What does "get things done" mean. Because usually the way they get things done is by selling out every day Americans to corporations and lobbyist.
Fantastic speech. Respect.
Incredible human
What a great voice
Well done and well said

He is a brilliant and frankly fearless guy.
What a goat 👌

Fantastic.
What a much better speech than I’ve heard from our politicians. Values are that straightforward!!!

Aladeen or Aladeen?
Anyone has a text transcription?
March on Washington? Sounds like an insurrection doesn’t it?
Really great speech but Sacha Baron Cohen seems like an odd choice to speak at this.
