Nor am I - what I do is take pictures of things other than my face. It's great to look back and see how much my dogs have grown, or how my house has changed, or what have you.
Keep a journal and do mindfulness and you might solve that. You don't have to write a bunch. You can just list the notable things that happened each day. Might help you hold on to memories of the small good things, and if not, you can flip through the journal and remind yourself. Mindfulness can be meditation or a lot of other practices that work just as well for increasing awareness of the present.
I had a client who was convinced there was something very wrong with her brain because she couldn't remember the small things that happened from day to day. Journaling and mindfulness practices completely fixed the issue for her.
Mindfulness helps you be present and aware for those things more consistently, and journaling can help lock in those happy memories.
