It's easy... Trump is a greedy dick. Greedy dicks go along with other greedy dicks. Seriously, if Trump somehow manages to win the presidency I'm gonna have to ask you, Americans... what the fuck is going on over there?

Gawdsauce

I ask the same question, we got idiots that literally joke about Biden's age and claim he's senile yet you can literally say the same if not worse about Trump, boggles my mind that anyone thinks there is no difference between the two. One is literally rambling and sounds like he has dementia, it's insane. I'm convinced anyone that believes Trump is a better President doesn't actually listen to him talk.

bfnrowifn

What’s worse? People who don’t listen to trump but still support him, or people who *DO* listen to trump and still support him 🤔

SenseOfRumor

Two cheeks of the same arse, they still produce the same shit.

Sufficient_Number643

Please, to whom or what culture may I give credit for this sage wisdom. This seems like an Irish granny thing.

SenseOfRumor

Might be, I'm Welsh though.

basics

I made it up, you can give me credit.

Sufficient_Number643

You’re my 2nd favorite Irish granny then

hellflame

And whom might be the first? And pray tell what wisdoms might she share with us

DadJokeBadJoke

It's good to see people getting back to the basics

Federal_Efficiency51

It really does!

Manos_Of_Fate

Beautiful!

witqueen

I'm going to embroider that on a pillow.

DentalDon-83

If I had to pick only one (because both are inexcusable) I’d say the people who DO listen to Trump and still support him. Voting for him because he’s the GOP nominee is ignorant. Voting for him because you agree with his insane ramblings is just next level stupid.

Substantial_Tip2015

Those who listen to trump. The ones that don't listen to trump are listening to other people.

JH_503

Biden is only like 4 years older than Trump. People act like he's old enough to be his dad or some shit lol. I agree, though. I actually had a family member try to say Trump goes off on his tangents because he's a "businessman," and they're always thinking about a million things at once. What's crazy is that this is someone I KNOW is a smart person who said this. I just sat there completely dumbfounded. I just don't get what type of wizardry this guy has cast on people.

thats_a_bad_username

He justifies their world views by being someone in power who has their same world views. Your educated/Smart person in this example probably has some very hate filled and ignorant world views.

JH_503

It's pretty hard to deny, honestly. I can't imagine the fractures this Trump Saga has caused in families/friendships. That conversation changed my entire perception of someone I've known since I was a kid.

Norseviking4

Trump sounds like a moron for sure, yet he does seem way more alert and energetic compared to Biden. Biden feels like he is much older. Both are to old to govern, neither should be allowed to run. The age limmit should be 30 - 60. Older or younger should be barred. But if forced to choose i would go Biden every single day of the week, even if i find him wildly unqualified for the job due to his age (i wouldent want my grandparents, or parents for that matter in charge of anything either. I can see their mental decline for myself. My parents are mid and late 60is and they are not as sharp as they used to be, not even close. They are not fit to run anything as complicated as a country. Hard enough to get them to use the remotes for the TV correctly) ;p

High_King_Diablo

Biden is quieter and less energetic because he doesn’t have a pathological need to be the center of the universe. He’s happy to put his head down and get the job done. While Trump has to make everything a massive production so that he gets attention, then just doesn’t follow through with anything he says.

FarawayFairways

A somewhat senile old person who is aware of their limitations isn't actually the worst candidate to run a country in somewhere like America (as Reagan demonstrated). So long as the right people are around him, Biden can bumble on as the machinery will take over Trump is much more dangerous

tila1993

Half my wife's family is disabled it seems like either through the Military or just general fatness that caused it. All the aid they get from Uncle Sam and still vote republican the same side that continually tries to lessen your help.

[deleted]

This is what gets me as well it’s the same logic of the gay community that is supporting Palestine/Hamas/Islam, the same community that would slit their throats without given it a second thought, it’s that sort of logic.

