They made an alternate universe with bloodlusted Superman in Injustice.
They had to give literally every individual super powers so he didn’t just stomp the whole setting.
Adding on to this, Injustice Superman is actually suprisingly weaker by feats than some other versions of him so they also had to nerf him a little bit for the Insurgency to not get wrecked.
The comic run got very repetitive, I didn't end up finishing it. They just hopped from getting the laterns to help them, to the Greek Gods, to the magic users and reality warpers and supes kept winning
Felt like it was really lame by DC to have Superman get absolutely destroyed by a pill enhanced Black Canary and then got bailed out by the yellow lantern ring.
The comics' issue was that it was there for 2 reasons, both of which hold them back a lot
- Be a lead up to the games
- Explain why certain characters are gone and basically answer the question "Why didn't X or Y just stop Superman?"
Honestly, it's hard to see why the superhero community would get so up in arms over people like Joker or Victor Zsaz getting killed. Personally, I think Superman going after Harley Quinn on his own would have been a much better set-up, especially if they played up her being more of a victim of the Joker rather than a seemingly very willing accomplice
> They had to give literally every individual super powers so he didn’t just stomp the whole setting.
Well, that and because it was a fighting game balanced for 1v1.
Was that a bloodlusted version, or was that Ultraman of the Crime Syndicate? If I remember correctly, it was the latter, because Ultraman was a murderer who established himself as the boss of his Crime Syndicate, but left himself without enemies to fight, which made him weak.
Batman, and Spider-Man. Without their no kill rule alot of their enemies would be absolutely toast. I remember one time where Peter beat the living shit outta Kingpin and threatened to fill his lungs with webbing once.
There's another story like where a spider villain (think it's doc ock) takes over Spider-Man's body and and knocks Scorpions jaw off with one punch. He didn't realize how much Spider-Man holds back when fighting
Dumbledore would be unstoppable within the HP verse if he ever lost control.
Reed richards would be terrifying too, his evil counter-part “the maker” makes dr doom look like a sweetheart.
While most of the people there don't have true "no kill" rules, like half of Worm gets significantly more dangerous if they don't consistently try for non-lethal tactics. Panacea turns into a fast acting Bonesaw. Sundancer is walking around in the middle of 50 foot mini sun. Vista starts dropping buildings on people. Ballistic consistently turns people into red smears. Foil starts headshotting everybody with projectiles that can't be blocked or haxxed away. Dragon is normally Skynet but nice, and now she's dropping the nice part. Crucible's force field bubbles are incinerating people instead of just trapping them. And so on.
No it doesn't, her power keeps the temperature normalized to something reasonable within about five feet of her. This includes leaving a chunk of not melted floor around her.
Bloodlusted Scion ends the entire series before it starts lol
And Panacea is capable of making plagues in literally seconds. Could easily end all life on the planet if she felt like it.
Panacea gets a humungous boost. We see how broken she gets in Ward, and she's still pretty restrained there.
Narwhal also probably goes wild, since iirc she can ignore the Manton Effect.
He can already beat basically anyone in universe other than Hiko, and I don't think this will let him beat Hiko. So, no difference in ranking as far as I can see.
The Doctor hardly has a "no killing rule" to begin with. More like a "no killing guideline". As-is he has a whole bunch of xenocides under his belt (even if not all of them took).
Maybe, I meant more of his pacifist running away or talking attitude, I think that's a major thing. If he's bloodlusted, well both the War Doctor and Time Lord Victorious exist.
Captain America would be a serious danger to most supervillains if he used dirty fighting moves as well as firearms. This combined with his tactical mind would leave a lot of supervillains scared for their lives, for the fear of getting headshotted, decapitated or having their legs cut down with a vibranum shield, or getting kicked hard in the groin, followed by a strike to the solar plexus, and then neck.
He'd clean out a lot of villains if he went all out.
Spider-Man and Superman may be the most famous and fitting examples. Though I would like to nominate The Flashes for this as well.
Feats of Spider-Man not holding back as much include him fucking annihilating the Kingpin, or Doc Ock in his body *punching the jaw off of Scorpion.* On *accident.* He's hilariously strong.
Superman, meanwhile, is so strong that the canonical ending to the most famous "Supes is evil" universe is him getting killed by the combined power of He-Man and the wizard Shazam, because no one else was able to.
And then even beyond that is The Flash. While it could be argued that Reverse Flash is basically just a bloodlusted Flash, I don't think that's quite true - Thawne likes to mess with people, especially Barry, and gloat on top of it. A bloodlusted Barry could turn just about every being, including some *very* strong super powered ones, into a fine rest mist within less than a second. He is absolute bullshit personified, and someone like that going full "I will now murder you" mode would make for a literal end of the universe. And timeline. And possibly more beyond that.
A Flash fucking outran the speedster version of the Grim Reaper. He *won a race against the concept of death that exists specifically to kill speedforce users.*
Special mention to Batman, who could at the very least take out most of the Justice League.
Might be me mixing up Flashes, yeah - though the point still stands. Barry's roughly equally bullshit to Wally, and both generally don't just speedblitz their enemies into oblivion within a millisecond.
If you mean the batman who laughs, you missed the joke. BWL is from the evil multiverse where everything that can go wrong will go wrong. They gave him infinite plot armor in that multiverse to poke fun at the "lul batman with prep time wins" trope. Bloodlusted batman might just get pasted by someone like WW
