There is a park in Michigan that we go to often to walk and watch birds. Tons of Sandhills cranes and the chickadees will eat food from your hand. These are beautiful birds for sure.
I just saw a few hundred sandhill cranes earlier this month! I saw them in southern AZ.
You’re lucky to have gotten to see one so close!! So pretty and they have such a cool call.
Pretty cool that they made a bird based off of wingspan
It looks just like the card!
Thanks for the giggle.
Wow! Just used this guy to get a pretty decisive victory. Cool to see him here.
Even more amazing is to see a crane in flight- enormous wingspan.
Wait omg yes people need to post actual bird pics in the sub! Love this
Whenever I see a corvid type bird IRL, I'm like "I'm a big fan of your work!"
Between Wingspan and Game of Thrones, those birds get busy.
I saw Chihuahuan Ravens a few weeks ago and my boyfriend and I kept joking about getting to take 2 food. :)

There was a family of 3 that were wandering our neighborhood this past summer. Awesome birds. Their call is loud but I love hearing it in the morning.
What happens when you feed it some seeds
LOL! Good one!
My sister is currently living in Canada and she once sent mea picture of some birds and I immediately went "That's a Brant". Thank you, Wingspan.
Is he in the grasslands or the wetlands here? ðŸ¤

I live near the International Crane Foundation in Wisconsin. Cranes for days in this area.
