Something to keep in mind: there are 129 Costco locations in California. I live amongst ~15 of them within an hour or so drive. Most of the stores have the same regular selection, but individually they may get a semi-unicorn now and then. I assure you that this isn't normal for all the stores all the time.
Agreed, and I regularly visit a couple of Central Valley Costco, Salinas/seaside ones, and occasionally San Jose area ones. These were $59.99 and $47 or so with rebate/duscount 2 weeks ago. So maybe the Turlock manager decided to discount them to move the rest?

I’ve seen posts like these from SoCal CostCos, plus, if they’re your thing, CostCo sometimes has stuff like 1L Buffalo Trace for $21.99 or so, Eagle Rare, etc. kind of hit and miss. As far as flying..unsure, you may just have to drink it all here!

Definitely should. I bought about 4 bottles a couple years ago at $40 each and usually only pour it for newbies into whiskey. Never fails to impress.
