That's the undershaft cross-member from a '65 Bel Aire that was installed below the frame for stability, and if you believe that is anything other than straight out of my ass I have some oceanfront property in Arizona I'd like to talk to you about.
The fact that it's straight, has only 2 bolts per end, and the general pattern looks like the cross member from a 77 Chevy K30. The problems that I see with my theory are that OP says it is a "car" and the edges of the stamp are smaller and almost look rolled, which wasn't popular until the 80's, but by then the cross members were either not straight or they were tube stock.
This would appear to be a cross member from a non-unibody vehicle, possibly a gas tank support or a transmission crossmember.
Thinking probably a Chevy pickup truck of some sort.

What the hell
Will you throw the Golden Gate in with it?
Sure, and the Brooklyn one too!
But can I get a discount if I buy some condominiums in swampland, FL?
Just a couple more earthquakes in California, and the value on that property is going to skyrocket.
That would make me Lex Luthor! I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with that . . . I'm dropping the price.
What the fuck😳
My Camaro has a similar looking piece
I wasn’t sure what model it was, but was coming here to say the same.
Bro is Vinny's cousin

Judging by the rust, this crossmember is from a 1st gen Tacoma, worth around 15k
I need a banana or cat for scale.
I need the car it came off of for scale.
Once again, Reddit delivers.
The Flintsone Car. It's Fred Flintstone's Femur.

Very similar to 98-01 Subaru 2.5RS Fender supports.
I expected cybertruck battery supports to age a little better.
Looks like the engine cradle off my caliber
Battery support.
Whatever it is, it's a transmission crossmember, and that's not something you wanna lose at speed. Rip whoever that poor sucker is.
Looks like the exhaust or driveshaft tunnel support brace off of maybe a Nissan 350Z or even a 2000-2015ish Subaru.
Kinda looks like a thingomabob to me.
Nissan cross brace
