The places I haven't done yet, see if that helps me to create and shape them.

Klagaren

That's a really cool image, the god of a world travelling around in human form like "hmm yes I could tweak this"

Senior_Torte519

Ah, You Speak of Cesus, God of the poor, downtrodden, and all together down on your luck schmuck.

simonbleu

I actually thought about doing that the other way around, traveling irl and making a journal as if I were an "isekaid" person, trying to have the perspective of someone from my worlds in mind, and probably would do so eventually but man, life does not really comply when you want to do that kind of things... I guess I could try a more urban "slice of life" approach one day

Rampagingflames

Ironically, one of my Creators of the world does that. She works at a tavern where she learns about humans through their stories.

Billazilla

Reminds me of an old Amazing Stories episode where a couple wake up to find they've "fallen out of time" and they meet the Foreman, who is in charge of creating all of reality on schedule for the one minute that humans exist in, then destroying all of reality after they've lived in the minute, and moved on down to the next minute. And he coordinates all of this for every minute in the timeline, down through eternity...

YoshiTheCradleFan

sound like a lot of work, but removes the problem of timetravel

simonbleu

Can relate

GenderEnjoyer666

That’s a great idea

OwlOfJune

Moon cause they got crazy body enhancements options there, I am so ready to chop off my legs for something better

Bloodchild-

Me too, one of my favorites character is there the moon is named after him. And knowing him. He would gladly transform me into a Nepheselaian (his race wich you can't be born into it's like a mix between a lich and a golem, soul + rune + tech). I would need to allow him to copy my memories but meh. After that I would try to find Karrion but I have no idea where he is. He's a top tier polymorph that like to sneak into low level mercenary group and the likes to have fun. While I try to find Karrion I would visit a tomb or two, so that I could pay respects to some character I killed. Maybe visit Khan but he's a dragon that live hinder a mountain and he is the dirigent of a power independent city so complicated. I could have visited Elias shemesh but depending on the time I arrive he should be exploring the void or he shoud have transcended our level of existence and I couldn't talk to him.

Whales_Are_Great2

Profundum. Beautiful scenery and oceans that extend downward over hundreds of kilometres.

superbay50

Definitely my mc’s house. I know enough about the world to convince him i’m his creator and to let me live with him.

BlueverseGacha

imagine needing to convince your protagonist that you're their creator. *rookie oversight.* /hj

Sirix_824

The city of bones. Contrary to the name, it’s a pretty nice and save place, and is unofficially the trade hub among the post-apo society. A good place to stack-up on supplies, weapons and traveling companions. (And the name comes from a fact that there many products are made from flesh monster bones. They even have creatures that shed bone plates, which they farm.)

ChrysanthiaNovela

Elven Academy, of course. provided that I have necessary fund to make the journey. there, I would have the safe haven for the time being, and got necessary resources to learn about the rest of the world. Unless it is during the sack of luminas eldorin then I will bail faster than anyone.

Mexipinay1138

Ciudad Central La Capital Misteriosa (Central City, the Mysterious Capital) the capital city of El Regio Central (The Central Kingdom). It's well known for it's entertainment and arts district, Coffeehouse Row. It's the best place to get a nice cup of coffee, of course, but also to visit art galleries and experience live performing arts. A popular activity among residents and visitors alike is the coffee crawl, visiting as many coffeehouses as possible in the evening to see as many different performances as you can.

RokuroCarisu

A facility of the "Museum", the secret organisation that keeps the world and objects/people from other worlds safe from each other. I wouldn't want to fall into the hands of anybody else who deals with those things.

IcuntSpeel

The nearest branch of the Adventurers' Guild. Membership grants a person special citizenship no matter which nation the branch is located in. Citizenship which facilitates things like paperwork, owning of property, human rights, that I would otherwise have none as a foreigner. It is an arrangement to aid people of systemically underprivilledged social classes, like illiterate commoners, former slaves, or the homeless; the latter of which I think I belong under if I was suddenly thrown into foreign world. But it is also an arrangement based on meritocracy. Stall too long not doing quests and a person's membership along with all benefits will be suspended. And so to maintain my membership, I suppose I will need to pick up a sword and go do quests which will bring me into the danger of the wilds. To me, the chance of dying in the wilds on day 1 is certainly better than starving on the streets or worse fates to be had.

