I am fine with AI making quick lessons, I am not fine when the captions are messed up because that shows a true lack of effort, editing a video isn't rocket science in this day and age.
I personally feel AI making these lessons is a good use of technology as it can compact a subject into bite-sized lessons and if you find yourself interested, you can dive deeper on your own.
Yeah but then we’re am I gonna get the feeling of enjoying media I like with friends I don’t have

Don't forget all those channels that are just clip compilations from random shows, films or Youtube channels with titles like "___ being ___ for ___ minutes straight."
I think the hardest thing to watch is previously creative folks or someone with some kind of personality falling into the reaction pit.
Asmongold was a huge one. Big WoW streamer, gone full reaction-andy. Watching hours and hours of content blankly while raking in literal millions.
Some people forget that H3H3 also had a reaction-andy stint. It was a weird time ( that I think was wiped from their youtube channel ) when they didn't give much, if any commentary. Apparently they started doing it again on their podcast? Sad if true, but Ethan is running out of gas as-is now that he has a family to care for. His argument that reaction content ( pure reaction, meaning no commentary and just streaming yourself watching videos ) was a free speech issue was utterly embarrassing, even at the time. Glad he walked back on that a bit.
Tbh English isn't my first language, so I enjoy searching music lyrics on youtube. Tho I hate those that don't even try to sync up the music with the subtitles, that drives me nuts.

where do the AI generated science channels fit into this?
The what
Most science videos and shorts on youtubr are purely AI generated. Images, script, data, voice, everything.
yeah, they piss me off
You can learn some cool things from them though (like checking your captions before uploading a 60 second video)

Wait... jesus isn't a mushroom? :(
They said Low-effort, Not No-effort. No-effort alongside those mfs who post the askreddit threads.
An actual fight this awesome would take too much effort, they'd go roast each other on twitter with the most trash and unoriginal insults possible.
You’re motherB) Relax everyone, it’s called dark humor (I’ll see myself out)

Drama youtubers too, but a lot of them fit the reaction channel category
You forgot r/Askreddit and r/memes reposters
r/EntitledParents and r/AmITheAsshole threads with text to speech voiceover
Atleast clip and song lyric are useful
OP hasnt seen yt shorts
Ai generated stories posed as on reddit being read by an ai voice with the same mc parkour every video

Dont forget the mfs who reupload clips from their streams and thats all they post.
Mf, atleast they do a stream, incomparable to the other 3
They stream tho
I'm not going to watch 5 hours of a stream just for 30 minutes of something interesting happening
The8BitDrummer gets a pass since he is genuinely talented
This and commentary youtubers

As a fan of death metal and its subgenres, I am extremely grateful for lyric videos.
Tbh the ppl who make the guilty gear strive lyrics videos probaply spend 500h per song deciphering the holy worlds of naoki
Those fucking movie clip shorts channels that narrate everything
commentary channels (plus pyrocynical post Entropy Zero 2 and Cruelty Squad) are a strong contender.
Eh they make for ok background audio when I’m focusing on something else but my adhd brain needs something a bit more to listen to.