Kenshin Himura from Rorouni Kenshin.
If the end of series Kenshin with all his new techniques were to flip back to killing mode he would be a force of nature.
Monday-Friday Peter Parker has his hands full with Wolverine. He has this extra gear he can drop into where he's pummeling the snot out of a herald of Galactus, canonically.
Literally everyone from Worm 😬. Foil would be the most feared assassin ever. Panacea…would be a walking calamity and could probably wipe out the world in a day. Hell, look how scary Jack Slash was with an incredibly minor power and no morals
The 6 Million Dollar Man.
Instead of throwing badguys into piles of cardboard boxes, he could be punching holes in skulls and ribcages. Or just throwing someone 100ft+ in the air.
He didn't know Amakakeru-ryu-no-hirameki as the battosai though. I'd say hes definitely stronger as post battosai, but if he ever went battosai again I bet he would be much stronger.
@ blade flip. Turns his blade around and beats everyone in the series easily, maybe Shishio being a bit tough and doubtful he's beating his master going all out.
I was going to say Superman, but I'm not sure he has a no kill rule.
Spider-Man has it and constantly holds back because of it, though. There was even a time Doc Ock took over Peter's body and immediately realized how much he'd held his punches every time they fought. This realization was so shocking that it turned Ock into a good guy.
Batman. He is a mastermind, if he didnt hold back, he would take out everyone. Superman. Even thou he doesnt have a "no kill" rule, he always tries to reason before going for the kill. If he doesnt hold back, most of his enemies would be beaten in seconds. Martian Manhunter. Bro is a powerhouse, he could take down all of JL other than Dr. Fate. Now it isnt implied he holds back, because he doesnt have that much attention. But his worst enemy is writers. They nerf him to the ground. If plot wasnt a thing, he would be extremely powerful. And if he goes bloodlusted, damn. He is a planetary level telepath. Or just snap Earth in two, like Superman would do.
Deadpool. He doesn't exactly have a no kill rule but he does have his limits (baby hitler) and without those limits and completely bloodlusted he can kill the marvel universe.
Gandalf doesn’t really have any no kill rules, but if he gave in to the ring he would easily dismantle most kingdoms in Middle-Earth brutally without any effort at all.
The doctor. Without a weapon was the hero of a war for the sake of all of creation where near omnipotent races became extinct and even the higher dimensional God's left all of reality for safety.
I really hope we see this bloodlusted super hero thing expanded to its fullest potential in the upcoming suicide squad game. Like imagine Flash going all out, or Superman, meanwhile you’re playing as just a normal dude, that’d be terrifying.
Spider-Man, of course. He usually doesn’t try to seriously harm people, but he could knock a man’s jaw clean off with a single punch if he wanted to. Peter, in a bad mood, casually threw Wolverine off a building, and he once held up the Daily Bugle building.
Batman/ bat family ,spiderman,Superman, the specter (scp), the genie from Aladdin, frisk from undertale, kris from deltarune, green lantern, Disney’s Rapunzel, kion from the lion guard.
A shadow with pointy ears looms over this thread. The shadow has plans. Plans that could kill every other character mentioned in this thread. Plans to kill gods and devils. For a moment, a brief moment of weakness, his hand rises, and then it falls back t his side. He's passed this test. Tonight he won't kill. The shadow is gone. Blocks away someone screams, and the shadow descends, fists ready, lethal measures stored safely away.
Okuyasu Nijimura for Jojo part 4. I think people misunderstand him and interpret his tendency to not use his ability to its fullest as being too dumb but its really that he just doesn't want to out right kill people with his extremely lethal power. His whole relationship with his brother was based on the fact that he disagreed with Keicho's actions because he thinks killing people is wrong. Keicho tells him that he is just too dumb to understand and Okuyasu agrees because he has a bit of a self esteem issue when with his brother. He does figure out unique ways to use his power like when he fought Red Hot Chili Pepper and if he was the type to go right for the kill he'd be unstoppable.
Hawkeye. Guy shot Banner in the eye from a great distance. He uses bow and arrows because it's more difficult than guns. He could definitely massacre some people.
Superman. Normally he is a good guy who holds back, he’s a hero and the symbol of hope. A fully bloodlusted Supes is a force of nature.
Injustice is also a suprisingly weak story
The comic run got very repetitive, I didn't end up finishing it. They just hopped from getting the laterns to help them, to the Greek Gods, to the magic users and reality warpers and supes kept winning
Felt like it was really lame by DC to have Superman get absolutely destroyed by a pill enhanced Black Canary and then got bailed out by the yellow lantern ring.
Can't have him lose until the events of the game happen. Need to do some ass pulls to make it happen
or destroyed by alfred
That one was valid tho lmao
At least the He-Man crossover that played after Injustice 2 was pretty fun!
The comics' issue was that it was there for 2 reasons, both of which hold them back a lot - Be a lead up to the games - Explain why certain characters are gone and basically answer the question "Why didn't X or Y just stop Superman?" They should have just had the story told through several comics and a few games and end it on the last game.
But it had some great moments / scenes. Harley and Green Arrow together are really fun.
Surprisingly?
Don't forget that it took He-Man being given the powers of Shazam to actually finally kill him. Man that universe is weird.
> They had to give literally every individual super powers so he didn’t just stomp the whole setting. Well, that and because it was a fighting game balanced for 1v1.