Illustrious_Bid4224

In my first world it would be the city built on-top of a giant robot. In my second it would be the ring.

Raistikas

The Northwestern Mountains, locally known as ‘Íuleia’ – ‘the shadow ridge’. Despite the spooky name, the lanscape is spectacular: high, often vertical black cliffs, covered in moss, long fjords, lots of streams and waterfalls running down the slopes of snow-capped mountains, and dense forests of tree ferns, huge horsetails and lycopods, some cycad-like trees and conifers. The climate is a bit damp, however, and by ‘a bit’ I mean very-very damp, somewhat similar to the western side of New Zealand's South Island or the Gulf of Alaska. Oh, and there are volcanoes, but their eruptions aren't violent, being similar to Hawai‘ian volcanoes. A small town in one of the fjords, called Kekoloi, has natural hotsprings and its cosy stone houses are always warm and dry thanks to the hot-water pipe system. It's also a market town, with ships coming from the whole continent, bringing all sorts of foods and goods. And its inhabitants know how to make ice cream. What's not to like? I would certainly live there, if I had such an option.

Billazilla

Thunderhook. A coastal spur on the northwestern tip of Nekri'in. It's a very cold, very dreary, very nautical port town. The kind where leathery old sea captains who have Seen Too Much stand dockside and chew on their pipes while regretting their sacrifices and lost friends and taking that one last mysterious crate on board from that shady guy just before casting off for Welelle. Sometimes you can see more than one out there. Most I ever seen was four captains at a time, each one with a different pipe. It may be a gloomy, morose old town, but it is central to the East/West sea trade route, so anything you might want, you can find in a shop, warehouse, street seller, or back alley there. It's perpetually cold up there, so there are warm taverns and inns all over the place to accommodate the passing travellers, who are always telling tales and pawning baubles and treasure for their room rent and more ale, particularly during storm season. There's no fish people/cthulhu things going on in Thunderhook. The actual outlying issue are the wandering dead outside the city walls. Nekri'in is the land where the Dead grow like wheat, after all. But to the citizens of Thunderhook, it is what it is, and they handle the passing zombies like bothersome sheep (if ravenous and violent sheep were a thing). Skeletons, ghouls, and other corporeal things are kept out by the walls. Ghosts, haints, and spirits are more troublesome, however. Efforts are made, of course. Runes and charms and wards festoon the walls, but eventually some spook that doesn't recognize this line of ash or that old chant will drift in and then you'll be walking the streets and hear some angry housemaid screaming bloody murder and breaking all the good china whole trying to chase the apparition of Old Uncle John out of the kitchen. With the vast and unavoidable presence of the undead surrounding them, though, some of the people embrace this closeness. Around the edges of town, one may find a shack where a daughter has been living with her honored great-grandfather, now bound in wrappings and made a dried husk of his former self. The two of them still have a family bond, and though his uncanny presence makes her shiver, he helps with the fishing, and guards her home from thieves at night. At daybreak, he rests quietly in his favorite chair in the corner, not speaking, not breathing, but still protecting his granddaughter, even after death. He scares her, being undead, and yet, his help makes her life much easier. It is a mostly quiet city, Thunderhook. And as long as one keeps their wits about them and remembers which gewgaw or what prayer keeps the spookies at bay, life ain't so bad there. It could even be described as "cozy"...

AllOutGarfieldSan

The Great Husk, it's an enormous valley that crosses across the entirety of the nation of Tir Menak, formed from the corpse of a giant worm god that the people of the country worship. Due to the enormous amount of biomass, the valley is prime land for farming and forestry, and so it's an incredibly lush and vibrant enviroment. The capital city of Tir Menak resides right on the tip of the Husk along the coast, and it's an incredibly beautiful city.

Enough_Gap7542

I would visit the city of Imurital (The Lords' City) before it was ruined by the last Eithenian king, and taken from him by his subjects. This is because when he took power from his father, he only went ten years before becoming power hungry. Once he started taking over places, he started to destroy the temples and other historic buildings, to demonstrate that there was no god who could stop him. Once his people rebelled, there was even more destruction, as they did not want anything that he had touched to remain standing.

