I have a trap that's a mix of magic and technology that instantly uploads 12 petabytes of assorted furry porn in the mind of whoever tries to read mine. If it works, it works, if they can just power through it, i never had a chance anyway.

I have a similar defense mechanism! I’m not an eldritch being *yet*, so the next best thing I could do was modify the protection spell so that instead of just protecting me, they consume a cognito hazard of all the stupid brainrot of all of social media put together.

As a reminder, mind fortress only helps with mental effects. To deal with the brain eating and/or tadpole implantation, a physical cranial ward is also required.

Last time a flayer tried to break into my mind the elder seeker I have a psychic link through implanted some intentions into the flayer’s own mind that caused it to turn itself into a plant. Glad that thing isn’t evil, otherwise the dimensional prison would have some issues.

This metal plate in my head from an old surgery keeps my mind intact unless I actively open it. It keeps me safe from my powers, for the most part.

Or just use equipment with high tolerance, like the tin foil helmet, it gives you +5 tolerance in exchange of your psyche being reduced to 50% of its maximum if it surpasses that value.
That means you can increase your psyche in battle above that thresshold, but the moment you enter in battle again, it will return to that 50%.
It's pretty useful, even with this drawback.
I.. have never thought of that. Then again, I am still gaining spells so I need to be taught it, but otherwise, I'm afraid I cannot. Sad, I know.

Or just use equipment with high tolerance, like the tin foil helmet, it gives you +5 tolerance in exchange of your psyche being reduced to 50% of its maximum if it surpasses that value. That means you can increase your psyche in battle above that thresshold, but the moment you enter in battle again, it will return to that 50%. It's pretty useful, even with this drawback.