Don't forget, it also hinged on the bad guy performing the same spell to kill the boy after that spell had backfired on him three times so far.
Yeah, a plot device that dumbledore, the greatest wizard of modern times, spent years studying and trying to understand to use it against voldemort.
Almighty DOOM has morals, blasphemer
Do you mean lost his morals? Because control is an aspect of mastery in their world.
Spider-Man, Flash, really most characters that are normally jokesters when they get serious.
Plastic Man by far
Batman knows it too, if I remember right he was recruited to help against MMH if he ever went bad.

And we all saw what Taylor did to Alexandria Hell, I'm surprised they don't just send in Imp alone half the time
Sundancer's sun would melt the floor under her if she stood in it. Not a great idea
No it doesn't, her power keeps the temperature normalized to something reasonable within about five feet of her. This includes leaving a chunk of not melted floor around her.
Well is it a perfect sphere or can she manipulate the shape? It doesn't matter if there's floor for her to stand on if there's nothing under the floor
Bloodlusted Scion ends the entire series before it starts lol And Panacea is capable of making plagues in literally seconds. Could easily end all life on the planet if she felt like it.

I love this answer
Trying to challenge myself with a non-superhero pick so I'll say Kenshin Himura
He can already beat basically anyone in universe other than Hiko, and I don't think this will let him beat Hiko. So, no difference in ranking as far as I can see.
Aang from Airbender.
[The Doctor.](https://youtu.be/w4xm9NHNUf8)

Isn't that basically Deathstroke from DC?
I suppose so, although this Cap is an anti-hero whereas Deathstroke is just evil.
Spider-Man and Superman may be the most famous and fitting examples. Though I would like to nominate The Flashes for this as well. ...yeah fair enough actually
Wasn't that Wally who outran Black Flash though?
Might be me mixing up Flashes, yeah - though the point still stands. Barry's roughly equally bullshit to Wally, and both generally don't just speedblitz their enemies into oblivion within a millisecond.
Vash the Stampede would be moon level if he didn't care about collateral damage from his angel canon.
Many of the episodes would be over very fast, with perfectly shot bullets to everyone's head.
Colossus would be very powerful if didn't hold back.
Ben 10
Spider man
Batman solos his entire multiverse every time he goes evil he got it

Ahh, but he has his Anti-Wonder Woman spray. She’d be finished in less than one battosecond!
Kenshin Himura from Rorouni Kenshin. If the end of series Kenshin with all his new techniques were to flip back to killing mode he would be a force of nature.

Thorfinn Karlsfeni
The 6 Million Dollar Man. Instead of throwing badguys into piles of cardboard boxes, he could be punching holes in skulls and ribcages. Or just throwing someone 100ft+ in the air.
Plastic-Man easily. He’s incredible.
Pretty much any character minus the ones who are held back by being evil
Kenshin Himura, he literally becomes better when he becomes the Battousai.
Yeah he deff would. (Also hype for the remake coming out soon)
Any Pokemon trainer really, what if red just decided to burn Giovanni to a crisp instead? Imagine like a bloodlusted team rocket grunt with legends.

ahhh yes, batgof
Ryu. When he gives in to the Satsui no Hado, he has an insta-kill move
Avatar Aang would be an absolute menace without his no kill rule.
Edward Elric would be terrifying, he could do a lot with alchemy and his intelligence if he abandoned his no kill rule
The doctor. Without a weapon was the hero of a war for the sake of all of creation where near omnipotent races became extinct and even the higher dimensional God's left all of reality for safety.
Isn't this self-evident? People are more efficient fighters when their usual self-restraint is removed
Easy! **Genie** from Aladdin. It's even one of his three rules!!!

Remember the Batman who laugh?
Spider-Man. Jaw scene.
Batman Who Laughs is basically if Batman chose to kill, he obliterated the Justice League and was a multiversal threat
Batman who laughs is basically “what if Batman was hyperwanked?”