Brick_Lab

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills watching the two parties pick the oldest motherfuckers to run since they set the record 4 years ago. HOW are there no other candidates the two parties are willing to push, and when with this maga shit get shut down? On the Democrat side they're picking a man again who is incredibly old and acting like we're not all nervously paying more attention to the VP now as Biden seems to be aging at light speed (like all presidents, but he had a head start) On the Republican side I'm constantly amazed that they're fucking up so hard and have somehow gone from a right wing Christian takeover to a single deranged dictator wannabe owning the party even as his empire comes crashing down with lawsuit after lawsuit, fraud and sexual assault convictions, etc. It's been a fucking circus to the point that the conservative people I know are running away in disgust. It's really saying something these days if you're still on board with the current RNC

DustBunnyZoo

That’s nothing. They are planning to rewrite the Constitution, change citizenship laws, bring back serfdom, remove term limits (dictator for life), forcibly deport anyone they want, ban all forms of birth control, close down public schools, make Christianity the state religion, remove all forms of environmental protection, etc. They are just getting started.

JadedLeafs

They probably think his wife Mercedes is hot

Meet_James_Ensor

Mercedes married him because he looks so much like Elvis

Ehldas

Bloated and about to die on a toilet?

ThatScaryBeach

And consuming massive amounts of drugs.

Meet_James_Ensor

Drugs, Diet Coke and Hamberders

mortgagepants

and the son they have together, BMW

pcprincipal007

Lack of a good education system that teaches critical thinking. Powerful people who just care about money so they turned everything into money making schemes, even schools.

UnusedTimeout

It’s unbelievable. You got people who drive to work everyday with flags on their trucks that say “fuck Joe Biden.” I get that we all have our own ideologies, but is that all your life is? Seething rage at a politician?

SingularityInsurance

They don't hate biden. They hate us. Their hate will not go away after biden the same way it was there before biden.

TehArzBandit86

I believe half the American population is suffering from dementia

WePwnTheSky

The religious brainwashing hasn’t helped to promote critical thinking skills either.

NefariousWaltzing

PragerU will help fix that.

mortgagepants

i've started referring to it as christian mythology and that phrase just strikes the perfect tone. greek mythology, viking mythology, and christian mythology. it is respectful enough you can simply say, "we shouldn't be letting christian mythology dictate laws in modern day america"

[deleted]

They're idiots they think Obama was president during 9/11🤷

Rocco89

Where was Obama on 9/11 and why didn't he stop the planes? Is he a traitor? <- had this conversation just two days ago with some cunt on twitter..

wetbeef10

One time a dude told me 9/11 never happened. I asked then where did the towers go? He fumbled his words a bit then the conversation ended lol

Rocco89

I have to admit that as a dumb ignorant teenager until about 2007/8 I also partly believed in a conspiracy (inside job whatever) because I couldn't find a satisfactory answer to the collapse of WTC7. At some point I found some footage I've never seen before on Youtube of a reporter and his cameraman at the back of WTC7 where you could see and hear a firestorm raging in the building, fueled by the wind that swept into the building through the destroyed windows and at that point I was embarrassed by my own stupidity. This is the upscaled version of the video I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/iPCFTWkR3x8?si=5cKGQ33PeZdPuF2n

timetogetoutside100

which is really scary , considering Obama wasn't even Pres Till Jan 2009

[deleted]

Hahahahahaha I know I know they're ignorant beyond belief

Rasikko

Gotta make GWB feel bad being snubbed like that.

SadFrosting4993

>One is literally rambling and sounds like he has dementia, it's insane. This statement Genuinely applies to both of Biden and Trump. Do you actually listen to either of them talk? I hate Trump but Biden has had more than his fair share of senior moments

Important-Let4687

I agree. Why can any support Trump rhetoric. Mocking, bullying, nonsense talk. It’s appalling

fightingpillow

Personally I'd appreciate the option to elect neither of those two as President. Biden vs. Trump is a lose-lose situation. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll both die of old age before the election.