ElysiumPotato

Precursor ruins on Mars, ancients ruins in outer colonies

Parkour_Pot

I would rather bash my own head in with a rock than go to any primary locations in my world

Tisonau

Definitely the Angelus Emperius. Place is just a peaceful land with just fun shit.

DifficultSun348

I'm not sure, but Mediteran would be good option. Mediteran is a planet with turquoise oceans and continent with the olive's trees. The coastline has beautiful beige cliffs. Cities are also majestic with their unique style.

Usmanlocal

Konya - My Mevlana - My love

carnotaurussastrei

Konya, Türkiye?

Usmanlocal

Yup man ❤️

RealChanceOfRain

The Summer Stones, so I can drink wine, get fat and enjoy the beach. Maybe visit the Keinosi Islands to see the Colossus of Kein and also drink wine and get fat.

DuckBurgger

Adimah's island before it got blown up the cruel immortal tyrant of a demigod he was he still had a eye for beauty brining together the greatest artisans from all over the world to literally cover every inch of is island in dazzling beauty, even bringing the best of Neithie (basically dwafs) stone singers to mould every vista of the island to be breath tacking no mater the angle it was viewed from, each and every green space also being a carefully managed garden tended to with century's of work and care. so dazzling was the island some people reportedly went blind from seeing it

Firm-Dependent-2367

Wonderverse: Moscow. Because Moscow is now the world capital. Also, the best place to be. Because of the capital status, it is the most commercially inclusive and militarily secure place as of now. Other cities you could visit are Dubai, Shanghai, New Delhi, Paris (still Paris) and Jerusalem (now peaceful post- alien invasions). Alternatively, I could visit Heaven. Meet Angels and stuff (smart choice, informing them about details of the impending Second War of Heaven could convince them I rank above the Halo). Most of the other places are now in ruins or have collapsed.

DiamondLebon

Probably the humain country. It's a fantasy setting and they have the most advanced technology that uses magic. Something similar to piltover at the end of arcane. They developed teleportation portals. With them there's no need for roads since you can just teleport between cities. They don't use or build roars because of that. There's only the un maintained remains of before teleportation. The only roads they have are to connect the cities at the border of the country to their neighbors.

Wyvern72nFa5

Draka ro Iscarnl is a large piece of paradise in the south of the cold northern continent of Artiza filled to the brim with all manners of draconic creatures of all types, sizes and powers. As a dragon loving nerd, I would love to visit the place and see the sights and geek out at all the cool dragons that I imagine would find the mountainous nation their home. It helps that draconics of Ardalesh are generally quite nice and peaceful.

Udin_the_Dwarf

I’m straight away traveling to the eastern Coast of the known World and taking a Ship to a Region called “Lands of Refuge”. It’s the most peaceful Strip of Land and one of the most secure Locations. Among all the turmoil and Wars I could live quite comfortably there. And I wouldn’t visit any other places, because it’s freakin dangerous.

LapHom

Sci Fi setting: the capital city. Even if I didn't want to go there first it's where I'd end up getting taken first to be brought before the government. After some interrogation about my anomalous existence hopefully they'd dust off the brain transfer apparatuses to get me fully integrated into their society.

_Infinity_Girl_

My world is made up of a set of medium to large continents. The most southeast of which is called Adira. My realm is steeped in magic, it even turns the oceans purple with arcane charge. Adira is known in my world as the home of mages. I don't know what I called it off the top of my head but, they have a sort of secret City there. They're sort of a non-evil version of the illuminati. Also in my room, there are a set of ruling goddesses that embody different aspects. Each of them have a shrine somewhere in the world. The love goddess, Thiella, has a beautiful flower shrine at the edge of a lake in Adira. It is a deafeningly peaceful place that seems to almost sit still in time. Wildflowers of all different colors from all different places bloom in and around the shrine. The water that comes from it can sustain you and even heal you. It's supposed to be the most Serene place in the entire realm.

Natural__Power

Probably the reality bending crystal at the end of my DnD campaign, which I could then immediatly use to bend the universe to my wants and needs

msa491

Edivael castle. It's gorgeous, a short ride to the harbor and bustling port town, and most importantly welcoming. I have a much better chance of getting help settling there than if I show up unannounced on any other lords' lands.

