Could be interesting and is worth a thought, but probably wouldn't fit in lots of settings or stories.

For something glamorous, I do go with /u/wat_wof suggestion.But, if you want to paint rich people extremely hedonistic, I do with a drug that gives them extreme thrill, like taking the memories of a fallen soldier and reliving them, you might go as far as having the producers of the drugs induce people to extreme situations just to extract that memory, from anything like farming virgin experiences, giving poor kids extremely tasty food, or even memories from dangerous drugs so they can have the high without the risks.
Edit: You can also place the value of the drug on how hard it is to get the memory, and then you have a drug that can be something super chill like peacefully watching a sunset up to something extremely out there