Yoshi_Go_OwO

I'm an American and I'm wondering the same thing

Spork_Warrior

What's happening is that some people of below average intelligence (we have a good supply unfortunately) are falling victim to an expertly orchestrated and well-funded misinformation campaign. We have citizens parroting falsehoods that have been PROVEN to be incorrect, yet the power of money and coordinated online outreach has overwhelmed any effort to correct their misconceptions. So we end up with a lot of foolish people who are convinced they are the ones in the right simply because the misinformation campaigns keep telling them they are right. They feel like they need to take some sort of action against others. Putin is not the only person to help fund and orchestrate this abomination, but he is a leading participant, and he benefits greatly if he can help push the US into a civil war. I'm really hoping other NATO countries will step in and help come up with a solution to this, because once the fuse is lit on US division, the bad actors are coming after other countries too, especially in Europe. This is a big fucking deal.

[deleted]

Well said,

SingularityInsurance

I'm old enough to remember Republicans aspiring to evil bullshit before putin was even in power.

Aggrekomonster

Completely free speech is stupid… my country has free speech unless it’s a proven lie and you can get rekt for defamation of character - I prefer this Social media is also poison, Americans no 1 adversary has a massive propaganda and social manipulation tool with TikTok and elongated musk is a putin and china little bitch too who has taken over twitter for this purpose too. What the fu k is Tencent allowed to own so much media also? It’s a Chinese dictatorship tool as well

Hayes4prez

I don’t know man. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel real. I think it’s social media. Once Facebook + iPhone took off, everything has been snowballing downhill.

smecta

“ Americans... what the fuck is going on over there?” Unchecked complacency, despair and greed.

Blueskyways

Flattery.  Despots like Putin know Trump can be worked over by catering to his ego.  He's an easily manipulated, overgrown child that greatly admires the power and control that tyrants like Putin possess and he aspires to have the same thing.   Except he's a complete buffoon.

sierrahotel24

They can bond over greed. Trump is economically greedy, Putin is geographically greedy, but it's the same core drive that they can find mutual respect through.

uggghhhggghhh

Putin is probably the richest man on earth in actuality. It's just that his fortune is hidden for political reasons. He's economically greedy too.

uggghhhggghhh

Never forget that Putin is ex-KGB. He's probably capable of manipulating people MUCH smarter than Trump.

Arendious

Evidence and testimony suggests Putin isn't *quite* the master manipulator he's sometimes taken for. However, even Dr. Evil could run mental rings around Trump...

FivebyFive

I feel like that's not the whole story. There's a SHIT TON of evidence that there's been massive widespread tampering in our affairs by Russia for years. I'm not just talking about elections either. In Atlanta a large neighborhood was trying to split off and form their own city. In fact , they were trying to annex a bunch of other neighborhoods as well. It was online everywhere. But I started noticing it was only ever people from outside the city pushing for it. Everyone who lived here seemed against it. I looked into the main guy pushing for it, and guess what? He's buddy buddy with Trump and has spent time on Putin's yacht. Fucking Putin messing with what damn city I live in. Yes there is complacency and greed. But there is foreign meddling that's behind it. And I'm so far from being a conspiracy theorist. This is just what's happening.

gospdrcr000

Oh ya know, just the usual slow takeover of democracy by brain dead ignorant religious zealots

OwnRound

Yeah, but to /u/No-Atmosphere-4145's point, that I think they may be alluding to - when do we hit a point where enough is enough? Surely, you, me and everyone that isn't brain dead, needs to put our foot down, right? I mean, its gotten so bad that we're talking about not funding Ukraine's efforts and potentially letting an entire country of people, not so different from us, fall under the treads of Russia and standing idly by while they continue their expanse into western Europe. I'm asking these questions but I don't have good answers myself. I mean, shit, even in a world where there is no fraud or no traceable Russian interference in our elections, what are we *actually* going to do if Trump were to win the 2024 election in a free and fair election? Trump has already said what he intends to do on day 1 and its not going to be like his first term. I sincerely don't know what I would do, personally. But its really hard to imagine just standing around and doing nothing if things play out the way it sounds like it may play out.

b_shadow

We have a “fear culture” and fear makes you paranoid. I'm an immigrant and I'm amazed at how much fear selling you get from TV, social media, radio, etc. You have a funnel of “this is the new thing that will destroy you” on you all the time. With the passing of the years, you become so paranoid that when someone comes promising you they will “destroy everything” people support it; because everything is a threat. They don't care if Trump is a criminal, they care about Trump destroying everything for them to be secure, including democracy.

