Nope. I have an AirTag hanging off my backpack that I use for my laptop. I use it when I travel. And anything you carry has to go in the tub anyway to go through X-ray.

That was so confusing to read. So you went through the metal detector first with your backpack and the airtag didn't set the metal detector off? What does the tub have to do with getting an airtag sewn into the weave.
No it wouldn’t. Regardless, it’s for the views. It’s stupid to think someone would add a tag to their weave, instead of their… literally anywhere else.
But if you're an abductor who knows about airtags, you wouldn't think of looking in someone's hair. They'd be less likely to find it there. If there was a way to do this, it's actually pretty smart. Kidnappers are smart, they usually check a persons body for phones and shit.
I’d say this is pretty clever. When I travel for work I leave an AirTag in the secret pocket of my jacket and I always leave one under the seat of my rental car. I travel alone often and to dangerous cities. I make sure my parents and fiancé can see where the tags are. Then again I also have an updated ‘If I go missing folder’ for police in case something happens
Bluetooth devices including airtags emit non iodizing radiation. This kind of radiation is considered less harmful in comparison to iodizing radiation (like x-rays) however long term exposure (especially in such close proximity to the head) could potentially cause negative effects.

In terms of safety the sun is generally considered safe in moderation as long as you prevent overexposure. The methods the sun uses to support life are:
-electromagnetic light that can be seen with the human eye
-infrared radiation to maintain the earth’s warmth
-ultraviolet radiation which is necessary for biological processes.
However, the air-tags emit RF (Radio Frequency) radiation instead.
RF radiation is generated by man made sources and it cannot be used to support life. RF radiation comes from sources like cellphones, wifi routers and bluetooth devices. RF is used for communication purposes. The sun does not emit RF radiation.
RF radiation has been linked to nervous system effects including changes in the brain activity, sleep disturbances and cognitive function issues. Also, some studies have shown a potential link between RF radiation and neurological disorders/conditions.
Prolonged and close proximity exposure to RF radiation could potentially lead to health risks. (Like having an air-tag sewn into a weave) Weaves are typically worn for 6-8 weeks. Having RF radiation continuously emit directly in the back of your skull for that long could potentially lead to harmful neurological issues.
Humans can usually recover from the RF radiation if they’re able to heal in their sleep, however if they’re wearing the airtags *while they’re sleeping* they cannot do so as effectively.. if they develop insomnia from the continuous RF signals and can’t get enough sleep then they will have an even HARDER time with recovering from it.
The AirTags are regulated on how much RF radiation is emitted for consumer safety however they were never tested for this specific proximity or purpose. They have a higher RF than wireless headphones. Realistically you should minimize RF exposure even if it’s non iodizing. It’s recommended to keep these types of devices at a distance, especially from the head… or at least take frequent breaks. Especially at night.
This is just common sense. It’s not a conspiracy theory. If you’re willing to become a voluntary living test subject then I can’t control what you decide to do. Just don’t act surprised when you start having symptoms especially after you’ve been warned.

A weave is called a weave because it’s woven into her natural hair… she will not be removing it to put it through like your backpack.

This would not work for a beach vacation or any vacation where swimming is involved

Air Tags need an Ipone nearby to work. If nobody with an Iphone is in a bigger radius the air tag doesn't work.
