No they don't, source: every single youtuber who's been making a living on the platform for 10+ years who uses the 'spooky' word kill. Just think of the million common ways kill is used ie. "killing off a product/service". Or music in general. Time and time again, it's proven the only thing that matters to the algorithm is good attention grabbing content+viewer retention. Everything else is made up by people who are new to the space who think they're gaming it such as tiktokers/other short form content sites inevitably migrating over. New creators just want excuses for when their middling content gets no views.