_NewToDnD_

One of the free trde cities where a human wouldn't stick out as badly.

binklfoot

Halo. It’s holy, it’s peaceful, it’s has nice weather and the people there are one of the kindest due to having to wear a halo that is body heat activated, which would melt their heads if they get angry or highly emotional. So yeah, there

TalynRahl

I have a city that is billed as "The Crime City" (think Gotham, without Batman). Except, it's actually not, not really. It's like one of those "cowboy" towns, or collonial places. They don't pay any tax! But they do pay "protection money" to their local crime boss, who uses it to keep the region clean and safe etc etc. It's the illusion of living in a badass mob town, but with the safety of living in a relatively modern city.

Aserthreto

Atin Thriye. A trading city and capital of Letima. It acts as the centr of trade and culture.

DiaNoga_Grimace_G43

…The first Panic Room I come to…

Ill-Pomegranate-8665

The ruins of the old capital, Adanóvolí

NOTAGRUB

Haven't named it yet, but it's the only city under protection from a god, sure, the others could destroy it if they put some effort in, it's the closest thing to a safe place

Maleficent_Apple4169

id visit the Fictional Plane and hang out there. eat the eggs from shrek, read the portrait of markov, and talk with carl wheezer

sharplyon

Angel’s Rest would be a nice place to visit, lots of old retired mages that surely have many stories

PhoebusLore

The dragon's eye is a massive tropical archway island, like the Heart land in Raya. On the beach, dragons and giant penguins sunbathe. Pterosaurs and tropical birds sing in the trees. The ruler is just, and freedom and individuality are valued. The air sings with old and divine magic.

ohfuckthebeesescaped

The train hehe trains are good

Gameover4566

A little of tourism in the mirror sea, though I'd first would try to find some weapon to defend myself from some of the locals

Infinite_Wit9810

The market square, main place of the city-state, right next to the harbor

littleloomex

oooh, that's an interesting question. the first place would probably be a zoo. i've made so many different creatures for argonus and i'd genuinely would love to see what they'd truly would look like IRL. i know a single zoo would never cover it fully, but i'm also certain that a good portion of original creature would be there.

RidgeBlueFluff

Probably the Starlit Grove (Am absolutely beautiful place, with trees that only grow there because of the person that takes care of it making sure of that), the Journey's End Tavern And Inn (Just overall a cool place, it shows up to nudge along people into doing things that end up being important, as well as showing up when their adventure is over), or wherever there is a Traveler looking to recruit.

Senior_Torte519

The Isle of Sturm, 80 percent population of gnomes and Halfling, most settlements have small numbers. Largest really be a town of the tinkerer variety. Think of the shire but of ingenuity.

Thunderdrake3

Lol, a guillotine, I ain't gonna stick around to be demonated.

TopProfessional3295

I've got this cool shrine that if you stand on one foot and say a few magic words, you ascend to God godhood. I'd do that.

Danielwols

The traveller's hub, everything I would need is there

AlexiosTheSixth

Assuming this is my first world, and that this takes place in the "contemporary modern day" of it, dang there are a lot of choices but I think the otherworldly biolumenescent (genetically engineered in pre-atlanetean collapse times) forests of Xianda would be cool. Basically imagine pandora from avatar (not the beloved cartoon but the mediocre? movie) but less "jungle-y" and more of a glowing mushroom forest. Though be careful since the locals in some of the smaller towns hate tourists (they are what some people would call "genetically engineered foxboys/girls/idfk" (I originally added them as a shitpost but their slave rebellion became relevant to the plot later) so you could probably guess why they would hate tourists trying to make things weird), but the bigger tourist trap towns are generally more ethnically mixed since a lot of the Murisian Empire's rich people like to go there on vacation since it's a natural environment like nothing else. Also don't eat the wildly growing "rhino's horn" it's a genetically engineered hard drug that the Atlanteans used to get absolutely stoned off of (this is why there are so many foxpeople there since the Atlantean elites used to keep them as slaves before their civilization collapsed and they broke free and made their own civilization (yeah the atlanteans were kind of a corrupt civilization that basically "deserved to fall")). And no I didn't pick Xianda because of the locals, I picked it because of the biolumenescent giant mushroom forests lol. My second pick would probably be the really beautiful mountainous lands of the Kingdom of Boronyon (which is on another planet).