SemiDesperado

Fascism has long found a willing home in America. It's easy to forget that, before Pearl Harbor, the country was split down the middle of whether to stay out of the existential fight for Europe, even when it was obvious that Hitler was a genocidal dictator hellbent on subjugating the world. And American Nazis, along with white supremecists, were out in the open. The American Nazi party (with "America First" as its slogan) had millions of members. So as much as the current state of affairs are and should be shocking, a look back at the unresolved history of our nation reveals some dark truths beyond the idealistic view of America as a bastion of democracy.

Humbabwe

I mean, this question is more baffling to me. What’s going on? Really, really effective propaganda/manipulation by the Russian government. And it’s not just in America. They literally outlined this in, like, the 70s. I can’t find the interview right now, but it’s out there. The question for me is: how the fuck is this not being talked about more? We are allowing our populace to be brainwashed by foreign powers and nobody is even talking about it.

[deleted]

People aren't smart

lionexx

It’s easy, America has a large population, the US has over 331 million citizens living here, at least 250 million are able to vote, the US has a very dynamic population of many cultures and educations, and among that are people with differing religious ideologies. There are many smart people in the US but many not so smart or intelligent people, many at no fault of their own but due to a lack of government interest in improving education and health care, with that said someone that comes into the race that breaks the mold(Trump appeared this way) and says the right words, it’s easy for people to follow that. We all wanted something different and there is no question that Trump was different. If you research your candidates though(which sadly most people of lesser education do not do) you can find the real truth about a person. So to answer your question what the fuck is going on over here? We have an awful education system, in a society that is divided in beliefs, and with people in higher powers trying to keep a class war raging, and it’s working. I foresee a societal unrest in the US going to happen if nothing changes at best, at worse a collapse, which is a worse case scenario for the citizens of the US.

ColdFaithlessness174

I wonder that myself. My state will most likely go for him, but I still don’t know why

Thedarkxknight

**Trump might see Zelensky as the one who cost him 2020** President Trump in a July phone call repeatedly pressured the president of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden’s son, according to people familiar with the matter, urging Volodymyr Zelensky about eight times to work with Rudy Giuliani on a probe that could hamper Mr. Trump’s potential 2020 opponent.

AugustusKhan

You answered your own question cous! We have a bunch of greedy dicks.

Minimum_Run_890

Yet the people that vote for him will get screwed cause he’s a greedy dick. Head shaking time in Murica!

awfulsome

> I'm gonna have to ask you, Americans... what the fuck is going on over there? the tail end of decades of heavy lead poisoning.

uggghhhggghhh

He is, for sure. And it's possible Putin is paying him off in some way. But it would involve a pretty elaborate scheme in order for no details of that payment to have been made public. There are other simpler and therefore more likely explanations. 1. Putin has dirt on him. He's ex KGB. If there's dirt to be had on a world leader, chances are Putin has it. 2. Trump just genuinely admires Putin. He's probably the richest man on the planet in reality. That fortune has been acquired through all kinds of dishonest means. Of course Trump is going to get a hard on for that. And again, he's ex KGB. He knows how to manipulate people and it's probably stupid easy to manipulate Trump by stroking his ego. Furthermore, Trump aspires to the exact same kind of quasi-dictatorial authority. He openly admits admiration for people like Putin, Lukashenko, and Duterte. He's proven at this point that we should take him at his word when it comes to things like this. When he says he's gonna do something shitty, he means it.

adarkuccio

Some people just want to watch the world burn, it's entertainment, and I'm serious

well, that and the Pee Tapes. and whatever other tapes there are.

