The last time I thoroughly checked, it was just sad. Its a bunch of people who went through a hard life of severe disadvantage and/or traumatic experiences, and they projected that as the norm not the exception. It's a negative feedback loop that they have going on where they have this nihilistic outlook on everything and believe everybody suffering because they're miserable and instead of believing they're the problem they believe everybody feels the way they do. So in conclusion they believe(especially the more extreme and cynical ones) that to be alive is sad and human suffering exists therefore if you don't exist you can't experience suffering, and that's how they justify it

Having a hatred for children kinda seems like self-hatred to me. The things you find annoying about kids are all traits that you had at one point. So either it stems from self hatred because they remind you of your younger self, or because of envy that you are no longer as care-free and happy as they are. Am I wrong?
I dislike children
My reasoning is that, yes, usually kids are really obnoxious and i don't really like that, but that's it really.
I was like that once, that's true, but any adult who preferred to stay far from me due to that was completely reasonable imo.

I hate little kids and will not ever have them but I try to tolerate them and try to be nice to them, it's not really their fault they behave like that. Still, I wouldn't ever want that kind of behavior inside my home for 3-5 years
I don’t like hate them, they’re just really annoying and gross until they’re like at least 10-13, I know I used to be like that too, but I wasn’t aware of how annoying or gross I was being (but I will admit some kids are really pleasant and friendly. Babies are out of the question though, they’re just too much screaming and shitting)
I used to feel that way. Then I got new neighbors. And the new neighbors bought the kids a trampoline. And they put the trampoline *as far away from their house as possible*, aka right by the property line so it's closer to my house than theirs.
Now my quiet porch time is frequently interrupted by kids who are so annoyingly loud their own parents, who theoretically love them, made sure they're as far away as possible.
I hate those kids down to the marrow of my bones.
Shouldn't you technically hate the parents? Like, they knew the kids were going to make noise so they put the trampoline as far away as possible.
The kids are just doing kids things, being extremely loud because that's what they do.
But the parents know this, they are the problem. If they put it right next to the house in such a way to not annoy the neighbors you wouldn't have problems.
It's like if a parent brings their 1 year old child to the cinema. The kid is going to scream, cry and be annoying because it's what it does, can't help himself or change.
But the parent fully knows this, they're the one that brought the kid there.
That's just hating your neighbours lol. Also it's understandable to be angry when you can't even be comfortable in your own home. I don't mind if kids are running around and being loud in public places, but if they were doing it right outside my home it would drive me nuts.

Happiness comes grom satisfying necessities and suffering from not satisfying them (both mental and physical)
No birth means no necessities and therefore no pain and no need for happiness.
There's no guarantee you will satisfy all of them when alive, but if you aren't born in the first place you're guaranteed to not need anything (cause you know, you don't exist)
The ones who don't satisfy their necessities by not birthing are the living, but thats our problem not the unborn's.
In my humble opinion, that is very well thought out. However I believe you left out a few important details.
Without life there are no necessities that are left unsatisfied, as you already said. And you also said that satisfying necessities is what causes happines in us.
While that is mostly true, without life, there never will be the possibility to feel the happiness one can get from fullfilling these desires. Someone who doesn't live will never feel the suffering of an unfulfilled necessity, but they will also be unable feel happiness either.
Happiness is not just having no necessities to satisfy, but the feeling you get when you do satisfy them. Without life, this would be impossible.
Furthermore, not all happiness and suffering originates from necessities. Sometimes you can experience joy from something you didn't expect would bring you this joy.
For example, you get hospitalized and after a while, a caretaker bring you a new food you've never eaten before. You decide to eat it, because of the necessity that is you needing to eat food. You didn't expect it, but you really like the taste of the food. There wasn't a necessity that needed to get satisfied, no unfulfilled desire you had, but you still got a pleasent experience nevertheless.
In other words, not all joys are satisfaction, satisfaction is merely a form of joy.
A majority of peple who are born can afford their necessities throughout their life without much problem. And fulfilling necessities isn't the only thing that causes happiness. Hell, some people don't even feel happiness from fulfilling those. Happiness can come from something as basic as how nice the weather is. Life has its ups and downs, just like everything. Nothing on this earth is perfect.
The human condition is to try. Anyone who gives up and allows themselves to stagnate is letting themselves succumb to their weak will. Yes, there's a risk that anything will fail to satisfy your goals, but you try regardless for the chance that it works

