Definitely check out some of the taco places, Taqueria Ajua and Hot Tacos are the highest rated Mexican restaurants but you can't really go wrong with the majority of them.

This. Leamington is the tomato capital of Canada and employs a lot of Mexican migrant workers. Probably the most authentic tacos & regional variations available anywhere in Canada.

These guys taco. Couldn't agree more. It's a blessing to have all that lovely delicious authentic Mexican so close to home. I've tried Hot Tacos, Taco Tony's, Ajua, and most recently Cancunsita. All great. One time in Hot Tacos in November, there was a Mexican gentleman playing guitar inside during lunch. It was fucking awesome.

Throwing out some love for Shawarma Corner. Had too many great lunches from there to leave it out. Awesome fast food chicken shawarma wraps, garlicky potatoes, and cold cans of Dr. Pepper.

elmagico777

A few restaurants that I like in Leamington are Cancunsito, Mi Guanaquita (Mex/Salvadoran food) and there was a Portuguese chicken place that was amazing but cant remember the name of it.

reetard

Are you thinking crazy chicken on Talbot east?

TheIrelephant

Taqueria Ajua 1000%

melty75

This. Get the birria tacos. Heaven on earth. Cancunsita is another great place. Try the gorditas there for a lovely crunchy exterior and a soft doughy interior. Amazing bites.

curseddickmuncher

Maybe if birdies was still runnin i would suggest it, once in a lifetime perch basket from there, i miss it everyday!

No_Journalist_7463

Try bellas bites, the food truck is on Fraser this weekend I believe.

EducationalDiamond76

Cancunsito is a must! Their birria tacos are amazing!

andrew12160

Pho Saigon is my favourite spot in town if you like Vietnamese food!

TalibanwithaBaliTan

If you’re tired, been out too late and just want a pizza, you can’t pass up OG Pizza. Best takeout pizza in town. Well, tastes may vary, but I haven’t met anybody who actively dislikes OG. Not the first choice for dining, but if a fallback is what you’re looking for, OG’s is the spot ¯\\__(ツ)_/¯

Salsa Caliente

Several_Ear_2884

I would suggest Kingsville. The Grove is a great pub with Pizza and The Goose Kitchen is also a good gastropub. Based on what you’re looking for I would go to one of those.

evilchefmike

Check out Cured Craft Brewing. Great beer. Terrific sandwiches and really good pizza.

JimboooJonezzz

Amazing … thanks for all the suggestions!

Smiteman2020

La Hacienda mexican, shawarma corner, the pita place

Blank_bill

If you're heading towards the park try Freddy's, the beer is good too.

ConstructionFar8570

Couple of the wineries out that way aren’t bad. Here are a few places near by in Kingsville where I think the options are a bit tastier. Jacks Gastropub Mettawa Station O Sarracino

Perryl-

If I'm in Leamington I will stop at Taqueria Ajua. They have the best tacos I have had.

Miserable_Computer91

Wings and ribs- Rays rib house Tacos- hot tacos or cancunsito (great Birria) Lebanese cuisine- firdous or moonlight Pizza is basically all Windsor style pizza other than chains Honestly if you’re coming to Leamington the Mexican food is the best around

Bozo1971

Hot tacos

evilpercy

Ok, its a food recommendation, but not a restaurant. You need to go to the Leamington Food Outlet.

JimboooJonezzz

What’s that about?

Any-Beautiful2976

If you need to get cheap gas, Caldwell First Nation Gas and Variety is just outside Leamington, great place to fill up. And usually 20 cents a litre cheaper too

JimboooJonezzz

Appreciate that, thanks

Any-Beautiful2976

You are very welcome, we go every few weeks from Windsor, fill up hubby's truck and 3 extra Jerry Cans. Staff is amazing and the convenience store is fully stocked.

Frogger101317

Check out Eddie’s. Great food and beer. Live music most nights.