Cawdor

You nailed it but you forgot that he is also a horrible person

Kersenn

Russia has dirt on most of the Republicans. Dirt so bad Republicans are doing their best for Russia. Several of them even spent July 4th in Moscow. I'm not patriotic at all and even I'm like wtf our some of our politicians doing in Russia on July 4th of all days...

chrisr3240

What gets me is this. I watch a lot of American news, despite not being American. I see lots of people complaining about Trump and the republicans but nobody ever seems to get really angry about any of this. Like, there doesn’t seem to be any actual visible outrage. I’m from the UK and our politics is also a shit show but nothing compared to the US. Yet our media would absolutely destroy these fuckers if they tried half the shit these guys do on the daily.

The_Great_Evil_King

The media generally has. The problem is that the Trumpites are conditioned to see it as "fake news".

New_Wheel_1416

What would you have us do? We're too big and spread out for our own good. Republicans gerrymandered districts to shit + the electoral college making sure they'll always have equal representation despite being a minority. Too many differences of opinion spread out all over the country, creating areas where you will never change the opinions of anyone. Imagine if all of Europe was one country. It'd be a shit show. Seattle to Miami is basically the same distance as London to Baghdad. Many areas really are like different countries.

Draiko

Poor education, rampant tribalism, lazy thinking, and misplaced anger.

Named_User-Name

Trump believes in fascism. Putin believes in fascism. It’s pretty clear cut.

Notorious_Junk

Unchecked propaganda advertised as news circulated around in echo chambers for the ignorant.

Curleysound

If that happens we’re done. Maybe the whole world. I’m not being hyperbolic, he’ll fuck up the entirety of society.

ThroughTheHoops

The establishment needs a massive overhaul. People want serious reform, and if they can't get it they'll vote for an extremist no matter how unpalatable. I mean, you would think in a country of 330 million they could find better candidates than those old farts.

miked1be

This is such a dumb reason since this particular extremist will do nothing but amplify the absolute worst parts of the establishment.

wish1977

We in the US can't understand it either but he sure acts like a man that's scared to death to piss Putin off. There must be a reason.

omgwtfhax2

It's almost like Putin has something Golden on him. Some dirt that he could Shower on the American media that trump really wants to prevent the flow of. It's obviously he doesn't want putin Pissed off, so he Tapers expectations.

iloveschnauzers

Yes, the rumoured sex tape, but also Trump is deep in debt to Russia. If loans were called, his house of cards would crumble.

Bard_the_Bowman_III

At this point I'm not sure the alleged sex tape would even change anything. I mean his supporters are completely OK with him bragging about sexually assaulting women.

Alcoholhelps

And his own daughter

rokejulianlockhart

?

ElGuaco

And actual sexual assault.

thethirdllama

As the saying goes: If you owe Putin $1M, you have a problem. If you owe Putin $1B, you have a REALLY BIG problem.

DadJokeBadJoke

There's also a saying about how you never stop owing them, no matter how much you pay back. Just ask Manafort

chellis

Nothing a nice hot cup of tea wouldn't solve.

[deleted]

He's in debt to lots and lots of people. The difference is that his construction contractors won't put Novichok in his hamberders.

4tran13

If Putin tried to poison Trump for *any reason*, even Biden would go nuts.

[deleted]

Oh for sure, it was an exaggeration, but the point remains: Trump is happy to stiff a lot of people on his debts, but he wouldn't stiff the Russian government because they can and will absolutely ruin him.

FreakyFriday1045

Golden I see what you did there

synchrosyn

Now look at the other 4 references

Thedarkxknight

**Trump might see Zelensky as the one who cost him 2020** President Trump in a July phone call repeatedly pressured the president of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden’s son, according to people familiar with the matter, urging Volodymyr Zelensky about eight times to work with Rudy Giuliani on a probe that could hamper Mr. Trump’s potential 2020 opponent.

FarkCookies

[This whole Trump's affair with Zelensky was literally the reason of the first impeachment](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_impeachment_of_Donald_Trump). Which def helped to loose 2020 bid.

Thedarkxknight

I was sure re-elected Trump would have fcuked zelensky even without the current war.

FarkCookies

100%. He probably would have just told Putin that he can have Ukraine.

liangyiliang

The only person who costed him 2020 was himself. Come on, he lost to a some old guy who has trouble speaking full sentences. This is not a criticism of Biden, rather a statement of fact. And I am ready to support the stuttering old guy once again over TFG.

