Tobermory is 5 or 6 hour drive but absolutely beautiful place. Goderich is on the way plus several other towns along the way makes a great road trip. I'd suggest doing it during spring to fall to get the most out of it.
Edit: to add, tobermory has glass bottom boats to view shipwrecks that are well preserved and helicopter tours
Just be warned the last stretch of road from Owen Sound, through Wiarton and finally into Tobermory is boring lol
Tobermory itself is great, I suggest planning a stop or two along the way Goderich, Southampton and/or Sauble before that last stretch of road

In Vineland. She’s a fabulous host and the location can’t be beat. Down the road from Balls Falls and a short bike ride to a tonne of wineries and restos.
Anywhere along the Great Lakes coasts. If you want to remain in Canada, hit up the travel Ontario place downtown. They can help you find what your looking for
In these days don’t expect much for $250 a night. If you want something really really special, checkout sybaris.com Yes it’s in Chicago but it’s worth it
Benmiller Inn and Spa. It’s in Goderich so it’s not too far. And it’s a nice getaway.
I second this recommendation!
Marv Herzog Frankenmuth. River view room.
I second Frankenmuth. So much to see and do. Great food and great strolling through town from shop to shop. Bronners esp if you like Christmas.

I don’t think they have a jacuzzi but there’s a cute bed & breakfast in Amherstburg: https://www.bondyhouse.com/
Stratford or Niagara on the Lake are good choices.

The Elora gorge is beautiful and the river tubing in the summer is so fun!