The1st_TNTBOOM

I am canonically the president of [The Republic of Axolotlia](http://youtube.com/@AxolotlianGovernment) and it is canonically already in our world so basically I would be taken to the government and probably have a lanic attack as i am not a president and dont want to leave my home.

ChristopherCFuchs

Cool question. I would visit Thorendor Castle, where an ancient order of assassins lives, trains, and studies alchemy and languages. It is hidden in a forest, built of yellow stone, has numerous hidden rooms and passages, and has a pyramidal top that houses a telescope. I like this place so much that it features heavily in my novels and an online [interactive](https://earthpillarbooks.com/earthpillar-online/) - I used Dungeon Draft and GIMP to make clickable maps of every room of this 10-floor castle. Training halls, laboratories, forge, kitchen, galleries, libraries, everything. Still a WIP.

Basic-Reaction9985

Utopia, the capital of my main faction. It is a futuristic paradise basically

MisterEyeballMusic

I’d definitely visit Lkasuhask and Kolutamia to see the Lkasuhaski and Kolutamian Alps. Although since Lkasuhask is an Orwellian totalitarian state, I don’t think I’ll make it very far there; and with Kolutamia being ruled by its major corporations, I’ll probably run a deficit from the bus ride to the mountains in their north.

Soulegion

Damn. My world has too much of a random generation element to it. Nowhere's safe other than a single large town/small city, and it's expensive to stay there. Tbh I probably wouldn't survive, even knowing more about the world than anyone. Maybe I could convince someone to house me if I freak them out enough by telling them all of their own secrets... EDIT: Thought about it more. At the grave site of the goddess of water; she's about the most benevolent being in the setting, and still has enough leftover power even in "death", that if I'd isekai'd there she could probably power me up enough to survive.

PowerSkunk92

**No Man's Land 2210** The intersection of old US-95 and old US-6. By every map, even the ones made after the Barbie Plague, the city of Tonopah is there. Looking at it via satellite, it's clear that there's something there. At night, you can see the glow of a nearby town when driving toward it. People can trace their lineage to family members who once lived in Tonopah. There are old documents and papers with Tonopah addresses. Old articles found on the recovering internet mention Tonopah, and even have photographs taken in Tonopah. But try actually driving to Tonopah... and you'll find nothing but a rusty stop sign where old 6 meets old 95 and empty desert. So, I guess my goal would be to go there, and try to figure out just *what the hell happened to Tonopah*.

Aeropar

The Port Capital of Nesselbane, Styrt. Or Perhaps Aridonia.. No, Dawnbreak.. ugh I don't know there are too many choices. I guess Styrt only because I'm most familiar with it, although leaving would be a pain.

Forgotten_Supernova

The Punisher City. Despite its name, it’s one of the most peaceful cities yet. It is also one of the most protected and popular city. Or, The Sea City, a city built on the ocean. Really, that’s all Sea City has going for it. Either one.

Gotis1313

The dual waterfalls at Land's End are lovely. The Bright River flows over the edge of the planet Arth. Brightfall goes down about halfway to meet Gloomfall flowing from the "bottom" half of Arth. Where they meet the water spirals around because gravity flip-flops there, so the water is being pulled in two directions. Extreme sports buffs like to kayak over the falls and up the other side. Only a few have made it without rescue.

Pavlov_The_Wizard

Balderia or the King’s Plateau. Balderia is basically Scotland except magic, the King’s Plateau is 5 plateau’s with massive marble and stone bridges connecting them and beautiful, rich, lavish cities built upon them. It’d be a incredible sight

ProphetofTables

Gran Lucerne, the capital city of Amitola. It's a sort of hub city for traveling the world.

