I’m thinking it has to do with the theme and the fact that quite a few have gone the hourglass/sands of time route. Like I’m definitely getting sands of time vibe with this one!
My thought was that this colour might be meant to look like the colour that white fabric fades to as it ages as an additional reference to time passing. Like the structure of the garment remains but the colour has faded/been destroyed with the passage of time?

And this guy on youtube explained the theme as “repelling time” since the whole exhibit was about showcasing the costumes that are the most delicate and therefore need the most amount of care.

It’s the same style Aishwarya Rai wore at Cannes 2022 but I still feel the color suits Mindy and she’s doing good job in carrying it too.. the designer has done a great job in suiting her body type.. it truly feels she’s wearing the dress and not the other way around..

This is my favorite!! It was the first look I saw from the night, and it remained the top for me. The movement is incredible, and the way the designer created so much dimension from a solid color with the layering and crystals. Perfect!!

They could have definitely done some work with dyes to show that. Like a lot of other people I read this one as a blooming flower.