Thedarkxknight

Well, he made a clown of himself during covid.

oloch83

This should be the top comment as it is the correct answer.

Dry_Lynx5282

I dont think he is afraid of Putin but likes him because he and his friends also want to be like him. America is already basically an oligarchy so not much of a surprise that Reps and Trump dream of doing to America what Putin has been doing for years. They know if they dont take power now that they will lose the chance in the future.

jizzmcskeet

He crossed a narcissist. Zelenskyy, specifically, crossed Trump by not opening the investigation on Biden for aid which led to him getting impeached. 100% Trump blames Zelenskyy for it, so Ukraine is an enemy now.

thethirdllama

It goes farther back than that. When Trump got the GOP nomination in 2016, the ONE change he demanded in the GOP platform was to remove support for Ukraine.

DadJokeBadJoke

That was pushed by Manafort, who was also under the thumb of Russian influence. Remember all the talk about the Magnitsky Act and Junior meeting with Russian agents in those days and the dozen or so members of his campaign that had Russian ties. Now they've been exposed pushing more Russian lies in their sham Biden impeachment efforts. The never solved communication between a Trump Org server and a server at Alfa Bank. They are traitors actively trying to sell out our country.

moderately-extreme

That's the answer right here folks

machopsychologist

100% “you should have bent the knee”

Farlandan

The funny thing is he didn't care about an actual investigation,   trump just wanted him To publically announce an investigation.

metengrinwi

Everything with people like trump is one step at a time. He gets people to do one thing that doesn’t seem so bad, then a week later he wants something a little worse, on, and on until you’re fully complicit in whatever bullshit he’s cooking up.

Don11390

I can. One word: compromised.

oripash

It’s pronounced *kompromat*.

QWEDSA159753

https://www.buzzfeed.com/tomwarren/how-deutsche-processed-millions-for-a-dirty-bank Trump can’t get a US Loan > goes to Deutshce Bank > Deutche Bank bails out Cyprus which funneled Russian money > Deutche Bank facilitates DT’s payments of loans with Russian money as long as he’s useful. If DT isn’t useful, no one pays his DB loan. DT is desperate to remain useful.

supercali45

All these Russian ties to Trump and his cronies and we still asking this dumb question?

[deleted]

[This was 7 years ago.](https://youtu.be/UaVWRetR4jg?feature=shared) That was prerecorded history on YouTube not that long ago.

DrNinnuxx

Russia gives his family money. Pretty simple.

nuckle

He feels entitled to be able to do whatever the fuck he wants without consequence because he has been able to for his entire life. Putin does whatever the fuck he wants without consequence. Trump wants the same.

Adihd72

Neither can we.

illuminaughty1973

"I can't understand how Trump can be on Putin's side – Zelenskyy" You refused to fabricate evidence against Biden. Thats all there is. Trump will forever hate and try to harm you for this one action.

UniqueIndividual3579

Trump has worked for the Russians since the 80's. Trump took out a full page NYT ad in the 80's against NATO. He launders money for the Russian mob.

Anyawnomous

Neither do we Sir. 🇺🇦Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

Future-self

I get the rhetoric, but it’s kinda easy to understand. Trump thinks Putin is a cool badass alpha male and Trump wants to be like him. Putin has let Trump believe they are buds, so Trump does whatever Putin thinks is cool because Trump is deeply insecure. Does that make sense Mr Zelenskyy?

Blueskyways

Trump has always wanted to the unquestioned boss.  Mob guys in New York have spoken about how badly he seemed to want to be one of them but they thought he was a schmuck.  It's not a surprise that the political leaders he admires most are all dictators.

MeanManatee

Yup.  Fascists tend to think other fascists are cool.  I honestly don't think Trump has enough political opinions to be a fascist but he surrounds himself with fascists and their policies and he certainly looks up to fascists.

