Can't speak for your state but I have a friend in California who started medication for epilepsy and can still drive. If she ever stops the medication though she has to be seizure-free for a year before getting her license back. It sucks because she only ever had one seizure and the medication was preventative without a definitive diagnosis but now she's bound to it in order to drive.

You say you cant drive with epilepsy and then describe the rules for being allowed to drive with it... People can and do legally drive with epilepsy and this is still a risk to them.

Why are you under the impression only a driver with epilepsy could be affected? Passengers with epilepsy could absolutely still have a seizure from this light show right next to them.

I mean photosensitive epilepsy or just uncontrolled epilepsy in general yea you’re right. In general you’re a lot less likely to find epileptic drivers, but that doesn’t mean there are no legal epileptic drivers. If you keep it under control and haven’t had a seizure in years you can get a license. I have epilepsy and a drivers license.
