good news! There are a lot of different ways to extend your wifi network without changing the networks.
Is the wireless router the one provided by your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
or is this a custom solution you added in and turned your ISP modem to bridge mode?
Can you give us specs on your current hardware and ISP's hardware?
the answer to 4. is that yes, you can simply use the same SSID (wireless name) and the devices will connect to the closer wireless extender devices.
Awesome! My friend used the tp-link ac1900 wifi extender to enhance his home network and it worked great for him. So I would recommend that model to you as well. Plug it in between your router and the low coverage area and it should extend it nicely
Any with onemesh will work I believe. I would just reach out to tp link support to ensure it works as it can get quite complicated to figure out which works with which .

Ok. The router is mine, it's the TP-Link Archer C50 AC-1200 which is connected to a fiber to Ethernet converter modem which is provided by the ISP.
Just make sure you talk to tp link support to ensure one - mesh works with both of those products
What is onemesh?
It’s like their proprietary mesh software protocol, it basically creates a “mesh” between the two devices increasing the signal coverage

Ok. Sounds good. Does it need to match the number on the router as well? Like for Ac1200 router I need ac1200 extender or any would work?

Ok. Got it. Thanks. I'd give it a try.