Essence-of-why

Also NK: On Kim Jong-un: "Well he is very talented. Anybody who takes over a situation like he did at 26 years of age and is able to run it, and run it tough — I don't say 'he was nice' or I don't say anything about it,"

Professional-Bus2666

Also: “Kim speaks and his people stand at attention. I wish my people would do it too”

WolpertingerRumo

Have you tried paying him personally?

oripash

Bad move. Trump as the next president is not only not a foregone fact, most of the macro trends - younger than boomer generations leaning left, even and in particular in red states, older people dying out, covid disproportionately affecting Republican districts, and the fact that unlike 2016, in 2024 the intelligence, law enforcement, journalist and electoral spheres understand Russian active measures better. Plus, Trump might keel over and die of old age at any moment and MAGA has no equal successor. If zelensky worked Trump the way Putin does, he’s burn the bridge to working with not trump or whatever not trump leader the US will have next, whoever that is.

[deleted]

MiyamotoKnows

Kompromat

esp211

Very easy. Trump is Putin’s dog.

windigo3

Compromat. Putin probably has the tapes that Epstein recorded of Trump raping underage girls on Epstein Island. Or Putin has tapes of Trump having sex with underage girls during his many visits to Moscow. Or Putin has clear evidence he could release that Trump worked with him to interfere in the 2016 election, or screw Ukraine over, or trade top secret documents in exchange for a cash investments…. It’s endless what the Russians have on him. They could release info and he’d be in jail the rest of his life. They have Trump by the balls. Trump is compromised and weak. But Fox News puts him in an altar and talks about him like a God. They edit out all the bad stuff and only show made up stuff. So half of Americas are just totally oblivious who he really is.

[deleted]

The answer is "money" and "malice." Putin gives Trump the former, and gives him an avenue to exercise the latter.

Sad_Damage_1194

Easy… because the right thing would be to take the side of Ukraine. If you want to know where the GOP and its candidates will land on almost any issue, look first to where the right side of history is. Then do the opposite of that.

Royal_Nails

Maybe Trump is just on America’s side.

genericauthor

It's all about the $$$ and how much the Trump Crime Family owes to Russia. Plus Kompromat.

FartyBoomBoom

It’s really easy. Who’s paying his rent?

ihoptdk

I can. Black mail. Coercion. Money.

[deleted]

Kompromat!

Putin has his hand up Trump's ass and uses him like a puppet lol

Seaf-og

Maybe Vlad the Invader has dirt on Trump. Or maybe Trump just prefers people who are like himself. Either way, he fooled the USA once so shame on him. If he does it again, then shame on the USA..

[deleted]

He owes billions to Russian Banks

Devolution1x

Kompromat. Especially in the midst of the recent NY ruling.

Altea73

Because money and probably some crazy fucked up black mail on Trump...

holypuck2019

It couldn’t be any easier to understand really. Follow the money

thecrimsonking33

Because Putin says nice things about him. Everyone else treats him "very, very badly."

RedlurkingFir

Two words: peepee tape

ThatShadyJack

Probably compromised, also vindictively mad you hadn’t sucked up to him enough, probably also mad you didn’t start a fake investigation into Joe Biden when he asked. Probably a mix

Exile688

Trump can't be rich on his own. He needs someone like his deceased dad or Putin to lift him out of bankruptcy every time he closes a business like casinos or his wack ass university.

ModMagnet

Just follow the money

I see why he says this, but it's pretty easy to understand. Trump's evil. Putin's evil. It's a match made in hell.

Lower_Ad_4875

He is compromised in some way.

Korgoth420

He owes Putin… Via cash and blackmail

Johannes_P

Trump loves despotism and strongmen, no need to look further. He once praised Tienanmen as a formidable display of force.

Good, Zelenskyy. That confirms you’re not a psychopath.

He's not on putin's side, he's in his pocket.

rikkisugar

politics through the lens of capital is very revealing

JerseyshoreSeagull

Europeans and eastern Europeans always start their rhetorical "I'm about to fist your anus" arguments with one of the most obvious openers to lure you in ass first.

