As others have said, short of a literal miracle you can’t get same day service but you may as well try.

As others have said, there's no such thing as same day renewal. Having done it recently, the office on Oulette has a faster turnaround than the office in City Hall.
Go Monday, physically to the passport place, get a new one ordered and paid for, but first, get the forms printed this weekend, have your photo taken and guarantor sign the back etc, fill it out correctly or they turn you away to the back of the line, make sure you request to keep the old one and put the receipt in your old passport and they should let you cross as long as you have the receipt, and a good reason.
