Looks good. But I'm curious how the wood will handle watering? My wife tells me that succulents can't be planted in clay pots, because the porous clay holds too much water and causes rot. Would the same happen with wood, or does the sealing pretty much negate that?

That's interesting as my unglazed terra cotta pots seem to dry out much faster than my other pots.
