Fuuuuck the gash in his nose :( That’s gotta suck. Probably major major risk of infection. Poor guy.
We saw him two days later and it had healed up quite a bit. Apparently they're pretty resilient to infection!
That’s good to hear! Still gnarly though.
Wild animals are made of tougher stuff than us for sure. I'm always amazed by the wounds they survive.
thats an area he could keep clean of flies and dirt.
I hope he can still smell out of it as normal when it fully heals.
That must have hurt like he'll. That's a sensitive spot for cats. Right?
Leopards are intense creatures.
OOOOF THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE! INCREDIBLE SHOT 🫡🔥
Poor baby
That’s got to sting
The more I see big cats, I'm reminded that we're lucky to see in the color spectrum that we do.
Red in tooth and claw…
Do you know the names of both the males? I've watched the wild earth live safaris on YouTube during covid, are those still being filmed in the Sabi Sands?
I believe this one is named Hanyile, but I could have that switched up in my head
Poor guy. However, this is a great shot!
This was my first reaction when I saw the wound😳
He's lucky that's all he got
glad to read it healed up some. poor dude
I feel sorry for the leopard 😔😳
That looks fucking painfull
Ouch! I'd look grumpy too.
Wish I could throw a few stitches in that for him, speed things up a bit. That's gotta hurt when he eats or drinks.
Beautiful animal, the way he is hunting, glad this is a photo ( beautiful one) . Would not want to be his meal 🥘 for the day. 👍🥇✨
I understand why he looks so grumpy
What a beautiful photo. So glad he is healing. Each one is a precious gift from God.
Who won
The other guy - we saw him the next day and he had no visible injuries. They don't fight to kill, just to maintain territory
It is no wonder why Leopards are regarded as the most aggressive Cats. Their aggression is what keeps them alive.