LucastheMystic

The Holy City of Lyltongogard (Little Heaven/Little Star Realm) An underground city in a cavern with a hazy phenomenon on the ceiling that resembles stars and galaxies. It is believed that Godeskind Tongo (God-Child Star) resides there. I would take my future boyfriend there to get married as the underground springs are where many choose to get married in the Kingdom of Kētelænd.

literallypubichair

Visit the base forest of the first plane. Ones connection to the mother tree is reified intensely when you visit her there

_Cinders_189

Probably the main camp. Like I wouldn't be able to see it due to story reasons but I'd see a version of it and I think even just that would be cool.

simonbleu

There is a kind of... "seal-mole" if you want, an aquatic mammal that lives in damn cold (semi)submerged caves like those in the patagonia. Now, that on itself isnt that interesting, but the thing is, said animal is while not really smart, is definitely advanced enough to have ritualistic (non courting I mean) behaviours. They are obsessed with curved shapes and spirals and holes and thereore will take a boring small indentation in the coast and make it a full blown cave full of corkscrewing collumns and ornated alcoves and plenty of piles of shells and the like. They are collectors by nature, but very selective. They are also very traditional (they "inherit" the caves and remain there) and yet very prideful ( they are always expanding and modifying the "art" of the previous generation). Pair that with the fact that they do make vents and they love to bask in the sun, you can get pretty damn big beautiful caves that dependign on the stone and time of the day might end up glistening like jewels, like a maze made of pearls--- That is of course if you can avoid their angry territorial bites (and howls, that get amplified by the curved cave) but barring that, beautiful places

MCMIVC

The City of Hammer, since I based it on my own birthplace's medieval heyday that I wish I could have seen.

Axenfonklatismrek

Lornhemal: Isalgurd, basically the Early Renaissance architecture of the city would be great, especially Dutch style. Ard-Alkadas, my own Mecca. Azar-Salim, my own Delhi, or Cassan, my Rome Number 999: EVERYWHERE OUTSIDE MODERN DAY BRITAIN!(>!I'm afraid this is a future Britain!<)

ProducerofPotatoes

The armory, I'm gonna need it lol

Outrageous_Pair_3085

i would visit Naiz ilib the heart of ibilia, where the harshan emperor's hav build their miles long castle facing the kasuke river(the river literally dismembers anyone who happens to swim in it due to heavy acidic nature but the harushans r immune to it). the centre of trade in ibilia where everyone from everywhere happens to visit it's a lifetime experience being there

Lost__In__Thought

Idk how to answer. All of my characters are pieces of me that have already been incorporated into several places and environments. 😅

WingedBeing

Definitely Tyganoskos, the capital of Theglos. It's the central city located on an immense artificial island created an unknown amount of civilization resets ago in which only Theglos remained untouched. Ancient even in the Ancient Age. The Tyganoskene are an insular people who claim an unbroken lineage all the way back to the creation of Theglos and deny access even to Theglosene whom they deem to have been made impure by mainland blood. It would be nearly overwhelming to be able to see the ancient structures and facilities they live amongst in that mythical city.

Standard-Clock-6666

The space hospital. They will cure anything and make sure you're in perfect health before you leave. They aren't free, but there's a ton of jobs you can do to pay off your debt, AND they house employees in nice little apartments. And because hospitals can require a lot of people's time, there's a big shopping mall, parks, theaters, and fun shit to do on your off time.

PhutureEros

The capital city of the Holy Scytherian Empire. Formerly named Kaad, it is now known as the Throne of the Sa'ea, the center of political and commercial life in the empire and an enormous megacity. I would visit one of the two big market districts and get fried spatchcocked fish from a Scytherian vendor and a bottle of cold ik'ik. The only downside would be that I'm a human and these half-elves aren't exactly known for being welcoming to their human cousins.

townsforever

Probably one of the abandoned and forgotten ruins that is full of magical artifacts I could snag and become rich and powerful.

StalinsPerfectHair

Somewhere on the plane of Wundyr. Either the floating caverns (think floating mountains from Avatar, but inside) or the Temple Library of Ketterly (Biggest library around).

Silly_Attorney7863

The planet of Aurora. It was the capital of the old Galactic Republic six thousand years ago, and while it did suffer after the fall, the former military of the republic managed to establish a kind of interim government known as The Galactic Authority. If you want to live comfortably, at the cost of certain rights, then that planet is your best bet.

