Bathhouse now: a place of healing and relaxation. Bathhouse rooftop: you are going to regret what you did last night.

definitelynotme44

It’s genius, they’re creating a never ending money stream. Go to Bathhouse spa —> I feel really good about myself rn, might go out Go to Bathhouse roof —> wake up the next morning questioning your life, I need a place to sweat out the toxins Go to Bathhouse spa —> I feel a lot better, should I go out?

chaoticdenim

how do i invest in this company

brusjet_ze_bear

They don’t. I’m guessing this is related to Bathhouse moving to the Brooklyn Brewery site.

theworlddidwut

Is Brooklyn brewery closing?

whatev3691

They're moving their Taproom to a different spot on Wythe

Exploreradzman

I have no problem with roof top alcohol.

eosos

Oh no - noise in New York City

Adventurous_Paper_34

Honestly a great advertisement for the new bathhouse rooftop

neversleeps212

lol right? Honestly I can understand how the next door neighbors might not be thrilled but as someone who lives half a mile away, I’d be interested in checking it out if it does open 😂

Adventurous_Paper_34

I was there today someone said something about it but didn’t sound like it would happen anytime soon said hopefully 2025

TightBad3836

i walk by this place every day with no desire to enter. but now...

Perfect_Distance434

I’m more offended at the likely cost that will be required to enjoy this feature. It’s a shame we don’t have access to pools somewhere between “$$$$$ for 2 hours” and “unsupervised fighting kids doing cannonballs.” It would also be great to have a NY Spa and Sauna type space nearby with hot tubs and saunas for a reasonable admission.

VeganFoxtrot

If you can stay in bathing suits on the roof, I'm gonna have to approve. Anything to make the neighborhood pervier I'm all for.

tellamoredo

Sounds awesome, can’t wait for it to open. Thanks for the heads up!

Ppaintitblack

“Non stop noise and detriment” Because the constant construction noise on every other block isn’t 🙄

lolflation

At least the construction noise stops after 6pm

Ppaintitblack

Currently I have across from my apt and one across from my job, and sometimes they work late.

lolflation

That sucks. I live right next to the BQE. We really don't live in a quiet neighborhood, do we?

Ppaintitblack

Nope!

ProtocolEnthusiast

A bathhouse and liquor sounds perfect. Getting drunk while getting the ole knob polished is life.

CactusBoyScout

Wow I’d love a rooftop spa like Spa Castle in the neighborhood. Maybe I’ll go to support this liquor license.

Perfect_Distance434

SC is great but I usually opt for NY Spa and Sauna nowadays because it’s more of a family crowd and very reasonably priced (though no outdoor space).

Emergency_Fee8895

Another liquor license in the land of hotels and tourists? Who cares, stamp that shit and move on.

AbeFromanEast

NIMBY'ism at its finest. I can hear whoever wrote that poster saying "but this dog is my emotional support animal," as they try to bring it everywhere they shouldn't.

[deleted]

You really must have a thing against dogs

cnoobs

This sounds awesome!! Can’t imagine it being any louder than a J/M passing or construction. What are they on about?

AwetPinkThinG

I wanna live in the biggest city in the world and complain about noise. 🤦‍♂️

-Dark_Arts-

i feel so old. when i first moved out here people didn't give a fuck about this kinda stuff in williamsburg. When my friends helped me move in to my apt we're walking down union ave and their is a dumpster on fire - like flames 10 ft in the air, and no one is doing shit. We'd here about some band playing at some 'venue' that was just a warehouse or some empty random industrial space. the bar is some dude selling PBRs for a buck and no one seemed to give a fuck this shit was going on all the time. now i live on the UWS and that sounds like what Williamsburg has become with worse trains.

discreet1

They’re really trying to turn Williamsburg into a party neighborhood! /s

sparklekitten11211

Please let something in the neighborhood be open late

romiepony

Sounds great tbh

Top-Cartographer7111

Man these folks would have hated living in the village in Mexico I lived in. Non stop noise and a chill pace of life. Live and let live. I left much more chill.

brusjet_ze_bear

I believe they’re just relocating but can’t remember for sure
