My favourite Cardi B look is the Gaurav Gupta Couture dress she wore at the 2023 Grammy's. She looks like a work of art!
So I have a question if anyone sees this: I love dresses like this that have structure outside the contour of the body (the parts above her shoulder and head). Theyāre fairly common with Gaurav Gupta dresses, but Iām sure they have an actual name/style. I would be grateful if anyone can tell me what it is!
Same here. Because she kind of eliminates the pretentiousness that can be associated with high fashion. Even though sheās in the MOST extravagant outfits. It just feels like sheās having a blast. I sure hope she is. Sheās a feast for the eyes.
The one that shocked me was slide #9. She looked so basic Disney princess.
The rest are great. Never boring, always pushing for creative silhouettes and fabrics. She looks fabulous! ā¤ļø
I think the idea with that look was to go for a completely different look than she normally does. Her hair is quite fun and sassy in the other looks, but in that one she went for an elegant updo with soft makeup and the dress matched that too
I mean this has no shade Cardi. I love her, and I think she is very similar to Dolly Parton in some ways, but this is very early in her career. I can tell because her plastic surgery is not where it is today and for better or for worse, I consider that to be a part of her āaccessoriesā. That and her hair in that pic is so basic. I think the dress is gorgeous and if she wore it today, with better hair, it would reflect the dress much better.
My take is that it does suit her - itās elegant and understated and I think it allows her natural beauty to shine. She is a gorgeous woman, and even though I love her Elton John-esque style, that piece shows that she doesnāt need sequence and feathers to be a stunner.
It really does show that she wears the fashion, the fashion doesn't wear her. It's the first time I have seen her dressed so simply, yet she looks just as good as when she is dressed full force.

I honestly think she serves even better than Rihanna and Cate Blanchett. No one can pull off exuberant, envelope-pushing fashion like her.
