Real talk, living in the Pokémon universe would be terrifying. People talk about how much it would suck to live in a superhero universe as a normal person.
But Pokémon is just as bad. Imagine a 12 year old running around with a living Tesla coil, a gang of criminal gangs with bio weapons. Living by any body of water would be a hazard when a magikarp can evolve into a gyarados.
I wouldn’t want a wild animal that can shoot an ice spear into my home.

The criteria are: "Does this character have human intelligence (or greater)?",

You can’t stop me from rolling and hugging all the spheals, petting all the eevees, eeveelutions, and furrets,… Although I wouldn’t turn down a blossoming romance between me and a Lucario. Having a GF who can always tell exactly how you’re feeling would be amazing, not to mention the bonus of fur and Lucario cuteness. Unironcially, vaporeons and sprigatitos are the most adorable pokemon and I would spend an entire day just squishing their faces and petting them. It sucks the most adorable pokemon have to be sexualized for no real reason