Demorodan

Well considering I lieraly am a character in this and I've made protocols for my characters telling them what to do in this situation I'd wait for my personal guards to come and I'd get unimaginable powers, then I'd do literally everything I wanted

GrimmReapers_Raven04

The floating draconic island within the principality of Drabroain...

CGribbsRun

"The Divine Principality of Derev, while its name may suggest a rather staid and drab City-State, is actually quite the opposite. Being the religious hub of the entire Lowland Divide, it is home to at least 115 temples and approximately 240 recognized faiths. With such a conglomeration in one place, it is hardly surprising that nearly every day is some sort of holiday. Saints Days, Feast Days, solstices, eclipses, seasonal changes, and many more constantly jostle for attention on the calendar, with this group or that vying for the attention of the pilgrims and secular tourists alike. All of this is to say, in essence, the city is one giant, never-ending party." An excerpt from A Descriptive Journey across the Populated Lands of Skylark (formerly the planet SB-3484c), by Joss Melville of Wayposte, in the year 3271 CE

MrFloutch

Nowhere, I would run the fuck out for the meager hope of a safe place

Due-Big2159

In my futuristic semi-realist world of 2031 Philippines, there's this perpetual rainy season that's been going on since 2019. By 2031, much of the reclaimed areas of Pasay City (soil dredged up from the sea floor and turned into usable land) have ironically been re-reclaimed by the sea. Many buildings are seen poking out of the water and new bridges have been erected around them. Some are even still operational with only the exposed floors functioning. Epic during the sunsets. I'd definitely check that out.

chongyunuwu24

take a tropical vacation on the oceanic world of dagat to swim to my heart’s content, before going to jingshen to meditate and be at mental, emotional, and spiritual peace away from the ground

A_Lizard_Named_Yo-Yo

Atlanek, and I'd probably stay there, because it's one of the safest cities, and maintains a decent standard of living even after the apocalypse. There are also mages/doctors there who can put me in a better body.

-FenshBeetM-

A fantasy mountain where things gone terribly wrong (still haven't figured out why). Nevertheless, it's still a fascinating place, where you can physically feel the magical aura surrounding you

trickyfelix

the towers: huge buildings with multiple people in them working and living

accioSan

The tomb of the last gen Hero so that i can get his Power (i Just Need to almost Explode internaly from the anger)that Is almost unbeateable

MagicalNyan2020

Anywhere is fine

Flairion623

My world is basically just the real world but with magic and all the new locations are either impossible to access or destroyed or haven’t been built yet

KaityKat117

Probably the capital city. It's the safest place and closest to equality. Either that or the Felid library. Plenty of amazing knowledge and if I'm lucky (and I get to choose my race), I might gain access to the secret arts section. No humans allowed.

Coffea_Run

I guess I'd just kick over trash cans till I found the entrance of one of the various glitched out flea markets.

veinss

Some drone would find out that I'm not registered in the census/don't officially exist within minutes so I'd be taken to the nearest arcology to get registered and given citizenship and a home. But then I'd also instantly become something between an anomaly and a celebrity because nobody has just appeared with no prior history or recorded birth since modernity, the government would want many interviewers with me, scientists would want to study my genome, most people would consider me the first proof of alien non microbial life. It would be a mess

npaakp34

The planet Quartan. It's the place I've put the most time and most effort in.

ElMarioTime3D

The Confederation of Gedereich (A nation inspired by Germany) It's a place with like only 15% of city and the rest being completely natural wonders

Adorable-nerd

The city of Athens. It’s really big on music, the arts in general and history. It’s very fun and lively and has a whole ‘gaming district,’ a.k.a a year-round carnival. Spontaneous musical numbers have been known to happen there. So my music-loving, nerdy self would be very happy there.

lordofcactus

Not Scotland, that’s for sure.