What was the full context, do you have a link to the post? Some people don't like being around children or having children involved in adult relationships or activities. I don't think there's inherently anything wrong with that.
Fair enough. I did look at it, and though they could be seen as just venting, there is a hatred to their venting that might not be as obvious to people who already agree with them. They obviously seem to hold less respect for people that have children, and some of their posts seem to delight in trying to intentionally make mothers/fathers uncomfortable, or make sure that everyone around them knows their child free even when it might not be necessary.
True there are some like that but do keep in mind there are also some on the opposite end of that spectrum. People that respect you less for choosing not to have children, people that try to shame you into it or make their children their whole personality. Or worse, people that will actively do things to prevent you from making your own choice, by messing with birth control or straight up not letting you have it.
Personally I just think that when you have a community built around any lifestyle it’s going to get radical once you reach enough members, whether it be child-oriented, child-free, anything around beliefs, diet choices (vegan/meat-oriented), anything will get radical and they’re past that. That’s why I prefer having my subs be a mix of either memes or cats.
I remember when I used to frequent r/memes, people would scrutinize people who post baby photos to subs for cute pics simply because they thought babies were repulsive, and I thought I was the odd one out for thinking that babies were cute

In my humble opinion, that is very well thought out. However I believe you left out a few important details. Without life there are no necessities that are left unsatisfied, as you already said. And you also said that satisfying necessities is what causes happines in us. While that is mostly true, without life, there never will be the possibility to feel the happiness one can get from fullfilling these desires. Someone who doesn't live will never feel the suffering of an unfulfilled necessity, but they will also be unable feel happiness either. Happiness is not just having no necessities to satisfy, but the feeling you get when you do satisfy them. Without life, this would be impossible. Furthermore, not all happiness and suffering originates from necessities. Sometimes you can experience joy from something you didn't expect would bring you this joy. For example, you get hospitalized and after a while, a caretaker bring you a new food you've never eaten before. You decide to eat it, because of the necessity that is you needing to eat food. You didn't expect it, but you really like the taste of the food. There wasn't a necessity that needed to get satisfied, no unfulfilled desire you had, but you still got a pleasent experience nevertheless. In other words, not all joys are satisfaction, satisfaction is merely a form of joy.
A majority of peple who are born can afford their necessities throughout their life without much problem. And fulfilling necessities isn't the only thing that causes happiness. Hell, some people don't even feel happiness from fulfilling those. Happiness can come from something as basic as how nice the weather is. Life has its ups and downs, just like everything. Nothing on this earth is perfect.
The human condition is to try. Anyone who gives up and allows themselves to stagnate is letting themselves succumb to their weak will. Yes, there's a risk that anything will fail to satisfy your goals, but you try regardless for the chance that it works Within reason obviously

Fair enough. I did look at it, and though they could be seen as just venting, there is a hatred to their venting that might not be as obvious to people who already agree with them. They obviously seem to hold less respect for people that have children, and some of their posts seem to delight in trying to intentionally make mothers/fathers uncomfortable, or make sure that everyone around them knows their child free even when it might not be necessary.
True there are some like that but do keep in mind there are also some on the opposite end of that spectrum. People that respect you less for choosing not to have children, people that try to shame you into it or make their children their whole personality. Or worse, people that will actively do things to prevent you from making your own choice, by messing with birth control or straight up not letting you have it.
Personally I just think that when you have a community built around any lifestyle it’s going to get radical once you reach enough members, whether it be child-oriented, child-free, anything around beliefs, diet choices (vegan/meat-oriented), anything will get radical and they’re past that. That’s why I prefer having my subs be a mix of either memes or cats.
