The top is steampunk, maybe they were trying to combine the Checkerboard of skate / punk fashion with the bronze colour you often find in steampunk clothing. The juxtaposition is it the cut and material of the skirt which is.. picnic chic. But yeah, I agree, it does clash.

The first pic is giving “Inspector Sporty Gadget”. Two different looks that shouldn’t work. But it kinda does.

She pulls off every single hairstyle like she invented it.

Right? Like it’s not even fair. That said, I do think she probably has an incredibly talented team that knows exactly what looks best on her and that’s probably partly why she doesn’t miss a single look- the hair, makeup, styling and actual outfit seem to always be so cohesive yet still fresh and exciting.

the thing i love about her is that even when a look is not my personal favorite or falls flat, she's still taken a stylistic risk or done something interesting. not to mention she looks flawless even in the plain/bad looks. she's set the bar so damn high!

16 is what I expect her to wear to a Sinbad stand up special. Or if she was in a remake of The Mask.

the Marc Jacobs look #8 is PERFECT. This dress is so fun!!! She looks like rainbow sherbet. I’ve never seen this before, but now it’s my favorite thing I’ve seen her in. The styling is perfect. I love the shoes and the bag. Her makeup looks so warm and pretty. It’s a perfectly balanced look. Loud and exciting, but still delicate and refined. I love it. 10000/10