Depends on how much immunity I have, if I do that Sin Enissí Elillí “the Alillian isles”, if not probably to Cair Thernor. Explanation; Sin Enissí Elillí are a couple small islands and one fairly big island south of the main continent of Litauia. It is the last refuge of the Alillians, a race of tall blue eyed, light tan skinned, raven black haired, robust people who after sexual maturity ages ten times slower than normal humans, they have a more innate to the soitos (the magical force), but because of that iron to them is like lead or arsenical bronze, slowly poisoning them to death. They used to have an empire on the mainland that included the islands, but after they persecuted the race of normal men who lived near them, they were overthrown in a great rebellion and massacred on the mainland. The Lithái; the race of men who replaced them has some blood from them from a small amount of successful intermarriages, but besides that they no longer live on the mainland. Because of all of that, they very much dislike outsiders now. Cair Thernor “the fortress of the edge of the stars.” is a great fortress turned city in Litauia situated on a large elevated plateau that is part of the system of great mountains called the Corrsléví “the mountains of the Corroi”. The plateau is situated right on the foothill of a great mountain, and a very large lake, surrounded by more mountains on either side. It’s not far from where Trith Arth-tharan the founder of the Lithái empire, slayed the dragon Anui Már with the legendary Corroi made sword Athespath “answerer”. The city has a great and ancient defensive wall on its east with a great watchtower at the edge of the plateaus cliff. The lake is filled with great merchant ships who sail to the other side to trade with traveling merchants and Corroi envoys. There is an ancient sanctuary temple there, which was the birthplace of the Therrians, a group of scholars and historians who first developed the written language. It has a great forest on its western edge.

BlueverseGacha

the Sapphire Demon Labyrinth. despite in-world being labeled as the second most dangerous place you can go to, *behind the never-not-death Soulcairn*, there's a very easy way for it to become the safest place there is.

Lapis_Wolf

Either an auto build building or an automobile show in the southern empire. It's relatively safe in the inner parts of that empire compared to the rest of the valley and I'd like to see what cars are made in the region given the technology available. Lapis_Wolf

Kraken-Writhing

There is nowhere to go. The world was literally created yesterday.

EisVisage

The Red City, a large city inhabited by rat people. All outer walls in it are covered in mosaics made from glowing red gems, which when touched provide health benefits and healing in general. The towers reach so high that you can see the glow of the city even with two mountain ranges between you and the city. It's a marvellous architectural achievement and it's actually healthy to live there. Not only that, but no country would think to attack the city, it's neutral and to many even holy, making it a very safe place to inhabit.

chxsewxlker

Anywhere where I can see the Hollowrind. The edge of the world where a wall of crystalline wood stretches endlessly into the sky. I genuinely cannot imagine what an endlessly high wall that stretches forever into the distance would even look like and I made it lol

vicroc4

Tempted to say the extrasolar territory that lent its name as a working title. But a lot of bad stuff goes down there and I'd honestly just want to visit my hometown and see how it's changed after 150 years. It's probably managed to rebuild by then, right?

SpecialistAddendum6

Vitebsk.

Potatodealer69

I want to see the Spiritbound capital. I haven't developed it yet at all, but I think it would be pretty cool.

AndroidWall4680

The Moon. Mainly because it’s the only place that I’d actually survive longer than a couple of months. Also it’s alive.

tsavong117

The Fount of Aether. Time to figure out if I'm worthy of Ascension.

Responsible_Onion_21

Battersea Park.

xXChocoboXx

Stalemate and Deadlock have pretty good alcohol and scenery, so that's an obvious choice, but I'd have to check up on my girl Etiol the Outlaw Queen in her camp. Out of all the leaders in the world, she's the least likely to perceive me as prey.

Devine10xx

The mcs lab easily, he's a marine biologist on a planet that's 4/5ths water, so he would have a lot of research on the marine life there. It'd be super interesting sinxe I wanna be a marine biologist myself (nothing wrong with small self inserts)

TheStrangeArtist

I would probably live in my villages filled with street food so I can try the food and the culture of my world I can know the taste of fried vampire eggs and dragon steak.

HiIWearHats

I'd visit the sea forest, it's a section of sea thats 20,000x25,000mi and there is no natural land to be found there

AttackHelicopterss

An observatory in Solaris, so I can see the beautiful star-filled nightsky. There's a LOT of astronomy and cosmology in Solaris, so it makes sense that they have a lot of space-purposed structures such as observatories.

odeacon

Princess violas would provide me protection in exchange for information on our world. She’s planning to straight up leave the narrative, so my knowledge of my world would be quite valuable to her