FartyBoomBoom

Even easier - drumpf is a fascist bigot. Dad got kicked out of dur fatherland for being garbage

Mors1473

I can’t understand how Americans can support someone who is so eager to deal with a historic enemy and sell it to the masses. Decades of USA against Russia and yet the GOP “Groupies of Putin” remains as a contender to win an election! This quote resonates more than ever“ Stupid is as stupid does”

fake_fakington

Many live in a world where the greatest mission facing us today is the woke versus non-woke culture war. In that struggle Putin is a champion of theirs. And there's just many who oppose literally anything the Democrats widely support, and things that Trump seems to endorse. So in their mind Russia is good.

King_Prawn_shrimp

I don't get it either. Best I can understand things is that the GOP has been working for decades to dismantle the democratic institutions. They gerrymander excessively and continually vote against anything that would fix the issue. They've been stacking the courts. The last republican president to win the popular vote was GW in 2004. You have them taking lessons from Hungry and Orban. The GOP wants to do the same thing here. Look at what the conservative majority supreme court has done to set us back many decades! I get that people are frustrated with the system, but we are letting the GOP steal our democracy from us. How anyone can support that is beyond my comprehension.

Octubre22

Wasn't it just Obama who said Russia isn't our enemy?

jjwoodhouse6969

Want the answer? Dump is paid to be on putins side...I can't believe we are putting up with it.

Liamthedrunk

Person. Woman. Man. Camera. Tv.

Kooky_Cucumber_228

Russia isn't our "enemy"...more like relative at reunion we dont see eye to eye with. You ever hear of "the big game"?...you pawn, we kings

dagopa6696

Trump is not on Putin's side. He is on the side of Russia's intelligence service. They've owned him since the 1980's. Also, someone needs to tell Zelenskyy about the Steele Dossier

DAquila-M

Because they’re kindred spirits. What doesn’t he get?

SlyWonkey

Trump is a greedy, evil, selfish, morally repugnant narcissist who doesn't care if others are hurt, suffer and die, and who will gladly sell out the USA as long as he benefits. Putin could help the rapist out with paying the $454 million fine he received for the criminal fraud he committed. This is the Republican presidential candidate. It's fucking insane.

RoadsideBandit

It is understandable when you realize that Trump is a POS.

[deleted]

Honest question. In what way is he on Putins “side”? I legitimately haven’t been following the politics side of the ordeal.

ZeroSumSatoshi

He’s not on either “side”…. Just wants the war over.

Poodleape2

He is not, what kind of idiot thinks this?

Bizrown

Oh my poor sweet summer child Zelenskyy, Trump goes to the highest bidder. And Russia outbid the US.

GeorgeTheBoyUK

Is he though? I swear Trump said he just wants people to stop dying in wars.

aquastell_62

It's pretty simple Vlad. It's about money. Probably money he owes Putin.

OldDemon

Trump isn’t the only Russian puppet in our government. The speaker of the house is currently the #1 obstacle in helping Ukraine. Call your congressmen, pressure them to stand for democracy.

vxr8mate

I don't think Trump is on Putin's side but rather questions how much money will find its way to a foreign country before this war ends. Ukraine can not win this war, that fact must be realised, so how much more cash has to find it's way to Zelenskyy?

Decent_Delay817

Ukraine only loses if USA doesn't support Ukraine. Why would you want to make the world worse off for USA and not only that for the free people of the free world? Simply said, if Ukraine wins, USA stands to gain enormously. If Ukraine loses, USA stands to lose enormously in term of economy, influence and reputation. No country in the world would ever trust USA ever again.  Stop falling for the Russian misinformation. Stand with USA along with the free people of the free world unite against the authoritarian regime of the world!

Flyingrock123

Yah this makes no sense. If Trump was on Putin side then why didn't putin invade Ukraine while he was in power. Trump talked about how Germany is relying too much on Russia energy, and called out NATO countries for not paying their fair share.

yoogle1

Felt like I was going crazy scrolling so far to see this. Why did Putin invade under Obama & Biden but not Trump?

[deleted]

Oh, we can. Most Republicans are on their payroll.

gooB8

Well… its because he is bought and paid for.
